Home Style Trio w/Eggplant in Clay Pot Salt & Pepper Squid
    Anna L.

I ordered the homestyle trio w/eggplant in clay pot and the salt and pepper squid. The clay pot was hot, fresh, and tasty. The squid wasn't over cooked. The wait staff was quick and attentive. The restaurant is clean and the ambiance is relaxed. I'd go back.

The staff is very friendly here and that alone is nice. However I was very nervous to try this place because I am more into NYC Chinese food and am picky about sesame chicken. Let's just say the wait was about 45 mins because EVERYONE is trying this new place. My advice is order online to make it easier. They also have delivery of your food is over $15 within a 3 mile radius. Where do I begin? Prices are all very reasonable for this location for starters. The sesame chicken was good; sauce was perfect, nice and crispy batter and the rice was a good portion for the lunch. Is it the best I've ever had? No--but it wouldn't be fair to equate this to fine dining Chinese in the Bay Area or NYC. For Oklahoma/Texas--it's pretty darn good! The cream cheese wonton (rangoons) cake with the sweet and sour sauce and are much better than Panda Express. You get six so hopefully you have a friend to share them with or you won't have any room for your lunch. The only downside is that my lunch comes with soup but they forgot to put it in the bag. Not a big deal, it's the second day they were open and were slammed with customers. I have more than enough food for a lunch without it. I'll just try it next time. Overall this is a gem of a Chinese place in Altus and I foresee myself gaining massive weight from eating here frequently in the future... sigh...Fat Kid Tendencies...but it is soooo delicious!!!!!! If you are in town try it as it is in the old Polynesian Restaurant by Freedom Church and White Buffalo close to Falcon/N. Park Ln.

New Chinese place in town, thank god. Something a little different here in Altus. It's actually pretty good and the staff are extremely nice.

This unassuming, small-town Chinese restaurant (that still has the sign of the former business that says Polynesian Garden) is DELICIOUS! I'm a big city girl just visiting for a few days and came here for dinner based on previous reviews and was wonderfully impressed! This extensive menu offers everything from American Chinese classics like orange chicken to beloved, authentic dishes like crispy duck and salt n pepper shrimp. We tried the crispy cream cheese wontons, house special chicken rolls, chicken potstickers, orange chicken, chicken and broccoli, egg fried rice, salt n pepper fish, eggplant in Szechuan garlic sauce, honey walnut shrimp, and stir-fried string beans. These pics were the leftovers we had after dining with 5 people. The food and service were both excellent and I will for sure be coming back the next time I'm here! I'm looking forward to it!

I would have expected to find this spectacular noodle house in Chinatown in New York City at a much higher price point. The staff was prompt and attentive. For an appetizer, I ordered the Soup Dumplings that were excellent! Juicy and tasty! For my entree, I ordered the Pan-fried Sliced Noodle with Beef... OMG! I mean there was a chef actually making the fresh sliced noodles BY HAND in the open kitchen. The Sliced Noodles come with your choice of protein, plus eggs, Chinese cabbage, onion, bean sprouts, celery, carrots, and scallions. I assume this is their signature dish... a steal at $14.99! Run do not wok (pun intended) to the Fun Noodle Bar! I cannot wait to eat there again... Will I will try the Sliced Noodle Soup with Beef, the Roasted Pork Rib Noodle Soup, or one of their tempting variet of Ramen? IDK!

However, coming back today I would definitely not return. We started with the steamed dumplings. They were mushy instead of a nice steamed texture as if they had been sitting in water for an extended (emphasis on EXTENDED) period of time, which should have warned us what was to come. The noodles in our ramen appeared old with different pieces having different textures (soggy/mushy & stale). Everything was lack luster, the service was okay, however my breaking point was seeing one charge via my bank account and seeing another on my receipt. This place needs to find a new cook, freshly make their food, and lock in before they don't last long.

I started off with the pork lumpia, which was paired with a housemaid, sweet Thai chili sauce that has more of a cake than usual. I usually prefer the glass bottle Mae ploy, but I'm glad I was able to try this. Their homemade sweet chili is made with a little extra Thai chili leading to a savory, sweet, and spicy flavor that is out of this world! The lumpia was crisp, hot, and perfectly made. The raspberry lemonade was equally as delightful! It was a large serving of lemonade, and what I can guess was a raspberry purée. This definitely cooled the palate and quenched my thirst on a hot sunny Saturday afternoon. Finally, the Beef bulgogi quesadilla was perfectly spiced, hot, and ready within minutes. This was paired with a side of guacamole, sour cream, and green chili salsa. I found that dipping the quesadilla in the remaining sweet chili sauce was perfect. I will not hesitate come back. I actually will be seeking this food truck out anytime that I come back to Fort sill. Next time I may take some pictures, I was just too hungry and the food was too good. PS. The pictures currently on yelp do not do the food justice.

It is a little bit on the tired side, but what makes this place a hit is that the food is fresh and made to order . They do a tremendous amount of takeout as it was continual throughout the lunch. While I was there. They have a drive-through option as well. You can hear the chef the owner back in the kitchen preparing each meal when you come it does take a little bit of time. Prepare yourself because everything is freshly made to order when I mean that I don't mean like 40 minutes. I just mean an extra 5 to 7 more minutes because again it's made to order they bring one plate to the table at a time as it comes off the grill or it comes out of the stove. It comes over to the table steaming hot. If you're a soup lover, this is fantastic because your soup is literally right off the stove. I ordered the beef pho which had a delicious broth that had meatballs and steak in it along with green onions. For the side was bean sprouts and jalapeños I would've loved to have had some basil, but they did not have it on this day. The flavor was fabulous and seasoned to perfection. It was a smaller bowl, but it was perfectly balanced with delicious noodles. It was served by the chef herself who was friendly and inviting. Hard-working crew in here on this day, my companion had the chicken fried rice. They commented the chicken was tender and well seasoned just like the kind you would have overseas. The fried rice was fluffy and flavorful. You could see the vegetables and large pieces of egg which sometimes you're very difficult. This rice was not oily and heavy at all difficult to eat with chopsticks so you definitely would need your regular utensils for it because it was very fluffy. This location is near the Altus Air Force Base. There was a steady stream of servicemen coming for pick up and some dining in. This is definitely a fan favorite in this town and I can see why this receives such high reviews. I highly recommend recommended and will return.
