I have been missing Bed Bath and Beyond after they closed a few years ago. Wished I knew about At Home earlier because this location is so close to where I live. They should have advertised more! I know so many people that would love this store. We would have been regulars here and try to keep them out of chapter 11! At Home has taken over the building that housed the old Sears Auto Center on Foothill and Michillinda Avenue in Pasadena. It opened about 2 years ago. Ample parking in front. Most items are at 10% off. Halloween items are at 35% off. A lot of bedding stuff like sheets and comforters are at 25%. Some pillows are 50% off. If you are looking for a bargain, go to the very middle part of the store for their clearance tables. There are two big tables of various items in clearance. This is still early on in its liquidation. The employees were so friendly and helpful. What a shame that I didn't know about this place earlier. We need pillows for our new couch so I will checking back later.

They used lifting weights that were TIED into the bottom of the rocking chair, instead of using the special furniture weights that get bolted into the frame. I cannot even believe the shoddy work of cutting corners that was done. The chair now completely tilts backwards. What should I do? Should I try to fix this between nursing sessions? The room is pretty big so thought there was going to be a lot of good stuff. Looking around the place it became quickly apparent that this stuff is really just overstock stuff. The prices are good but the stuff just seems disposable. Like you just replace them every year.
