Nothing better than homemade donuts on the weekend! I had been seeing reviews about this place, and finally made the drive to Central Square to give them a try. It was definitely worth the drive! They are very small, but offer some heated outdoor seating and a couple tables inside. The two employees (I'm assuming the owners), were so friendly and helpful and even gave my toddler some stickers. We got 6 different donuts and all were delicious. They are definitely more cake-like and heavier than other donuts, so they are very filling, but oh so good!! Pairs great with a nice cup of coffee on a cold winter day!

Stopped by this cute donut shop in Central Square and had a great experience. The people were friendly, customer service was excellent, and the donuts looked fresh and tasty. My family really enjoyed them.

I have never actually been to Country Glazed. I have only been able to enjoy their donuts because my dad loves them & picks them up for us to share as a family at home. I've never had one I didn't like. I know I'll update this review once I've had the full experience of going there but they make my dad really happy so that means a lot in my book.

Visited Country Glazed on Saturday morning. Looking for some coffee, I ended up finding one of the best donut shops I have ever been to. Simple and delicious. Quality: A absolute hidden gem, which I only happened on because of the snow. The Coffee is cheap and tasty, but it is the donuts that make a visit required. I tried three different varieties, the delicious Glazed, a very good Vanilla Frosted With Sprinkles, and the heavenly Maple Bacon. Get extra Maple Bacons, but you can't go wrong with any. Quantity: Smaller donuts, but they are heavy. Value: $2.50 for Coffee. $1.50 for Donuts. Ambiance: Country Glazed is a small donut shop in upstate New York. It does not have much fanfare, but its coffee sign pulled me in. They have a small selection of donuts on display and a counter for preparing your coffee, but otherwise the space is for baking. Grab and go. Crowd: Locals spot, lots of folks driving delivery trucks and plows on a snowy morning. Service: Extremely friendly staff, thoughtful and funny. Parking: Large parking lot out front.

Overall, I enjoyed my visit. The vibe was relaxed and low-key, making it a good place to sit down and get some work done. I spent some time working while I was there and appreciated having a space where I could focus without feeling rushed. The staff was pleasant, and one of the employees was kind enough to take a picture for me when I asked, which I appreciated. The only thing that stood out to me was that there wasn't much of a greeting or acknowledgment when I walked in, but it wasn't a huge issue. The seating was okay. The chair I chose wasn't the most comfortable for an extended stay, but it got the job done. There was also some rock music playing during my visit, which helped create a casual atmosphere. I didn't order any coffee or food this time around, so I can't speak to the menu yet. This visit was more about finding a place to work and unwind for a bit. Would I come back? Yes. While I'm still searching for my go-to coffee lounge in Syracuse, Recess is definitely a spot I'd visit again. It has a chill, unpretentious vibe that makes it easy to settle in and spend some time there. I forgot to take more pictures will do when I go back.

There are daily specials as well as a regular menu. I opted to go with a small spinach salad, you can choose larger small, as well as a cup of tomato basil soup. The salad was magnificent and beautifully arranged, and the soup was delicious. The atmosphere is really nice and in the warmer weather there are seats out in the back and on the front porch. The women running this establishment are lovely and aim to please. We ordered at the counter and they brought our food out all at the same time , no small feet since there were about 12 of us. Will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Helpful and Friendly staff with delicious food to keep you coming back. We had a couple of sandwiches which were simply lovely. The respective breads for sandwiching were cooked to perfection and the sandwiches were both so very tasty. A nice variety of sides, we got Mac salad and the Orzo, both delightful and reminding us of summer during this tough winter. We brought some homemade cookies home and yeah, you need to get some of those too. Absolutely wonderful experience, absolutely adorable cafe and we are very excited to return soon! Enjoy!!
