I had a hankering for a breakfast sandwich and it was approaching noon, so decided to try a local bagel cafe. Bagelicious is tucked into a corner of Bayberry plaza, and does not disappoint. Owner and staff friendly and welcoming. All American on Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel made fresh to order with a very short wait time. I also ordered a sugar cookie for a co worker. The best breakfast sandwich I have had in a long time, two scrambled eggs, double cheese, double bacon. The bagel itself was amazing! They do offer many homemade cream cheese flavor, and toppings as well! I did want to try the bagelicious sauce, next time! Sandwiches are large and pre cut in half making them easy to share. The reviews looked good, and we love a NY bagel, but this one did not live up to the hype for me. I had a berry bagel with strawberry cream cheese, absolutely zero flavor for both I threw out the other 1/2, also got a toasted cheddar with butter and it was just okay, not very much cheddar. My husband got an egg and cheese on cheddar, and was surprised to see the staff opening up egg product in a carton to cook for it, no real eggs freshly made here. read more

This is a great family owned business. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The inside is nice and clean with some tables to stay and sit if you choose to eat there. I was very impressed with my bagel from here today. My pick up order was ready to go on time. The bagel itself was delicious. Soft without being too chewy. Egg and bacon were perfectly cooked and didn't fall apart. I added pepper relish on to it also. My only recommendation would be if the pepper relish had a hint of sweetness to it, but that's personal preference. Reminds me of NYC or LI bagels. read more

This was Sunday morning around 9 and quite busy between take out orders and people eating in. There are about 8-10 tables so there was a nice amount if you want to eat there. There was a line but orders were taken quickly. It took about 15 minutes but we didn't mind as we sat with our coffee and talked. The bagel was very fresh so I decided to get it untoasted. Two scrambled eggs, 3 slices of thin but very flavorful bacon, 1 slice of white American cheese, ( not melted, so probably added last). It was a good sandwich but we were searching for a bagel more like a downstate, NYC style..... chewy outside and denser inside. This had a consistency kind of more bread like. Not the greatest. Drove from the valley of Syracuse to this establishment. Clean interior, friendly staff. I chose the western on an everything bagel. I wasn't aware of how this sandwich is prepared. The onions, peppers, and ham are chopped up into mini pieces and mixed into the egg. I thought it would've been separate and layered. Taste was decent. I just expected a bit more. Everything was really fresh including the staff at the counter that all paused to say hello and THANK YOU to me as I picked up my order. Polite and courteous on top of down right delicious. Front counter person taking our order was so soft spoken we could barely hear her over the ambient noise (then there was the person who called our name to say our food was ready and read back the order at nearly shouting level) . Wanted to order home fries (with peppers & onions) but they don't offer them any more; instead they have cheap prepackaged hash brown patties (I tried them; worse than McDonald's). Asked for wheat toast; they don't offer any toast anymore either. Flavored coffee had no flavor. When we inquired politely about the change in menu (more than mentioned here) the response was cold and abrupt. I understand the issues of inflation, but I'd rather have paid an increase in price for the old menu than pay the same price for cheaper fair. read more

The person who took our order was super friendly. I had the Italian Egg sandwich. The pepper relish was wonderfully acidic and tart and the eggs were very fluffy and fresh. I loved the toppings. The bagel itself was just ok. I don't know why Bagelicious' bagels don't have a shiny chewy skin to them but they don't. They are slightly roughly textured and not really a crusty skin. This has quickly become one of my go-to breakfast spots. Very clean inside and the staff are always friendly. The bagels are the softer type without the crunch on the outside, so if you love NYC bagels you might not love these. I find them delicious; they're always very fresh and soft inside and there are so many varieties to choose from. Favorites so far are the egg bagel and cheddar bagel. Have tried a few of the breakfast sandwiches (The Bagelicious, Salt City Bagel, Italian Egg Sandwich) and all have been top notch in both flavor and presentation. I have been coming here for years and it was always great. Let me still say service is great. The last few time since May the food has been sub par. Two times in a row the bagel barely toasted (didn't realize till I was at work to eat it). I used to love the omelets in the past after my weekend runs and today was the first time I ordered one in awhile for dine in. Asked for the home fries and a cheese and sausage omelette. The girl was new and asked a co worker how to ring it in they said "add as a topping" figuring they new what they were doing came as chunks of potatoes in my omelette which was served on a paper place with plastic silverware. In the past was always served at the table with real plates and silverware (maybe it's a post Covid thing). Just was not great miss the meals from the past. Also when getting coffee they use single serve creamers what a waste I know pre Covid they had a creamer in the case next to the coffee bar. Just do not like all the waste and missed the amazing home fries if the past. I will still give it another try, but I'm hoping that the toaster starts working and the dining experience gets better. read more

Now, yes, it was busy,and I understand that they make most of their food fresh, but it took 45 minutes for 2 bagel sandwiches. If I walk into a bagel place, I expect to be in and out in 15 minutes, as they're not exactly complicated dishes to make. Our food finally arrived and just wasn't impressive, especially not for the wait. My wife got her sandwich on a spinach parmesean bagel, while I chose a sundried tomato bagel for mine, and we both agreed that neither tasted any different from a plain bagel. They just didn't have the extra kick of flavor we were hoping for. There was also a lot of egg on it which resulted in the sandwich just being overly eggy in flavor, overtaking the cheese and bacon we both got. I peeled 2 layers of egg off my sandwich and it was much more enjoyable. The homefries were pretty good, almost tasted like they had sweet peppers in them, which was a pleasant surprise. It was also kind of expensive. Two bagel sandwiches, one side, and one drink came to nearly $20. We were considering buying a dozen bagels and cream cheese on our way out, but the meal was so disappointing we decided to pass. Won't be giving them another try. read more

I found the fact that the only cheese served is America to be very nostalgic and on brand for the central NY area. I loved the option of a bacon egg and cheese on a sun-dried tomato bagel but just come prepared that these are more like bagel shaped hard rolls than the style bagel you would get in NYC/NJ. That's not a bad thing per se. It's just a thing to know and common for the area. Our Saturday coffee and bagel tradition led us to Bagelicious this week. Walking in it oddly has more of a diner feel despite being a bagel shop. Once you get to the counter you can review the menu board and place your order. I went for a very basic meal of an all seed (everything) bagel and a medium coffee. The coffee while lighter than I prefer is perfectly acceptable despite being served in styrofoam. Call me a tree hugger but I don't like styrofoam. The bagel was quite good. It was soft like I like but the selection was lacking. I don't know if it's because I came later in the morning or if they have a limited selection. My delivery driver was very pleasant and kind. My sandwich was delicious. They wrapped it carefully and it stayed in tact and hot while in transmit to me. I did add ketchup to my sandwhich because I felt it was a little dry but this might just be my taste, I like ketchup on everything. I would have still eaten it without it. Saturday morning coffee. Nothing better than it usually. Except this morning we chose poorly in my opinion. At least for the caffeine standards. This was a place Naomi had bookmarked to try due to her love of bagels. And today we were gonna be in Liverpool. Figured it was a nice day for it. Upon first entrance, this is actually a nice little cafe nestled into a strip mall. I wasn't expecting as much seating as there was here and it was very clean. They are obviously CocaCola swag fans as there was nods to the soda everywhere. Staff was incredibly friendly at the counter and quick to take peoples orders and hand them a little number on a stick for their table to know where to bring their order. A few coffees and a bagel and I got a bagel sandwich for 11$ not a bad deal. Good came out quick, which was what I was hoping since it wasn't anything too crazy. And the wait time was what a lot of reviews I read people complained about. The coffee. I've had bottled water that tasted more like coffee. I wish I never added any cream to it. Didn't think to taste it first. Which had me worried for the sandwich. I tried the bagelicious sandwich with ham on a "all seed" everything bagel. And the meal got better, the bagel was soft and had nice chew to it and was lightly toasted. You could taste all of the different flavors. They definitely use egg beaters here. But they are cooked well and nice and fluffy with good quality deli ham and cheese. The sandwich definitely made up for the terrible coffee. In consensus, good value for the money when it comes to food. I'm sure a soda or a juice would have been a better choice. Clean and well taken care of establishment with a friendly staff. Local business with tasty bagels that are definitely worth a stop for a quick breakfast. But it's not something I'd actively go running for. If I can give a 0 star I I would! Long story short, we were vacationing in NY and were very hungry , so we decided to go to this place based on the 'reviews' alone!! So, we got in there and my children were thinking and looking on the menu list on what they're going to order, we even let 2 ladies behind us to go ahead and get their orders because we were still deciding what we're gonna get. After those ladies got their orders , luckily we knew what we're getting and we got so excited!! We were standing there literally watching 5 staff doing whatever the heck they're doing and none of them planned or tried to make an eye contact. I right away felt hm.,,this is NOT friendly but insisted to wait and give them a time to 'catch' themselves, solely because we were hungry. You know how that goes, when you deliberately getting ignored in a store or restaurant. So, we were standing 15 minutes, 15 d***n minutes long only to see that they greeted 2 gentlemen that just stepped their feet into the place with a complete different facial expression and tone of voice. So, those two gentlemen literally looked confused as to why the staff were trying to get their orders (they haven't even completely inside the store) and ignoring me and my children. instead of us greeting us, or ask if we were ready to tell our order they were just letting us standing there right in-front of the new customers that just came in and took their orders, started getting their orders and act like we were NOT even exist. What??? She took the two gentlemen orders and the two guys were standing behind us!!! Boy,...the humiliation was so bad that my two hungry minors noted and said :" Momma they don't like us in that place, why? and for what reasons?" We look great and act kind, why are those people acting like that?? The y are not liking us because we are not having the same color with all the customers!!! Man, when kids feel that way it is their genuine' conscience that is talking!!! So, I collect myself, keep my cool and made an eye contact with the lady that looks like the manager in that place and told her, that is to your lost when you treat people like us poorly and also to your lost when you gave a very bad example on how you treat people because based on their skin tones and race! As for me, I am going to continue to enjoy my life and our vacation and keep teaching my children how to be a good human being as long as they live on this earth. I feel sorry for all of these people because they look so hateful (especially the young teenagers boy) because they failed to proof the good reviews that I read about to be true! Only GOD knows who made those reviews, and last but least they should put a 'sign' these bagels are only for 'pure' Caucasian customers NOT for 'mixed' race, African American or darker color skin tones! So, if you happen to think about getting something from this place and you're NON Caucasian, good luck!t I don't want you to feel the same experience such as ours, if you do, pls leave a review too and be honest about it.
