The menu was surprisingly extensive; my daughters each ordered the chocolate chip pancake, while I got the Mexican Hat Dance with a coffee. However the waitress kept forgetting things, and had to come back twice to ask questions like what kind of cheese (pepperjack). Our orders were ready in what felt like a pretty average amount of time, considering there were only three other occupied tables in the restaurant. The food itself was good, but not great. The portions were decently sized, but not overly generous. Prices were good, but likewise not great. The service the decided ... average. As restaurants go, we felt that Buzz Family Diner was average. Nothing bad, but also nothing great ... just average, which is perfectly fine.

Salads came with the dinners and they were out of oil and vinegar or Italian dressing so we went with Ranch. The burger platter was the star.
