Stopped into Brew House for a morning pick me up. They had straight forward coffee and tea options & had quite a few syrup flavors to add. The syrups were all from pre-bought pumps. I ordered a Blueberry Lavender Iced Coffee and the flavor was nice. I also ordered a chai tea and pour over coffee. Everything in total was just under $14 which was great value for cost. I loved the cozy interior with sone sofas and kitchen tables to enjoy items are. They do offer food items for breakfast and lunch. read more

I love the drinks and the cheesecake at Brew House! I have a monthly meeting with a coworker there every month and we always look forward to our visit. The service is friendly and open to special requests and they don't mind us taking up a table for a couple of hours. We appreciate the variety of seating options! Lots of comfortable places to sit with a group of friends to hang out, or fly solo. Service has always been great. I haven't been during a really busy time, but it seems like food and drinks always come out quickly. If you're stopping in, I recommend getting a baked good to pair with your drink. I have had coffee and desserts here numerous times. This review is based off at least 8-10 visits. Wonderful little local cafe with good coffee and desserts and nice atmosphere. There is a little patio outside as well in the back. On the street that runs though town you get an active vibe with street parking and people walking by and a more relaxed vibe in the back with public parking lot a short walk away. Its quiet enough for me to read or work but active enough to not be bored. The staff is friendly each time I have been there. This is a local gem. read more

We came here one evening before a mudhens game to see a local artist. We ordered sandwiches and I got a cookie as well. I started out with the cookie, of course, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It wasn't exceptionally sweet but it definitely was not savory. The cookie was soft all the way through and I really enjoy that in a cookie. I don't like hard crunchy cookies. I can't recall what my husband ordered but I got the chicken Parmesan sandwich. For a little coffee house, this is one of the better chicken sandwiches I've ever had. I liked how the sandwich did not have any sauce on it and you could dip it in a bowl of sauce - it kept the bread delightfully crisp as it was grilled. There is seating for probably no more than 20 people and I love that - it makes the experience very intimate. I stop in during my coffee quest. It was very busy. Limited seating & parking wasn't too bad. The staff was super busy also so lit a lot of talk. I'm used to staff that'll talk but understand they had a line. I went in a Friday mid morning so I was surprised with how busy it was. Brew is a cute little coffee shop nestled in downtown Maumee. They have a lovely selection of pastries and beverages as well as some savory foods. The space itself is a bit on the small side but they have outdoor seating available when it's warm out. The place is usually quite busy so it may take some time to get your food if you order some but I suggest going when you have down time to read or write for a while. It's definitely cozy so I suggest spending a weekend afternoon at this place. read more

out and about visiting relations up the maumee and I get the notion to drop in on Lauri except she's not home... but she's on her way so we decide to split the difference and meet up at Brew House. I just love it when a plan comes together :-) parking can be a chore but today I managed a spot out front! are U-turns across three lanes of traffic legal here? anyway, I arrived a little early wanting a croq monsieur - but I got a ham and cheese sammich on recommendation instead and was quite satisfied. besides made to order coffee and sandwiches there's a show case of treats as well. I highly recommend the vegan raspberry bars (you hardly taste the vegan but it's in there) plenty of seating to go around with varying levels of privacy and intimacy, there's even a couple spots out back if the weather permits which has generally been a qualified nope (winter both times I've been) counter help is helpful and patient and clever enough for a little back and forth but be aware they have other things to do besides feigning interest in gossip and kvetching... Brew House is a charming shoppe nestled in the historic district; not pretending to the airs of Paris but plenty whirlable on the left bank of the Maumee. read more

We ordered: - Blackberry Lemonade - Skim Maple Cinnamon Latté - Tomato Soup + Grilled Cheese - Fruit & Cheese Platter (with Bread) The latté was phenomenal. I hadn't tried that flavor combo before, but I'm fully sold! I wasn't a huge fan of the soup, but my husband liked it. We both liked the grilled cheese. It was made with thick cut smoked cheddar - yum! The blackberry lemonade was also tasty. I initially thought the cheese board looked a little too puny, but in combo with our soup, we ended up having our pupper help us finish it up (and still had a bit of food waste ). I added bread to the cheese board, which I'd recommend if you're like me and can't stand greasy Ritz-like crackers. read more

Now you know when I saw Brew house I'm hoping for beer. Unfortunately no beer. This is a coffee house and a small one at that. Can hold maybe 20 folks of eating in. My coworker invited us to listen to his daughter during open mic and my man likes coffee so off we go. My mind was already on getting across the street to the beer pub but I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered a good deal of their small plates including meat/cheese plate, chicken parm sandwich, French onion soup. I got water but my man got coffee and he was pleased. The food was surprisingly good and the prices were under $10 per item. The staff was friendly and there are a good number of pastries. I don't have much of a sweet tooth so didn't try those but they looked delicious. Food is small portions so good for a snack on the way to dinner. They always have homemade vegan options (that actually taste good!) which seems like a rare find. They normally serve homemade cheesecakes and some sort of magical layered bars Yes they have all your shop essentials, public restrooms, wifi, outlets, comfy seating, cute outdoor patio & that nice coffee aroma. There is a point reward for frequent customers. First off can we admire how GORGEOUS their shop is? The ambiance is wonderful, cozy and welcoming. But their coffee, dessert, and food is what I really keep coming back for! The cherry cheesecake is my favorite, but their coffee is exceptionally flavorful! This was something I noticed right away. I decided to try their blueberry ice tea on my most recent visit which was a refreshing change! Aa far as food, I've had their baked mozzarella and marina dip, and their Italian sandwich, and wish I had ordered a 2nd order to go! I've brought somebody different along with me each time, and they've all agreed it was an excellent experience! One of them ordered a slice of cherry cheesecake to go to save for after dinner at home and it never made it in the fridge. They took one bite and finished in seconds. Haha! Seriously, if you haven't visited their shop yet, please do! The owners are great people, and I love that the shop has always taken covid-19 seriously, and made patrons feel safe.
