Ok its a small place but the selection is really awesome. If you like fancy bottles they definitely have you covered. If they don't have it they will get it for you. Prices are good too. Not a huge beer selection but a decent one. I was impressed because I found different things than I am used to seeing a t Specs. Plenty of parking and quick in and out unless you wanna browse. This is my "convenience" liquor location. Next to my favorite "convenience" grocer, the location could not be better. Reliability is the name of the game. It's there when you need it. Decent selection (not fair to compare it to other super-stores). Particularly on the liquor side, they're not going to have the beer/wine selection of the bigger stores, don't have the square footage. Although I did get a limited release Pumpkinator here once. Prices are a bit higher than you can get elsewhere but reasonable. Did I mention the convenience? The best feature of this store is the customer service. Friendly, polite, has that local store feeling. They don't breath down your neck asking if you need help. Always smiling upon checkout. I'll continue to go here, you should too. It's a small little place in a strip mall, but don't let their size fool you! They have a ton of alcohol in here! Maybe they don't have every single kind of alcohol ever made a la Spec's, but they have enough for me and my somewhat limited alcohol budget and palate. Plus, I don't really need exotic liquor; I'm a plain and simple kinda gal. I stopped in here to check the price on a bottle of Ciroc Red Berry vodka (my new alcoholic obsession) and the clerk was super sweet and the price was very reasonable. He was extremely knowledgeable and we talked a bit about the vodka and how it's made and that the peach flavor was so popular Ciroc couldn't make enough to keep it on the shelves. When I checked the price and the above mentioned alcohol superstore the clerk was nice enough but she didn't go out of her way and seemed a little put out I didn't buy the bottle right then. I definitely got a lot better vibe here. So, buy local and support small local businesses. If you need just non-exotic alcohol and beer, come here! The people are friendly and the prices are extremely reasonable...what else do you need? read more

What a great find! Good selection of Texas spirits and very knowledgeable staff. I popped in here thinking I'd pick up my 1 item and be on the way, and came out with a bag full of items to try. Definitely recommend you stop by - maybe you'll find a new favorite! read more

Their location is a little tricky if you are not familiar with this location. On the side strip where their signage is is misleading trying to locate the place. I almost did not find it. Then my intuition said(go around to the other side of the building and lo and behold there it sits. On the backside of the shopping strip, several feet away from their signage. That is my only strike. Back to the inside of Spec's. It is a busy location; they were well staffed to assist customers, especially for a first timer as myself. I went in with intentions to buy Tellamore D.E.W. with honey. A friend shared some with me and I liked it. It has a cute Irish Wolfhound on the label. The label is yellow and stands out. The taste is very smooth. I asked Devin, an associate, where may I find it and he happily directed me to it. We were talking and he mentioned another brand that is way more favorable with liqueur honey. So what did I do? I went with the brand he suggested. The Whistler, Irish whiskey and honey. It was also on sale, even better. As a matter of fact let me open it now to give my feedback on the taste and if it is smooth. BRB My verdic is in!
