Vic's home is tidy and smells fresh, you would never know that umpteen animals have been inside. She is personable and seems to genuinely care for each of the animals, I have refered other friends and they have been pleased as well. It is a little bit of a hike to get to her place located between Kaufman & Terrell, you know you are in the country when you see her buffalo in the next pasture, but I am a happy customer after 2+ years of visits.

She gave the dogs and us a tour of the facility, made sure all 3 understood the doggie door and went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable before we left. Knowing Cindy had concerns I was still sceptical, we get in the car to leave and her first comment was "Oh my gosh I am so relieved." Pawtham truly changed my dogs life furrever…read more Our dog Charlie was not friendly to people who weren't my husband, myself, or my daughter. He was a rescue dog we got years ago that we assumed had no possibility of changing as we had tried multiple times to break this behavior. He was just scared of other people, but because he's so adorable people thought it was okay to pet him. Charlie had a habit of snapping at people when they did this, even when we warned the people not to do it. Fast forward to Pawtham, when we moved to the area my husband and Charlie moved first while I stayed behind for several months to wrap up things at work. So he needed a daycare to take Charlie to so that he wasn't home by himself too much. He found Pawtham online and called the facility to explain Charlie's behavior problems. They offered to try and take care of him even with his unique personality. Over time Charlie actually warmed up to the staff at the facility which made us so happy and trusting to know that they took the time and care he needed. We have not taken Charlie back to Pawtham because of COVID. My husband has been working mostly from home, but Charlie is now forever changed. When we take him to meet new people now we still have to give them warnings that he might snap at them, but somehow his time at Pawtham has allowed him to realize that people are "good" again. Now instead of there being no chance of him warming up to humans, it takes him a day or sometimes just hours and he's okay with being touched by them, which brings our heart so much joy!!!! If you love your dog and want them to have someone you trust care for them, use Pawtham! You won't be disappointed!!!

Communication before and during the time we were away was really good; and I looked forward to my daily updates on how they were doing. Although our cats were struck with a sudden shy streak and would hide from her when she came in; they were eating and drinking normally so they clearly weren't missing us that much! It was also nice to come home to our mail in a nice neat pile and our trash ready to be picked up. We would definitely use Jill again; and now that we have someone we know we can rely on; we will probably travel more often!

We needed a tricky grooming done on Dexter, our 10-year-old bear-coat Shar-Pei. Ashley groomed him and she flat knocked it out of the park, folks. She trimmed his 4" fur down to about an inch long all over; it must have taken her all day. He had multiple mats -- they're all gone. And Dexter has been strutting around. He knows how good he looks and I can tell how good he feels. Ashley treated our dog like he was her baby; he absolutely adored her. We've never experienced such care and compassion for one of our pets. We will never go anywhere else.

I was always greeted in the driveway and never saw how dogs were kept inside, however, I got a call that he had run away which he has never done. He was turned in to a shelter and she got him back while I was out of town.
