Pawtham truly changed my dogs life furrever. Our dog Charlie was not friendly to people who weren't my husband, myself, or my daughter. He was a rescue dog we got years ago that we assumed had no possibility of changing as we had tried multiple times to break this behavior. He was just scared of other people, but because he's so adorable people thought it was okay to pet him. Charlie had a habit of snapping at people when they did this, even when we warned the people not to do it. Fast forward to Pawtham, when we moved to the area my husband and Charlie moved first while I stayed behind for several months to wrap up things at work. So he needed a daycare to take Charlie to so that he wasn't home by himself too much. He found Pawtham online and called the facility to explain Charlie's behavior problems. They offered to try and take care of him even with his unique personality. Over time Charlie actually warmed up to the staff at the facility which made us so happy and trusting to know that they took the time and care he needed. We have not taken Charlie back to Pawtham because of COVID. My husband has been working mostly from home, but Charlie is now forever changed. When we take him to meet new people now we still have to give them warnings that he might snap at them, but somehow his time at Pawtham has allowed him to realize that people are "good" again. Now instead of there being no chance of him warming up to humans, it takes him a day or sometimes just hours and he's okay with being touched by them, which brings our heart so much joy!!!! They did a really nice job on my dog. She's a shepherd spaniel mix. They kept her ears and tail and cleaned up the hair around her paws and legs. No cuts. They cut her nails and filed them smooth. The grooming starts at 50 and goes up based on the dogs weight. Mine is 40 pounds. The price was a little over 70. Not cheap but certainly not unreasonable for what was done. They also had her in and out in under 2 hours. Your pooch is in safe hands with them. read more

I have been going here for about 3 months since I was in need of a groomer for my canine American, Parker. This place is literally about 5 minutes from my house. I had driven by it many times since I moved to Mesquite over 6 years ago but never ventured to give them a try, until now. Not only is the owner and the groomer very nice but they are cheaper than what I was paying at the other place. Also, I immediately felt comfortable from the first moment I entered the building. Needless to say, Parker also felt comfortable and like he was a "regular" and not a newbie. I look forward to taking Parker every 6 weeks for his bath and haircut and he comes out looking very nice. We were in TX to visit and looking for a dog daycare for a day because we were expecting to be away from the hotel for most of it. One day turned into several days because they were just so amazing! Not only is pawtham city affordable, the service was beyond our expectations. They truly treated our boys as their own. I didn't ask if they had cameras or even if they take pictures but I wish I had so that we could capture all the love they gave my boys. The boys came back sleepy and my german shepherd kept rolling over for belly rubs which tells me he must've had plenty of them at pawtham city! We use Pawtham City for grooming our long haired dachshund and for de-furminator baths on our corgi. They are great!! Cameron is amazing--he cares about each and every dog and they spend time giving custom treatment to every pet, whether they're grooming, doggie daycare, or boarding. Our dogs are always relaxed and sometimes don't even want to leave at the end of the day, so you know they are treated right. The groomer I usually too my cat to was no longer grooming. I took my cat, Sterling, to get groomed cause he was shedding a lot. He came out looking so good. I think he felt good as well. The shedding has lessened. Will definitely be going again. read more

My partner and I took our almost 1 year old kitten to get her first grooming but she is the kind of breed that is shy so she was unable to get groomed today. She is a gray DMH dilute tortie cat but Kathy was more than knowledgeable and helpful informing of us what she could offer. We are going to begin taking our kitten weekly so Kathy can work with her so she can gain trust and comfort-ability in order to get groomed. Kathy told me about her experience with being a cat rescuer and her love for the animals, it made me really respect the business and I can't wait to do further business with them and knowing my animal is in good hands. read more

We have been taking Pebbles here since 2019. They are the best groomers in town. Cameron and his staff are always to loving and caring to Pebbles. Pebbles absolutely loves to go to be groomed and have a play date with the other dogs there. We wouldn't go anywhere else. I lost my cat groomer a while back and was told about this little place in Sunnyvale. I thought it would be too far for me (I'm in Rockwall), but that was not true. Very easy to get to. Little house in the middle of shopping strips and across a hospital. Angel, the groomer, is caring, friendly, detailed, careful and an awesome artist. My dog and cats have been to see her and after she's done with them they look amazing! Prices are reasonable. Accessibility is great: appointments readily available. Clean. Friendly. Patty, their assistant, is very knowledgeable and has such a caring attitude: her rescue work is admirable. Cameron and his team are amazing. My Pitador, Baxter, came from an abusive background. He's only 13 months old and I've had him 4 months. He still has some fear issues and anxiety, but after his first stay at Pawthem City he was a different pup. He wanted to play more, was better with house training and wanted to go back to the playroom when I showed up to take him home. Second time was today and he got the same great attention and love from Cameron when he walked in the door. This is now a weekly stop for my pup. They're really helping with his socialization. read more

I used this facility to board 2 of my dogs when I had to leave town one time for 10 days. They took excellent care of my babies; the dogs were happy, healthy, clean, rested, and well-fed when I picked them up. It was obvious they had been exercised, loved, and looked after better than I ever expected. I would use them again in a heartbeat if I ever need to board my pups again in the future. read more
