I moved them back and when my kids started to eat cereal, he moved them again. I asked him to not move my kids' silverware and such and he started explaining that those are "his" and not for us. I told him to not touch my kids' silverware and such and it was extremely odd and uncomfortable. He said again they were "his" and then asked me, "do you want to do the dishes?" He said we could sit where we were at but that we weren't supposed to be sitting where we were at... Also, my 7 year had dropped a fork and knife, Jon put it back on a place setting - she had put it on the side on the table so as not to use it- it looks like someone will have eaten from a fork and knife that had fell on the floor. I took a picture of the area. I talked to the front desk and they explained that the set tables weren't for breakfast. She also acknowledged there was nothing that says that anywhere and then tried to make it seem as if I should have know. Please see the picture. I don't write reviews hardly ever, this situation was extremely weird. If they don't want people to sit in that area, they could close that area off - no idea what they were thinking. The front desk was not helpful. Please look at the picture for context. The gentleman in the white sweatshirt is where we had sat down. There was absolutely nothing which said not to sit where we sat. I don't think someone should tell a guest, "do you want to do the dishes?" And extremely bad to put silverware on a place setting that a child handled it and had dropped on the floor.

There's a brewery with great food on the trail and picnic spots on a lake at the park. The zoo across from the Inn is full of bike, walking, and hiking trails. Marilyn makes home-made breakfasts that are far beyond what you'd get anywhere else for $15 a plate easy. The beds and bedding are very comfortable and the rooms are clean. We had a great experience and we'll be back!

There were several pillows on each bed, and they were also firm. The bathroom was large, and clean. Plumbing worked well and the water pressure was very good.
