We started the process around April where I sent Jessica some photos of the inspiration dress and she quickly recommended her Lilian White Satin Tulle Dress. My sister in law and I made an appointment for my 2 nieces where we enjoyed our time in the adorable Tutu Spoiled boutique. The girls had a blast trying on some veils and gowns and loved the "I said YES" photo op with the chalkboard sign following. The selected dresses came with the matching ivory bow and the girls looked beautiful in them walking down the aisle on our wedding day. My sister in law left that day with 2 additional dresses for the girls' dance recital and has been back again to purchase a communion dress. Jess is not only helpful and responsive to our requests but never rushed us during our appointment and helped to keep us within our budget for these precious pieces. Thank you Jess and Tutu Spoiled!

Mind you the seamstress hadn't even come to observe my daughter in the dress or see what needed to be altered. We returned to pay off dress and the owner had the nerve to add another $100.00 to the dress purchase after learning that we wouldn't be following through with the $495.00 alteration charge!!! It's definitely not my first time at American Dream, but most recently, on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2, 2026 , I visited American Dream since I was attending BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' at MetLife Stadium. There is an enclosed pedestrian bridge that connects the mall directly to MetLife which made it very convenient to go back and forth. My first stop at American Dream was The Rink @ The Arena to pick up my pre-ordered merchandise on Weverse Shop. There were signs indicating which way to go. The process was very smooth and easy. During the weekend, Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) brought "Your Korea Starts Here" to American Dream 11:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. (both days) for free. It was an immersive K-Tourism roadshow featuring traditional Korean music and dance performances, K-Pop performances and Random Play Dance, K-Pop quizzes, dance challenges, and audience participation, Korean food and K-Beauty experiences, interactive cultural exhibits and photo experience, commemorative event charm collection, Korea travel information and destination inspiration, promotional giveaways and prizes hosted by partner organizations at American Dream Court A. Attendees who register on-site will also be eligible to enter a drawing for a round-trip flight between Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Seoul (ICN). The event showcases both Korea's rich traditions and contemporary lifestyle, learning about Korea's culture, tourism, and lifestyle into a celebration of Korean culture, travel, food, beauty, and entertainment to experience Korea firsthand while discovering why it has become one of the world's most dynamic travel destinations. The "Your Korea Starts Here" event was so much fun and everyone was very friendly. I really enjoyed meeting other people and the vendors. Besides checking out the event, I also walked around and checked out a few stores. There are plenty of seating options around. Anytime I go to American Dream, it is always a treat and I look forward to my next visit.

1 star - More Nightmare Than Dream…read more (But giving a 3 star since what was actually open was fun.) Took my daughter to American Dream Mall for her birthday weekend, expecting water slides and celebration shakes. What we got was a masterclass in disappointment. The water park was closed for electrical work. Fine -- things happen. So we headed to the shake shop to salvage the birthday with one of their fancy cake-topped frappés. Also closed. At this point the "dream" branding was starting to feel like false advertising. The hotel situation wasn't any better, not that the mall can be blamed for this. But fair warning to others who traveled as far as we did for this magical weekend. Pool closed for the entire weekend -- not for a quick cleaning, but pending state inspection results that could take "days to weeks." Called around to other hotels thinking we'd just move. Same story everywhere. Apparently post-Memorial Day weekend triggers mandatory state testing after high guest volume, and every pool in the area was in limbo. Nobody mentioned this when we booked. Back at the mall, the game room -- where the closed shake shop lives -- lost power entirely. And if that weren't enough, the fire alarm spent a good chunk of the afternoon flashing and blaring "there is a fire in the building, evacuate immediately" on repeat. Not once. Multiple times. So to recap: no water park, no birthday shake, no hotel pool, no game room, and a fire alarm that cried wolf so often we genuinely weren't sure whether to panic or just keep walking. Happy birthday, kid. At least the parking lot was open.
