I took business shirts in to be laundered and starched paid almost $100 for this, and when I got home and opened the bags, the shirts were destroyed. The lapels were flipped up and starched that way. They had the arms crossed on all of these shirts, made them completely wrinkle under all the way down the shirt. I tried to contact them, but they were closed for the holiday or just not answering my calls from what I learned today. I returned today with my receipt, asking the guy who said he was the owner to please make it right. He said he would have to charge me the full price again and was not willing to help. He carried on as if I was not even there as I just stood there, waiting for some kind of help from him. He literally cursed me And told me to deal with it and take them somewheres else. He treated me like trash and was very very rude. I was quite surprised because when I dropped my cleaning off last week, he couldn't help but call me, sweetie and honey the entire time, which made me extremely uncomfortable to begin with. I really am ashamed that such a small business would treat somebody that way that is a new local. I was appalled by the way this man treated me and I would not recommend them to anybody. I left there with the same clothes I went there feeling belittled as I was begging for them to make it right. What a shame and what a waste of what coulda nice family business. We are professionals, which is why we dropped off our clothing at a dry cleaners to look professional. I walked in this place assuming they would be professional as well being a small business in a small town, boy was a mistaken. read more

These folk lost my granddaughter's suit, then claimed that I (as grandpa) had already picked it up. After twice claiming that I had picked it up they switched to saying that a taller young white male with a bowl haircut came in and showed them the claim number on his telephone (claiming that grandpa had sent him). My wife and I have the original receipt and we produced a bill of sale showing the worth of the suit. None of our grandkids have bowl cuts! The rude young man placed $16.00 and change on the counter to reimburse me for cleaning costs. Am trying to find the owner of this place. I had the most wonderful experience at Countryside Cleaners. Never been to this dry cleaners before, and I had a couple emergency tasks... I had my favorite black work suit jacket with a ripped seam at the arm, and my work suit pants with both hems busted; it was a Tuesday and I needed them repaired and dry cleaned, along with another suit jacket, vest, and dress by the following Monday. This gentleman said he would call his seamstress, but he wasn't sure if she could get it by Monday. I decided I could come up with a back-up outfit plan for my big monday meeting, and said whenever she could fix it would be fine. Not only did he get my clothes fixed by monday... he was able to get the repairs done and all my articles dry cleaned and pressed by Thursday! I was so relieved. It has been a long time since I have felt true service at a dry cleaning establishment. The manager could easily have said it will take two weeks for the cleaning and mending of my clothes, but he made it his duty to find out what he could do for me. So now I will be recommending this place for everyone! He even cleaned my white suit jacket back to brand-new looking conditions! It has never looked that white since I bought it! I will warn that they are a cash/check only establishment. Thankfully the owner/manager allowed me to drop off my clothes and bring cash the next day (I mean, he must be the last place that accepts checks in the CONUS.. lol). This place is so dirty I don't know how the clothes get clean. the machine are dirty the carpet is filthy and the new management is horrible. I went to work there on 02/21/18 under old management even though new management agreed. I worked hard came when asked did what was asked. was never short in my money count, but yesterday at 11:46 am I got a TEXT message that said my services were no longer needed. I tried calling the new mangers phone but he would not answer twice I finally text him back to ask why he said because of my health I have no health issues. come to find out he hired a friend of his wife and is the same color he is. Dropped off my clothes to a very nice young man one morning, came back later the next day and this "woman??" April was rude and had a very bad attitude. Please send a Detailed cleaning crew. Please tell your employees stop doing disgusting things to peoples clothes. I worked there and witnessed some of the worst things. Disgusting.
