There's a small problem with gate aggression with some of the dogs who come here owners don't make their dog give space when entering the park so it can get stress levels high entering but I've trained dogs for a while and it's a issue with many dogs unless you work with them on it but other then that my pups love coming here it's a great space to do training as well! read more

Nice dog park with a section for smaller dogs and a large section for the larger dogs. I bring my two Chihuahuas here they love it and run around till they get tired and then they relax the rest of the day, Ha ha ha! I often let them loose in the larger area to play with the bigger dogs because they can handle it. There are plenty of chairs scattered all around as well as big water tubs for the dogs there's also a water fountain if your dog doesn't want to drink from the tubs. This dog park is adjacent to a regular park buy a baseball field, so there's plenty of parking. read more

This park is pretty well kept up. I like the tree shades you're not baking in the sun. It's smaller than Quail Run so you can keep track of your dog and balls. read more

My dog Walker loves this park! The dogs are friendly. The humans are friendly. There is grass and fresh water always available and plenty of parking. A double penned park for big dogs and little dogs or if you prefer to refer to as a bold side and a timid side. It's great either way! Go there today!!! read more

During our 4-day trip to Phoenix, I took my husky puppy to different dog parks for all his play sessions. I was determined to find the best park(s) and Countryside is definitely on the list of top ones. We had the best time here... there was such a positive energy amongst the dogs, and the owners were friendly. I like that the water fountain is perched on higher ground so there's not too many dogs swarming the area at once. Sometimes that can feel claustrophobic. When we were there, it seemed like a busy time, but there was plenty of space for the dogs to run around. Not the biggest park (namely the large dog side) but I'll take quality over quantity. read more

Awesomely!!! We took our dogs early am. Grateful for large dog / small dog separation. Lots of tennis balls on hand, lots of water buckets all over, dog parents obviously clean up after their pets. Nice job! Our dogs had a great time. The next day they were all excited as soon as we pulled into the parking lot so apparently they give a high rating too! read more

No water fountains or lights. There is a grumpy fat man who brings a cooler of water for dogs, but will physically grab your dog by the scruff and rip them away if your dog even dips there paw in. It's Arizona and most dogs get their paws wet to stay cool, especially considering it's over 100 during the day and not much cooler at night. My dog cried when he grabbed him, and when I confronted him for being nasty he became an even bigger a** hole about it. Why go to the dog park to start fights? Other dog owners tried to stand up for me but the grump continued to be aggressive and nasty. We left and will never go back. Do not bring your dogs here, and beware of the fat man with a water cooler. read more

Very clean inside park. Lots of dogs inside all getting along. Only negative was walking up to entrance gate is fifty. Why people don't clean up after their dog(s) poop is beyond me. Very sad. read more

A not very considerate woman brought a LARGE Malanoise into the small dog side today. He made another dog's trip MISERABLE by trying to hump him CONTINUALLY and the IRRESPONSIBLE owner of the large dog ( who should not have been in the small dog side) did nothing to stop it! I had to leave...ruined MY time, also. League City is doing a poor job with this park. read more

For some reason They can't seem to keep grass in this dog park but the nearby playground for baseball there's grass and it all appears to be the same park. IT's basically a dirt lot for 99% of the year. read more

We took our dog here a couple times before. It was today we found out they are closed on Tuesdays. This is an average park for small and large dogs. They have separate areas for each. There are lights for evening use. As with any dog park the experience all depends on the temperament of the other dogs there at the time. read more

Great set-up! Love the water system (push it once and it's on a timer so dogs can drink from the flow or wait for it to go into the many bowls there - don't have to hold down the button!). Really friendly people and dogs. I'll be back! read more

I went yesterday morning (Friday) and Stormy had a blast! There are tons of nice people to meet. The park is basically a big grassy area and a chunk is blocked off for little dogs. There's a double entrance gate... Left for the big park and right for the small park. There's a big water fountain and buckets full of water. Everyone I saw there picked up the poop. Tennis balls are all over to use. I've also been to Cosmo. If you prefer a calmer, more one on one kind of place, Countryside is for you! read more

Great neighborhood dog park. There is a big area for big dogs and a separate area for small/timid dogs. Came here early on a Saturday morning and it wasn't too overly crowded. We have a mini dachshund so we were on the small dog side. The people who were there were friendly and attentive to their dogs. The place is clean, people are good about cleaning up after their dogs. My dog, Bella wore herself completely out here and came home and slept most of the day away. That's a good day at the Dog Park. read more

It took me a while to find it, it's off to the side, but I am glad I did! There was not many dogs their today, but my pups had a lot of fun running around and playing! Only bad thing was that there was one bag in the holders to pick up poop, and the small dog side is as small as my bad yard. Not the best if you are looking for a large area for your smaller pups to run. Also, could use a few more benches. Will be coming back! read more

I just rescued two dogs, and was unsure if they were okay around other animals. I took them both to the area for smaller/ shy dogs, and talked to the dog owners around me. They were so friendly about bringing my new pups in, and said to unleash them to see how they'd do, and not to worry if it went bad. Needless to say, we go all the time now, and our dogs are socialized and happy!! The park is clean, the people are friendly, and the dogs are even better! read more

Very boring. It's just a field to run in. The up side is there were no other dogs so mine got to run to their hearts content.

Spacious dog park with lots of grass. There are 2 sections, 1 for large dogs and 1 for small dogs. The area for large dogs is pretty spacious while the small dog size is okay. Every time I have come I have had no problems, although I only use the small dog section. Friendly people and dogs. They are closed on Tuesday's but I came around 9PM and it was still accessible. read more

We did not enjoy being harassed by some guy with a pit bull when our nice husky was just sniffing his dog. He harassed us for 5 minutes straight-to leave even though we had just as much a right to be there as him. Our husky was not doing anything but playing and it was really dumb so we just left. It made my wife feel unsafe to be harassed for nothing. What a dick. Quail run is the way better dog park and you won't get any bs that comes with bringing your family member around. read more

Countryside Dog park, is closer to me than Cosmo so I like it. Countryside is an awesome park, they also have separate areas for big and small dogs, but we chose to just stick to the big dogs side (even though we have a 6 pound Morkie) She can hang. Lola loved playing with the 90 lb rottweiler named Stretch and all the other dogs. The feel at this park is similar to Cosmo in that all the owners are familiar with each other because they come so often, but this dog park seems more community oriented. There was an older lady and one of the dog owners brought her a folding chair, the owners share and bring large coolers for water and treats for everyone. All owners watch their dogs and play with other dogs as well. There are plenty of benches and water fountains for the pups. The one thing I like about this park in comparison to Cosmo Dog Park in Gilbert is the fact that the grass is a bit healthier and its less dirty. Lola gets pretty dirty at Cosmo, but she seemed pretty good at this park because there were no dry grass bits sticking to her fur. The only thing that grossed me out was BIG dogs= BIG poops. One owner neglected to clean up after her dog, perhaps she was just excited to socialize with the other dog owners, but it kind of erked me. Love this place, Clean up after your pets! Here are some other facts about the place: *The off leash area is closed on Tuesdays for maintenance. *The park has lighted baseball fields, bbq's, picnic tables, Ramada's, and walking trails! read more

This is the best dog park I've been to, unfortunately the same lady who usually goes to Quail Run Park is here every few days and her dog attacked mine, just like the last time. I hope she'll stop coming so my dog doesn't have to miss out on the fun because she doesn't know how to train her dog to know the word 'NO'. Other than this one owner, the park is great. read more

This is a GREAT dog park if you want your dog to get Giardia!!! I took my dog here twice and a few days later my dog started having diarrhea. To the vet we went. And yup there you have it Giardia most likely from drinking out of those stupid water buckets they set up. If I were you I would stay away. Giardia is a parasite that is hard to get rid of and is spread from dog to dog or dog to human very easily! I am just writing this so you are aware. And flyer talking to a few people I guess this is VERY common at these dog parks. Very sad. read more

Great park, love how it is set up. The doggie water fountain has bowls that don't look like they are cleaned often, so we always bring our own doggie water bowl. The doggie poop bags run on a donation system, so bring your own because sometimes they're out. Bring some plastic grocery bags to donate if you have plenty! Also, a common mistake people make is sitting in the chairs or on the benches. I've watched so many male dogs pee on those seats so many times, I'm absolutely amazed people still use those chairs. I never sit down the entire time I'm there, and I'm peaches with that. If you need to sit, recommend you bring your own chair. read more

I'm still unsure about this dog park. I've been there a handful of times with my dog. She's new to Arizona, and back home she loved the dog park, smelling and playing with the other dogs. But there's something about some of the dogs energy that go to this park, they're a bit over bearing it seems. Especially if you have a smaller dog. I've had 3 times where I've been and dogs would basically just be on top of my dog at all times, and one time it caused my dog to growl a little to back them off, (it takes my dog a lot to resort to this, she just walks away but they kept right on her), resulting in a Pitbull pinning my small corgi mix to the ground. The owner of this pit couldn't even get his dog off of mine because she wasn't wearing a collar and another person had to come in and help. It's hit and miss with the dogs and owners here. I have nothing against pit bulls but obviously a Pitbull is really strong and could do serious damage. read more

It's a fenced in part grass/part rocky dirt area with some benches, a couple large trees, and water. NOTE: the water runs HOT in summer, so bring your own water. The city needs to plant some shrubs and more trees especially on the west end for shade. It's pretty basic and is the Mesa "just barely adequate" quality. NO POOP BAGS - so bring your own and please pick up poop. If everyone picked up an extra poop when they are there, it would be clean. Occasional problems with dog owner's not being responsible along with very young toddlers running and screaming throughout the park with parents at other end of park with baby. 12 yr. old age restriction should be in place - sorry, but a few ruin it for others, and it is a dog park. I just leave even though my dog's are friendly, it's just not worth the risk when I would be the one to be held responsible if their unattended 2 yr. old got hurt. read more

Park is pretty big. They have a small dog and medium and big dog side. The set up is good. Large play area for the dogs to run around. Only thing is that people still don't know how to clean after their pets! Smh... But other than that there's good space for dogs to roam freely. Also the park is pretty big as well so if you just want to walk around it's pretty nice as well. read more

Once again my husband and I decided to try countryside dog park. Our previous experience had been when a pit bull attacked our 6 month old rescue puppy. Now we brought that same dog back along with another rescue we adopted at Thanksgiving. This experience proved to be just as bad as our previous experience. The outer gate has a chain through it so it cannot be latched. Everything was going well until our new rescue followed a woman with her two dogs into the double gate system. My husband was calling our dog and the woman saw my husband coming to get our dog and opened the gate and purposely let our dog out!! I was following with our other dog and was completely stunned by her actions! When asked by both of us why she would let someone else's dog out she merely said he's a bad dog and then grinned at us. I have never seen such ignorance in my life. I don't understand her actions nor do I understand why the double gate system has been chained so it doesn't do it's job. We will not be returning and I advise others to watch for a blond woman in a silver mini van who feels it's ok to disregard the safety of others dogs. read more
