I'm so proud to live within walking distance to this park. We moved to East Mesa almost two years ago and the first thing that impressed me about the neighborhood is this park. It's huge plenty of parking this park is great for extremely large groups of people, it does have a lake that you can fish at so parents will need to watch their small children closely because there are hazards. They have basketball courts, BBQ/Picnic Areas, clean restrooms and lots of toys for the kids to play on. The park is getting ready to expand sadly by adding additional soccer fields the community wasn't very happy about that but I guess a happy medium was reached. I can recommend this park for picnics, parties or if you just want to get out and take a walk.

Wonderful walking paths! No trip hazards. Squirrel, rabbits, doves, geese, ducks.... Always a nice place to exercise and relax.

A little gem! Great for dog walking. Abundant wildlife, great paths, manicured grounds.

This is for the soccer Complex. Nice little park in the chain of Red Mountain Parks perfect for soccer. 6 regulation size fields total that can be divided in half for younger ages. Parking - 4 stars. Nice paved parking lots but fills up quickly. Do not jump the curb and park in the open areas as Mesa Park Rangers will gladly give you a $40 parking ticket. Park along street or in school parking lot as an overflow option. Plenty of sidewalks for hoofing it to the fields. Facility - 3.5 stars. Typical wide open fields with no bleachers but plenty of room for setting up your lawn chairs and shade tents. No shade trees so bring your shade tent. Bathroom facilities are decent and if a tournament I'd suggest bringing your own toilet paper. There is no concession stands but plenty of vendors to find snacks or drinks. Fields - 5 Stars. Very nice fields that have always been well kept when we've been here. Place is kept free of trash and debris unlike others we frequent. All fields having lighting. Overall a very nice park.

We've had tournaments at this park now a couple times now. The great thing about this park is that there are a couple of food trucks in an event we run late and need a bite to eat. There is plenty of parking and the lot is well lit. This park has about 8 well maintained fields. Several people had dogs with them which is nice to know we can bring our without any issues. Kids had a great time playing and watching the tournament!

I walk here regularly from my house (I live over a mile away) and it's very well-lit at night, includes a few walking paths (the longest one being 1.7 or something long) and armadas set up for picnics, grilling, and the like. There are also several playgrounds that look well-kept and some volleyball courts, which are not so well-kept. Fishing is allowed with some restrictions and a valid license. The only thing I didn't really like is the smell sometimes wafting from the pond (very common in AZ) and the hordes of teenagers inhabiting the park in the late evenings. Park closes at 10, and they're usually there on skateboards until closing time being generally annoying to all passerby. **This could just be me being curmudgeonly.

Offers different signs to learn about wildlife and how to be safe. I came in early morning in mid-October and the weather was amazing. In the morning it was about 60 degrees. The park was active: people walking the trails, fishing, several people walking their dogs and there was a group of people with their dogs getting dog training classes. The park still offers plenty of space to enjoy your time outdoors.

Our favorite is going around the scenic loop around water, spotting the ducks, geese and the birds. There are so many exotic Birds specially during the spring, it's a sight. The wildflowers are beautiful and the large trees create a perfect canopy during the summer. We love biking and hiking too, this park has a cute little waterfall and is a favorite among photographers for shoots. There are programs offered in the community center for the kids for summer break and also activities with nature which is nice specially since it's involved with nature. There is also a nice display and tribute to the veterans with some installation arts. This place is worth a visit and wish there were some kids play structure to add to the beauty.
