Recently I had Frugal Frames frame a series of paintings I had bought in Europe. They were beautifully framed as usual, and when I picked them up I lamented to Alexa that because I have no eye for design, I was dreading figuring out how to hang them in a gallery wall format. Alexa kindly offered to help me arrange them, and thanks to her artistic eye, the gallery walls look wonderful! I'll happily hire her again and recommend her to anyone who lacks an eye for design!

I can't tell you enough that this is the perfect place. We've painted pottery before, so we chose glass fusion. We made bowls using broken glass. The stores manger was amazingly helpful and had a lot of good information. I am really looking forward to picking up finished pieces when they've been fired!

Disappointed a bit today. First of all, the selection of ceramics to paint was sparce. She decided to paint a vase for her Mom and a small leaf plate for her Dad. There was really nothing she wanted for herself. Like I mentioned the selection was terrible. Secondly, we were left upstairs by ourselves while the only employee was working in the basement. She was very sweet and pleasant but how many times can you ring the bell and have her run up the steps? We struggled with a few of the small bottles of paint and they were out of brown paint. We got most everything on our own. Not sure the reason we needed to leave a tip?!! Last time here I was even more disappointed as I was with a group of ladies. We did ceramic trays in the basement. We had to get up and search for the employee to get more tiles, glue and paper towels. We all spent $45 or $50 (I forget exactly) and we were sent home with un-finished trays. We were given powder to mix the grout at home. The instructions were pathetic. I ended up purchasing ready made grout from an art supply store to finish my project. I would NEVER recommend doing a big mosaic project here. It was not what I expected and I felt ripped off with my time and money. Two times in a row I left feeling frustrated. We love coming here but the place seems a bit neglected.

You could spend hours in this store -- there's lots of vintage glassware, jewelry, home decor items and more to explore! The manager was friendly and helpful, and happy to answer our questions about the set in the window. As we took a closer look at it, he told us he'd give the person who was selling it here a call to see if she could do any better on the price. After taking a quick break to grab coffee next door and do some research, we found that the set was priced very competitively as compared to what we were finding online. We went back in, made a deal, and my friend went home with the most beautiful set of bar glasses complete with a gold holder to keep them all in place. 10/10, would visit again.

This is probably my favorite antique shop I visited in Lambertville…read more This is smaller than some of the other multi floor antique shops down the block, but that I loved the selection of curated goods. In particular, this shop has an amazing collection of glass wear. Tons of rare sets from France and England, many unique highball glass designs. The prices here aren't "cheap" but very fare for what they're offering (but much less expensive than shops like A Touch of the Past). I'll definitely be back and am already mourning the daisy highball glasses I didn't buy.
