Took in my down comforter to be dry cleaned. The older woman at the counter was really nice and she marked it for spots. It was only 27 dollars and about 5 days to clean. I had 5 pairs of pants hemmed here, gave exact measurements of what the inseam should be... received back 5 pants with inseams 1-2 inches shorter than stated on original ticket. Brought said pants back in to be fixed and received them back and the hems look like I could have done it with a home sewing machine. Spent $100 on this and the tailor proceeds to get irate and nasty with me because I was upset he ruined 5 pairs of brand new pants. Accused me of getting nasty because I said he was incorrect. Every pair was tagged with the exact seam length and he cut and sewed everyone of them way too short. I have to buy all new pants because these look horrible now and his only solution was to dry clean them which I declined as dry cleaning does not fix what was done wrong here and I wasn't about to give this man more time to ruin these pants further. Now I'm out the money for the tailoring AND 5 pairs of pants. read more

They cleaned it for the 2nd time , when they failed at the attempt to rectify the issue, they blamed the spots on my doing and said they are a 5 star dry cleaning business ‍ The owner was really rude . BE WARNED!!! I have had the worst experience(s) with the owner of this place. He's arrogant, a braggart, argumentative, combative, and irresponsible. The first time I came in with a pair of brand new suit pants needing hemmed I wanted the hem to look just like it did off the rack. 'No problem! We're master tailors here! We make men's suits! yada yada yada'. So of course I'm gonna give him a chance, he's a MASTER tailor. Long story short is when I came in to pick up pants it looked like something an amateur did. When I questioned him about it he tried to tell me I was 'just being to darn picky! We do 80 to 90 of those a day!' Sure but sir, I asked if you could make them look like they did when I brought them to you straight off the rack and you said 'No problem!' If you've ever bought men's dress pants from a department store you obviously know what a nice hem looks like. Maybe an inch to inch and a quarter, edges done on a serger nice and tight not loose, and straight stitching of course. Mine were given back to me with a 3" to 4" cuff length, very loose serging and crooked stitching. I'm talking noticeably crooked stitching, UNACCEPTABLE from a so called 'master tailor'. I dealt with this on 3 different pair of pants. Every time I tried to discuss my displeasure with the owner he gets loud and belligerent. If it weren't for the gentleman Rapha reassuring me he'd fix it I'm sure I would not have been back. It's only when dealing with the owner was a sickened by his complete lack of and disregard for professionalism. DO NOT use if you expect your garments to return to you and look like they came off the rack at the store. I would not recommend to anyone especially for someone who expects high quality from a MASTER tailor. Oh, and this guy, the owner, had the nerve to play the military card to justify his right to be rude and unprofessional. It was disgusting and embarrassing. I'll never go back. I had a very simple tailor need, so I dropped off my item on a Monday morning with pick up on Saturday. when I arrived on Saturday morning my item wasn't ready and want even at the store, an employee had taken it home to work on it. So a second trip to the store was needed. what bothers me the most, is while they had my phone number no one called to say the item wasn't going to be ready until after noon. I recently purchased 3 like new dresses at a consignment shop, they looked clean, but smelled like Frabreeze, or possibly perfume. I took them to this dry cleaner so the odor could be removed. I picked them up today, and there's no difference. When I called to inquire if they used perfumes I was told that they can Guarantee the dresses are clean. As far as I'm concerned if the garment still has an odor then it's not clean. I've taken other consignment clothing to other cleaners and the perfume odors have always been removed. Stay away! Very unprofessional. Took two dresses to have trim added to bottom and was told it would be 3 days. Went to pick up on third day and was told were not ready and to come back. Went back a few hours later and still were not ready. I asked for a refund and my dresses back ( they charge up front and I know why) she said hold on I will just do it. It took her 10 min. I had one more that needed done about 6 months and it was for same day service. Called around and they were only ones that could do it. I confirmed they could do it same day and was told no problem. When I got there they wanted to charge $25.00. The summer dress I had was about that price. The owner is being held hostage to the seamstress and is just as rude as her. They have gotten stains out of my clothes that I thought was impossible. They do large drapes comforter's & bed spreads. And my clothes always comes out looking like new! I have been a customer of Countryside Tailor and Laundry for about 4 years. For about four years, they did my suit pant hems and cuffs fast and reasonably priced. I live in Fort Lauderdale and visit my in-laws up in Oldsmar but since Dennis was always friendly, whenever I needed work done I would bring it up to coincide with my monthly visits. Recently, I had a really off putting experience. I gained some weight and took 3 suits to have the pants and jackets let out to fit to my new contours. One of the girls took my measurements and I paid up front $150. No problem, I felt like I trusted them and they always did good work before, I didn't think anything of it. When I went to pick it up the next day, after trying everything on, only 1 suit fit. It wasn't the girls fault I gained weight or there wasn't enough fabric to let out to my new size. I felt taken advantage of having them take my money and not notify me that they wouldn't be able to do the tailoring to my specifications. I was disappointed, so I asked to speak with Dennis, the owner. Now, I have always told him how much I appreciate their friendly, same day service. However, when I told him how disappointed I was that the suits were not completed to order, and that after $150 spent I still needed to go out and buy a suit, his answer to me was to bring it to him and he would give me friendly pricing. Aggravated and let down, I went with my clothes to the car where my wife was waiting. When I told her what happened, she insisted she go speak with him. From her account, Dennis was rude to her, commenting on my weight and saying that he did not care that he took a customer's money without verifying the job could be done correctly. He wasn't very nice to my wife in front of me, and she was advocating on my behalf without being rude or insulting. Only after my wife prompted him did he offer a partial refund. I am very disappointed because before today, I liked the staff and service I had received. My advice: keep your tailoring to minor alterations. Any big or complicated orders, pay after you try it on or 50/50 before and after. I will not be returning and I know I will not be missed. read more

Lost a pair of pants I brought in to be hemmed. Owner was rude to me when I asked to be reimbursed for my pants after giving them 3 weeks to find them. They provide an excellent dry cleaning service. During the week in by 10 back by 5. Alterations are reasonably priced and great quality.

We always take our clothes there for alterations and have never had a problem, including husbands suits, dresses, blouses, pants.

Let's get straight to the point here, there's no reason you should be coming to this place unless you messed up and have to get something done last minute. If you're not one of those people I have no clue why you would come here. I've been coming here for 20 years because they're old family friends of mine somehow, but WOW is this place bad. They're going to charge you and arm and a leg and it's going to come back to you looking like complete trash. Do not waste your time. read more

I brought in 5 jackets to have the sleeves shortened over the holidays.... 4 out of 5 were done well. The last jacket had sleeves about an inch different in length! I brought it back - and they were happy to fix.... but they didn't make it the same seam - so I had to have them fix it for the 3rd time. The work was done in a timely fashion: try on the clothes, get the marks, and then the work is completed in a day or two. Prices are good, compared to others. Always had quality work done. I do not even want to give this place one star. Do not go here. I went there to get a dress altered and explained to the daughter that I was very nervous that I had paid $200 for the dress and I had a horrible experience at another tailors and she assured me that they have been there for so long and they are the best and blah blah blah well let me tell you what I have never in my life experienced a business like this. I went in and tried it on and it was measured where I wanted it. I went back 2 weeks later and the dress was just completely ruined. The dress was way too short and it was longer in the front than in the back it was just unwearable. The lady said they would take some of it out and to come back. I came in the following week and tried it on and it looked as if they didn't do anything and I just had to realize that my dress was ruined. I told them I wanted my money back and they requested I bring my receipt for the dress in. I told the owner that it was a $200 dress and he told me that that was a ridiculous price for that dress as if it was any of his business what I spend on the dress. The lady at came to me and said sorry and that they fired the person that measured me b/c of them messing up on measurements also. I came back the next day with the receipt and they were going on about how much I spent on the dress and how the dress isn't worth $200 and then he proceeded to write me a check for only the dress and wouldn't pay back for the alterations. They were so rude to me so at this point I just took the check for the dress and left. My fiance who paid for the dress and alterations was not happy about not being paid back for the alterations so we went back in on Monday and we were treated worse than anyone has ever treated us. We were told that if we wanted the $55 for the alterations that we would have to sue them and then one of their employees told my fiance that he was going to beat him up. Do not take your clothes to this place. I am not a person that ever makes bad reviews for a business and I would never want to hurt a business and I wouldn't have even posted this if it wasn't for how we were treated.
