Total rip off, owner mumbles the prices, overcharges you, and claims he said the price he charged when you question him. Don't go here

Poor customer service. Expensive. Rude owner. I'd rather pick up a 6pack at Pinocchio's Pizza.

We were semi-self service in the restaurant because it was only 1 person working in the front. I felt really bad for him. He took sometime to order and brought the food out. Nevertheless the food was good. The mussels were flavorful. The sauce was white-wine base. Very unique. It came with the garlic bread on the side. I highly recommend to try. The wings are tender and juicy inside, good texture, not dry. Many tables and seats inside. Bathroom is ok. Street parking. Overall a good place to watch sports and get rowdy with tasty food.

Tap 24 was the one that had dining area right in front of the entrance with huge large glass window, so we were able to enjoy the beautiful summer day while dining. The dining space was not as big as regular restaurants, few tables in front for larger groups and smaller ones were further inside across the bar. The bar huge though where most people hung out. They also had a game viewing area in the back. But though out the place there were several TVs that had the game on. The menu had plenty of popular American style dishes. I got to try the chicken wings and mussels for appetizers. Both were excellent. My friends loved their sandwiches and salmon dishes as well. All the dishes were served within a short wait time. The bartender was serving our table as well. He did really good job. We had a wonderful time hanging out with everyone while dining and watching the game.

The bar has a good mix of sports being broadcast on TVs. I could watch live hockey, basketball and baseball easily. It's a solid place to grab some comfort food and drinks. The fish & chips plate is respectable; has 3 good-sized fillets with a nice rémoulade sauce. I found the caesar salad to be decent and when requested that dressing and cheese come on the side, it was no problem. The famous kennett square mushroom soup is too intense. Strong portobello mushrooms dominate and concentrated truffle oil only increases this, doesn't offer any counterbalance. Staffers are friendly.

The only thing that really WOWED me was the butter that came with the croissant. I can eat that whole thing by itself. Very creamy with a hint of zest. Yum! As far as the croissants was concerned, some tasted like it was stale. The pork schnitzel (4/5) entrée was pretty good. I didn't care for the sausage and gravy topping though. Would've been better without it. Anyway, the mashed potatoes were creamy, buttery, and airy. The greens were garlicky and kind of salty. Grilled chicken Caesar (2.5/5) salad was okay. The dressing lacked in a lot of ways. More citrusy and less saltiness from anchovies. The mushroom bisque was a little grainy. Would I care for coming back? Maybe. Not anytime soon though.

Ordered the Antipasto and Spicy Crab Vodka. The crab pasta never disappoints!! The Antipasto was a spread of assorted cheese, meat, and vegetables- if you like spreads you should get this. For drinks we got the Mango Picante (subtle mango taste and it wasn't overly sweet) and We Want the Funk- my favorite (had a nice banana flavor to it and it was smooth). Our server was so attentive and helpful- 10/10 for the service. They had live music there as well and all in all I thoroughly enjoyed being here! I highly recommend this place!

We easily found the restaurant, and parking was relatively simple (Media has a few different lots that are a short walk away from the main streets and restaurants). The space is unique in that it has a main restaurant area and then a second dining area that is right next door (not attached). We were seated in the offshoot area, which was cozy and nice. It still had the same ambience as the main dining area (I think, from what I could see), but in a more intimate and quieter setting. I was a little concerned that service would be more lax over there, but our server was attentive enough and our food and drinks came out in reasonable timeframes. For drinks, my husband went for a glass of red wine and our other friend opted for a cocktail. My girlfriend and I were both pregnant, so we both opted for mocktails, appreciating how many options they had! We both went for the paloma, which tasted pretty close to the real thing. For eats, we split the arancini, which was unique with its inclusion of crab meat! It was a delightful bite with the seafood accompanied by the pesto and vodka sauce. We also split the Via Ottagio, enjoying the char from the grilled lettuce, which added a nice dimension to an otherwise simple salad. For my meal, I chose the gnocchi - featuring blueberry and brown butter, it was a unique take on my favorie pasta type! Each pillow was delicately crisp on the outside but so creamy inside from the inclusion of ricotta. A great dish! All of my dining partners equally enjoyed their meals, spanning from pizza to pasta to chicken. All portions were reasonable, and prices were fair as well. We spent a while chatting after our meals were complete, so we appreciated not being kicked out to clear off the table, even when we basically closed the place out. We are spoiled in the city with such excellent Italian food anywhere you turn, but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and unique-ness of Ariano. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a solid Italian restaurant with some contemporary spins in Media!

When I saw that Sligo had Guinness Cheese Fondue and Jameson Mustard, the decision was made. We headed directly to Sligo. Bonus: I found a parking spot right in front. In Media. At Happy Hour. That alone felt like a victory. A few of the regulars sitting at the bar were amused by my pre-entry ritual. The bartender was very good, although it took him a few minutes to warm up to Jen. She has that effect on people. We ordered the bar pretzel with Guinness Cheese Fondue and Jameson Mustard. The cheese was good, but let me tell you about that Jameson Mustard... The Jameson Mustard should be its own food group. I would put that mustard on everything. Yes... everything. Wink, wink. And then I saw they had Stable 12 Brewing Company on tap. If you follow The Cheesesteak Life, you already know I'm a huge Stable 12 fan, and once again, they did not disappoint. Strawberry Lime. Yum. I'm grateful that Sterling Pig has the taste and integrity to serve real potato French fries. I've stopped buying fries most places because it's all reconstituted junk anymore, but Sterling Pig's are legit. Thank you! Pulled pork is well rendered with expected flavor and is just simple and satisfying as it should be; grilled meat. No hint of a water bath or any of the cockamamie things some cooks can do to pork meat. Not super smokey but it doesn't need to be, and it doesn't need sauce either which means it's good meat to eat alone. Brisket had all the desired flavor but loads of fat. I don't like paying for gristle and fat when I pay by the pound. Otherwise, they are one of the few places up here who can get flavor right. Big Bad Wolf in Aston used to make great burnt ends with delicious flavor but quality waned last time I tried it. All in all Sterling Pig is pretty good and if you're not used to weeks of GA BBQ every year like we are, you're definitely in for a treat among local options.
