Had a great experience at Iron Hill Brewery in Media! The service was excellent--our waitress was absolutely fantastic: friendly, attentive, and super helpful with recommendations. We were a little bummed that they were out of wings, but everything else we ordered totally made up for it. The calamari was light and crispy, the pizza hit the spot, and the bangers and mash were hearty and full of flavor--perfect comfort food. We also picked up a pack of their seltzers to go, and they were a great surprise! Not too sweet, not too fizzy--just a really smooth and refreshing drink. Definitely something we'll be grabbing again. Great vibe, great food, and even better service. We'll definitely be back!

After a night out seeing a play we stopped here for some grub. There was a 20 min wait which was fine. Plenty of space to stand or you can go sit at the bar till they call. Once we sat down our server came over and was very polite. She was full of energy and had tons of suggestions on our meal .as for the food. It was amazing tasted fantastic after they got it right. I ordered a burger with house sauce and some type of jam. Burger came dry as the desert. No trace of anything so I had to ask for it. Once I put it on it was fine. Queso skillet was awesome. The only problem i had. Beer was bad. I didn't like anything I drank and I got a flight with multiple. They all taste the same lol. Overall, really nice place

Given my previous reviews on how much we had loved this place in the past, my partner and I decided to give it another try about three months ago. What a tremendous improvement! We are so happy to see this restaurant return to its former standards. In fact, I even went in today to buy a gift certificate since they had a small promotion going on. I was talking to a couple of the folks there and found out that there's a whole new management team that's been in place for a bit. It's clear that the new team is really focused on a much better dining experience and a much cleaner restaurant. So glad to have this restaurant on the upswing!

I love this restaurant and all the employees I've encountered here! I am working at the Media Theatre, which is right next door, so this is a great go-to for the cast and patrons of the theater. I have been in for takeout, happy hour, dinner, and late night drinks over the past month and all experiences have been great! One of my favorite things about this location is the large bar area. Seats are first come, first serve and there are booths and high tops. I love their sangria and if you are a beer lover, they have so many great and unique options from their brewery! In terms of food, the nachos are my favorite app. I literally dream about them. I also like their sweet potato fries app. I've tried a bunch of different dishes recently including the salmon salad, pizza, fish tacos, and salmon burger. All were amazing! I would recommend all 4. I look forward to coming back again and again during this holiday season! This is a great spot for families and there is definitely something on the menu for everyone.

Service was great, food was awesome and the beer was good. We had three dishes and all of them were excellent and our appetizer was an awesome mixture of the house favorites. My guests and I enjoyed every bite. We are glad we got to visit while we were in from Florida! If and when I return, I will be back to try some more...

Jay was the best!!!! Made us great drinks and was very nice. Always asked us if he can get us anything. Definitely coming back because of Jay!!!

I'm grateful that Sterling Pig has the taste and integrity to serve real potato French fries. I've stopped buying fries most places because it's all reconstituted junk anymore, but Sterling Pig's are legit. Thank you! Pulled pork is well rendered with expected flavor and is just simple and satisfying as it should be; grilled meat. No hint of a water bath or any of the cockamamie things some cooks can do to pork meat. Not super smokey but it doesn't need to be, and it doesn't need sauce either which means it's good meat to eat alone. Brisket had all the desired flavor but loads of fat. I don't like paying for gristle and fat when I pay by the pound. Otherwise, they are one of the few places up here who can get flavor right. Big Bad Wolf in Aston used to make great burnt ends with delicious flavor but quality waned last time I tried it. All in all Sterling Pig is pretty good and if you're not used to weeks of GA BBQ every year like we are, you're definitely in for a treat among local options.

Located by the train stop and bustling central retail hub of Swarthmore and surrounded by street names of pretentious Ivy League schools, Ship Bottom provides a refuge with table and bar seating inside (some leather couches too) and an array of seating and fire pits outside over pebbles out back. With food trucks, live music, TVs, and an excellent pizza shop across the street, you can enjoy entertainment, a football game, and good food along with beer or even cocktails. For beer, they have an excellent year round IPA - Shack IPA - named after a lost building on LBI. It is West Coast style, generously hopped, and very drinkable. Swell Dorado double IPA is a bit more powerful, and the hazy IPAs are lighter and less hoppy. In addition to the excellent Off Season Sour, seasonal beers like the Imperial Pumpkin and stouts provide great variety. Ship Bottom's hard seltzers are incredible and light on calories. They have 8-10 flavors and mix the flavors by order. Try the Spicy Banana and Prickly Pear! There was also a maker's market going on, with several vendors selling their goods, as well as a jazz musician on guitar nearby, as well as loads of shaded picnic tables which were great for eating our sandwiches from the Fork'n'Delicious food truck (sandwiches were huge!). There were also nice bathrooms, the trailer version, close by. Not to be forgotten, there's a beer stand, pouring lots of the Tired Hands beers. There was also a cans-to-go station in case you need some roadies. (See photos for draft/can lists) We grabbed sandwiches and drinks and ate at the picnic tables, listening to the jazz music, before heading up the hill. It wasn't too busy, but there was a decent amount of people. Ordering was never a long wait, with usually one 1 person in line at any time. Leading up the hill, there are paths and clearings, with gazebos dotting the landscape. Some other folks were having a birthday party in one near by -- what a great idea. We escaped the wind by hitting the Adirondack chairs at the top of the hill and enjoyed our beers while looking down upon the entire scene. Our dog especially loved the vantage point! There was also a few cornhole boards and a frisbee golf area nearby. While the shed was closed that day due to staffing issues, my friend told me it's a can shed, so presumably you could grab drinks right there and not have the longer walk back. Worth noting: there are some ankle breakers near the top of the hill -- we think they're black walnuts -- big, round, and treacherous, so consider yourself warned! By the time we left, there was a full band playing and the crowd was growing in size. We really enjoyed our time here, and look forward to checking it out again on a less windy day.

Rolled in early on a Saturday afternoon and while there were a steady stream of people going in and out, in never got too crowded. We found our couch in the corner and hid over there amongst the plants. A few necessaries to keep in mind: No issues with parking here. F&B has some of their own spaces and if worse comes to worse, there is a public parking lot across the street by the diner that has enough spaces to probably cover whatever is happening in Woodstown. No food here per law but there are several restaurant options close by and most if not every Saturday there is some type of food truck parked out front. No table service, but it's no biggie. Up to the bar and place your order, pay right there or give them a card to open a tab and if have it settled when your done. Philly Hop Bomb - CranApple (aka Crapple) Seltzer Both were good for what they are. Nice subtle smooth cranberry flavor and a very upfront citrusy hop explosion. Also kudos to the awesome tune selection. The volume is quite loud but when we walked in they were blaring The Boy In Bubble from Paul Simon's Graceland and 38 years on, that's not a song you here anywhere. Nice. Overall, we had a very good time and while we are really never in the Woodstown area (it's business - nothing personal), if the whit and whimsy of life brings us back, F&B is definitely on the itinerary for round II. farmersandbankersbrewing.com/on-tap
