Definitely go here when in media. It's all Ages. It's great for kids. They have outdoor seating. They have an awesome beer variety on tap. They have great pizza and sandwiches. Lately my dining companion gets the Italian grinder and I get the chicken finger parm (fabulous chicken tenders topped with cheese and sauce over spaghetti). I usually get 3 meals out of it. Portions are great here. They have great happy hour deals too. In the last year or so they redecorated and now you don't feel like you're dining in a terrible diner from the 80s. Been back to Pinocchio's several times since my original review and am so happy to upgrade them to 5 stars! I've had the pizza multiple times and it's really tasty. I have not tried ordering it well done but have been very happy with the way they prepare it. The wings are still banging and the blue cheese dressing some of the best I've ever had. On my most recent trips I tried their jumbo burger and farm salad. The burger was big and delicious, clearly a house made patty from fresh ground beef. And the salad was fantastic with toasted almonds, goat cheese, grilled chicken, bacon, and croutons. I went with their house dressing which is some type of vinaigrette and loved it. Free parking, great food, and great service. The outdoor seating area is very popular in the summer months, and they also have a nice little bar inside if you want to watch a game. read more

Their beer selection is magnificent. Their pizza, however, leaves a lot to be desired. If you go, then go for the beer garden. They have a ton of cool and somewhat rare stuff on tap. If you're hungry do not get the pizza. I repeat, do not get the pizza! It is literally tasteless. So bland, and both tastes and feels like eating cardboard. Even my toddler son who is obsessed with any and all pizza wouldn't eat it. If they stepped up their food game this would be an A+ establishment. I actually set up a yelp account solely to review this restaurant because I was so offended they were only 3.5 stars. This restaurant has been consistently awesome the entirely of my 40 years on this earth. Their food is exactly the same anytime you order it. I grew up in Media, but now drive from Glen Mills just to get the take out. I compare every pizza to their pizza. Everything is fresh, hot and delicious. They are ALWAYS busy. So, whoever is leaving anything less than 5 stars, I must politely let you know that your opinion is trash. Pretty solid food and solid service that was an overall crowd pleaser. Loved getting to sit outside! We got the Greek goddess and the plain pie as well as sweet potato fries and were pleased with how reasonably priced things were. I've been ordering food from Pinocchio's for years. And while it may have been hit or miss with either the staff or orders at different times in the past. I would say that overall the food is great, and in my opinion, they make the best Pizza. Literally, I think it's the BEST PIZZA In Media. Also, I love the fact that they actually care about the food they're serving, as well as the customers, which is evident by the fact that any time I've ever had an issue, it was always addressed and taken care of immediately, which I deeply appreciate, and that's the kind of service that's kept me coming back for years. I can't say one negative thing about this place, well except for the fact that I wish they would bring back the "Cheesesteak Fries" They were the bomb!!! - I would highly recommend Pinocchio's to anyone looking for a local place to get some great food. I used to bring my children here years ago. Today I brought my grandchildren. It was a beautiful day and we ate outside. I appreciate that they are very family friendly. Toddlers can make a mess in a minute. Given a ball of dough they both wanted to eat and I kept saying play-doh. We shared a strawberry shake. It was amazingly delicious, we all agreed. Food: we got a meatball hoagie and a Zorba steak grinder. As well as the brownie delight. It was delicious. The rolls were awesome and definitely added to the taste. Prices were definitely reasonable. Beer choices for draft were good for craft beer drinkers but they have domestics as well. Decent ambiance with plenty of screens for watching sports games. The only thing lacking is the customer service. Staff is not very attentive and at one point there were probably more staff working than customers. Saw staff having personal conversations about medical issues, staff on phones behind the bar and staff playing with dough. Come for the food, definitely, but don't expect a 5 star (or even 4 star) customer experience. read more

Once again, I was impressed! The appetizers were great, the wings were some of the best prepared I've had outside of Texas. Tender, juicy and just enough spice. The pizza...the dough used for the crust was perfect, sauce was sturdy but not overpowering and all the toppings were excellent. The cheesesteak was delicious on the pizza. You should tell your Delivery Drivers NOT to block people's driveways when they're making deliveries so people don't have to wait until they return so they can get out of their own driveways. Especially when there's a parking place directly behind them. That's being assumptive, lazy, discourteous, unprofessional and just plain rude because there's only one thing that travels faster and wider than good news and that's bad news. Stopped by Pinocchio's for the first time in YEARS on a busy, rainy Monday night right a peak dinner rush. I got take out and patiently waited for it - 2 plain slices and a cheesesteak wrap. It was WORTH the wait - excellent, fresh, hot pizza (I think we lucked out and got a fresh pie) and the cheese steak wrap, while pricey ($13.00) was packed with steak and very delicious. Quality ingredients for reasonable prices. If you order often enough, worth joining their rewards club. Their Rewards club has definitely tempted me to buy more and try things I wouldn't have tried otherwise. Note if you spend something from Rewards club dollars, your earned rewards get reset. Pizza is probably the favorite here along with the selection from their beer garden, but this sandwich and a chicken tender salad I had earlier were optimal. Only thing I didn't like was that the Honey Mustard that came with the chicken tender salad had some kind of unhealthy ingredient that I was trying to minimize for myself/avoid, but of course since I received it with my order, I just used it lol. I paired it with a pumpkin beer called "Master of Pumpkins", and it was delicious! We love their crust, too! I'm glad we ordered a medium (16") so I had leftovers today. The place was crowded at 5:30 on a Saturday evening. We had maybe a 15 minute wait. Lots of kids but mostly outside. Weather was great for outdoor seating. Service was excellent - I'm sorry I didn't catch the waitresses name because of the noise inside but she was quick taking our order, returning with our drinks and then food. I requested a second beer from the gentleman that brought out our pizza and it arrived before I had finished my first. Only drawback inside the restaurant is the noise when crowded and single person bathrooms where there is almost always a wait. read more

Pretzel sandwich was loaded with meat and cheese. They also serve a large variety of beer-some that are impossible to find in stores (Pliny the Elder). Pinocchio's has been great about reinventing themselves, and keeping the menu interesting. So I wanted to update with my satisfaction over the past few years on great new (and old) menu items! The meatball parm sandwich is just incredible. They're a little light on the meatballage compared to other local places, but competitors have nothing on Pinocchio's marinara sauce. OMG! There is a citric acid in there that is friggin delightful and makes the tomato flavor burst. I am so craving another one as I write this! Dayum good! Only thing I'd tweak is the cheese was mild, and making it sharper would be better competition for that stellar sauce, and tip it over the foodgasm edge, but they're seriously close as it is. The pretzel sandwich is another good one. Mine was with turkey, like suuuuuper fresh, carved style, and Swiss cheese, and honey mustard sauce. It too was very good (not quite as good as the meatball parm), but I'd tweak this one with a stronger Dijon in the sauce, and maybe a different cheese (American would hold its own with the salt). Again it was still a solid good option, and I'll definitely have it again. Chicken fingers, fries, sweet potato fries, pizza, chocolate milkshakes, soft pretzels, etc, remain delicious old classics. But I have love for the newbies, and newbie-to-me items too! Pinocchio's is always professional, and almost always on time. Parking can still be tricky, even to run in and pick up, but it's Media. Wish they offered more than one option for their loyalty points reward. Not everyone eats mozzarella sticks, especially these days. But they're free every so many points so, eh, free. All in all they are reliable to give me good stuff for my money, and it's hard for me to be disappointed with the quality and care they put into this food. read more

We went to Pinocchio's for the first time in many years. First of all, this is primarily a pizza place. We were there at about 6:30 PM on a Tuesday. Very busy, lots of noise. A great place to bring young children or grandchildren. Service was very good. We were promptly seated, and our server, Kaitlyn, approached our table within two or three minutes. When we asked Kaitlyn about the ingredients of a particular item on the menu, she went to the kitchen and returned with a list of the ingredients. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, and my wife ordered the eggplant parmesan. The pizza was very good. It had a nice firm crust and the pepperoni added a nice amount of spice. My wife pronounced the eggplant parmesan well prepared and delicious. They have a limited but reasonably priced wine selection. The manager stopped by our table to ask about our dinner. Second, they offer a variety of toppings as well as special pizzas or platters. We ate here at the suggestion of my brother in law, who said that the place is usually packed and parking is tough to score (we were there at an odd time, so no such issues). It totally feels like the type of pizza joint that has been around for decades and not changed a whole lot in all the years. The menu is pretty straightforward but definitely meets the mark. There are all kinds of pizza options, good app options and a good beer selection (thank you for having Allegash White on tap!). We ordered the cheesesteak eggrolls, which I really really liked a lot. I think the kitchen was having a bad night and burning everyone's roll and not that @kieransmommy was trying to ruin my Saturday night. The Zorba, very tasty and $8.50. Other than being burnt and too big for the CS the roll did a pretty good job staying together and I do like toasted (?). Family friendly pizza place. They have a casual outdoor seating area with a draft beer truck and some carnival lights for ambience. On the side, they have a "beer garden" which has a huge variety of local and imported beers, but the seating area is limited. We had a round of beers and left, but would've stayed if there was some music. Any music, even a small speaker would have been nice. read more
