So I did what any rational person would do and looked for an independent business owner local to me who could install the equipment I wanted but also service it continually. Chris met with us quickly and was happy to do the system exactly how I wanted it, with quality parts from some of the best manufacturers with solid warranties. He was happy to install some other equipment I bought and set up my over the top redundancies so we will always have the ability to service the system at any time without losing water access. Chris is really a straightforward and down to earth guy who uses industry standard gear all the way up to complete overkill and doesn't try to upsell at all. He specifically quoted us on a right-sized system and was happy to accommodate my specifications and equipment. All installed in a day and exactly how I envisaged.

I grew up in the suburbs, so buying my first home with a well and septic system has been quite a learning curve. My first interaction with Tim was him talking me off the ledge about the well test coming back positive for Coli. I almost had a panic attack, but he patiently explained how it's pretty common and set me up with the proper equipment to fix it. His calm and laidback demeanor was a comfort during the stress of closing on a new home. No Big, I Got You. When the time came for a full filter and softener system for the house, I called Tim first. I only made one other call for a quote that was much higher. Basically the guy said "Tim! I know him. He's the best in the business. We buy our systems from him". Since then Tim always gets back to me when I text him with questions about weird stuff. I once tried calling a well company with my dumb questions, they were rude, so that's why I bug him so much. Jake (Tim's side-kick) is fantastic too. When he did the maintenance on my system, he was just as nice and chill, very professional and efficient, and again, answered all my silly questions with patience and a smile. We now enjoy pretty much the BEST tasting water ever, with confidence in its safety and quality. I can't recommend Filter Right enough. A++++

Extra kudos to Patrick who dug a trench with a smile on his face! Brandon Smith the salesman who first came to our house also was great explaining how the system works and it's benefits and I was able to call him on several occasions with questions before the installers came. We are enjoying our delicious clean water straight from the facet ( no more bottled water ) and my hair, our laundry, the dishes from the dishwasher , everything involving water is so much better now. We have used Northwest ST Clair Water System for 7 years now, not sure how they go about estimating…read morewater bill, ive lived in the same spot using their service for 7 years now. our bill has never been close to the same amount every month it has gone from 45 in november to 160 in december, and my wife calls to see why the drastic change in price, the guy she spoke to says you got a leak, so i check everywhere underneath residence, chang all the flush valves and flappers in toilets for that must be where water is going. after i notice drop in pressure, knowing there is definnetly a leak somewhere i check meter spinning wide open so i turn water off leak is on the water main line from meter which is located 300 yards away on the side of my neighbors driveway under a lot of brush and high grass we replace main line from meter to residence check no leaks meter not spinning. monday water company or the guy who works there calls and says and i quote " Do not freak out but i pinged your water meter and your bill for one month is 1200 dollars lol. I knew it would be higher because of leak that after it was discovered a couple hours after water pressure dropped i turned water off. 1200 dollars for water we did not use or can find where it went 1200 dollars is enough water to fill a small lake to be precise 212,110 gallons, compared to the 15,000 we usually use. The ones employed by this water company are not helpful very rude, and if you ask me need to learn to use the pinger they read meters with without even getting out of vehicle ride by aim in the guesstamated area and from 160 to 1200 in a two month span. from what i can figure is take a zero off that 212,110 and you will have the correct reading 21,110 which would equal around 120 dollars. these meters cant be scanned every time never checking to see if reading is accurate. Any one who uses Northwest water shoul start reading their meter themselves sameday they do and keep them honest and earning their pay checks.
