He was able to help us out and told me that he had time next week to fit me in . I returned Monday morning as planned and his crew jumped right on it . I damaged the right side compartment doors on my Gulfstream. I went to County RV Repair and we agreed on a price. They said they could start the following week and asked for a $2,000 deposit which I gave them. Once they had my deposit, they stalled me off for another three weeks. Finally when they started work, the three day job turned into an 11 day job. I rented a car and stayed in a hotel for 11 days. From my first contact with them until completion, was about 40 days. The completed job was terrible but I was anxious to go home so I paid them and left.The fit and alignment of the compartment doors is terrible and the paint color does not match. Additionally, they do not have a paint booth. They moved the motor home outside in the sun to cure the paint. There is over-spray on the windshield. The body shop charged me an additional $1,920 over the estimate. I was away from home and anxious to leave, so I just paid them and left. read more

I had absolutely no issues with Chris. I went for an oil change and he showed me how our back tires were cracked and low air. He does not sell tires. He called a tire company (next door) and negotiated 2 tire prices for us. We actually got 300 off the price. He was honest and did everything in his powers to give and get us the best price. do not use "county rv repair and sales"!!!!!! 6821 e. gila ridge rd in yuma, az. they riped us off, was rude, dismissive of women, and stated they would not work on park model furnace even though it says 110 volt on the furnace!! everthough they took it apart and put it back together wrong. do not use county rv repair and sales. they charged us $140 on a furnace they said they "could not work on. the fan which we replaced and brought to them in machanical order does not even work after they took it apart. the only thing we asked them when we brought it in was a propane issue. read more

Our 5th trailer suffered some road damage on I-8 coming into the Yuma area. My wife got on the phone immediately and started calling RV repair shops in the area. The first two said they were crazy busy and backed up and couldn't take on our repair. After all, this is Yuma in January - the Snow Bird capital of the southwest. We then called County RV Repair. Chris Morales said that he was busy for the day but would work us in the following day. Since our RV was out of service we needed to secure a room while our unit was being repaired. We had reservations at Palm Desert and we didn't want to miss them, speed was important to us on the needed repair. I am disappointed. Went there last year and got a good impression. I went back for a different issue.. called the day before to stop in for an estimate to address sticky trailer brakes and some bend in some metal in the back of the trailer. No callback...Chris would not look at it or give any advice. Treated me like I did something wrong and was not helpful at all... I've found companies in Pheonix to be MUCH better than in Yuma. They looked at my RV on 1st of the month. Chris said he would call with an estimate. By the 5th I called him but he had nothing. I said that we could start on any item that's estimated. We don't need to wait for everything to get started. On the 9th I called again and he had nothing. Chris promised to call me back the next day. But by the 16th I had to call again. Chris said he finally had it, then immediately put me on hold for 10 minutes. I think he was frantically throwing together estimates when I was on hold. The cost of parts were off by up to 5x MSRP, some high and some low. Chris may have been on-point at one time but these days he's just coasting along. read more

Brought my Rv to them after getting a start date over a month before. Was told that he needed a week to make sure there was sufficient time to finish project. Agreed upon a price (to which I never objected). Would have paid more if necessary to cover all extras. He asked for $300 extra dollars for added material to which I paid. 5 days turned to 6. 6 turned into 7. Upon arrival they had cut an 18 inch by 18 inch hole in panel wall. Then put a door that wasn't even close in color let alone the same wood finish over the hole without even a phone call! Part of the repair required shower drain removal. Shower drain was broken and they put it back together with broken part. This in turn caused a leak. All in all they had my Rv for 11 days. Wall panel replaced. Plumbing replaced and still leaking! I'm done!! Avoid this repair facility at all costs....talks a mean line but can't follow through. read more

If you want to get service at this business and you have a really nice rig like mine and don't want it to get damaged, please read this. I am a full time RVer. Before service on my Leisure Travel Van on January 20, 2021, I called County RV Repairs and Sales to see if they knew how to install a rubber hinge on a small outside compartment door next to the entry door because a few other repair centers had declined the job for lack of expertise. Chris, the service manager said "Yes, we do these all the time!" I took the pictorial step-by-step instructions in another day to make sure he could do the job and he waved them away and said confidently he knew how to do it. In fact he had an opening to take me then at 2:30. Four hours later in the dark and rain they finished what Leisure Travel Van told me later should have taken 1/2 to 1 hour max. After 1 1/2 -2 hours I was told they would have to take my entry door off to get the rubber hinge on the cargo door. That was the only way they could do the job Chris said. (Leisure Travel Van told me later that the door absolutely did NOT need to be taken off!) In taking the door off Chris told me they would have to destroy the aluminum door trim around the door. Chris asked me to make the decision. It was getting dark, the cargo door was off, rain was coming. I already had accrued two hours in labor charges (and this is my home). I did not have the knowledge of what to do and the van company was closed for calls. What Chris should have done in retrospect is realize that he did not know how to approach this job and wait until the next day to research it. But I was put on the spot and later blamed by Chris for making the decision to take the door off (who is the "professional" here?). The door was extremely challenging for them to get off and it took much effort and a long time. The construction of this van was way beyond their knowledge base. They damaged the entry door in several places, misaligned to cargo door leaving a big gap on one side, and permanently damaged a rib on the wall in trying to figure out how to get the rubber hinge on the compartment door. To their credit, through their confusion and inabilities I was treated politely and two small jobs were completed while the hinge was being worked on. As the time ticked on, the darkness descended and light rain came, it was clear that this fiasco was going to cost me a lot of money. When settling the bill, Chris originally charged me 3 hours for the rubber hinge job - $390 - for what I later learned should have been a 1/2 to 1 hour job. We negotiated (my reasoning: his workers were often away somewhere and in my observation they spent a lot of time figuring out how to proceed). I stood my ground and he said he wanted to get home. So he settled for a 2 hour fee of $260. When I returned another day to tell him my distress at the damages done to my rig and to ask him how he could make this whole situation right, he listened to me up to a point then was VERY rude and unmoving in his repeated statement "You pay me the full amount charged first" (before he would even look at the damage and consider my request)". He tried shaming me when a swear word left my mouth in exasperation. If you go to this business I suggest you MAKE SURE they have experience with your repair. I am left with much costly damage, a $130 aluminum piece I have to buy and install and money paid to service men who ran up the bill with their lack of knowledge. If I had been Chris I would have READ THE INSTRUCTIONS and realized that I needed to know more before doing the job. At the very least I would have called the company the next day to get instructions before making a major move like taking my complex entry door off to slide a little rubber hinge on. Buyer beware. Review Part 2: Two months later I'm still dealing with the aftermath of County RV's "repairs". I had asked them to replace the rubber ring at the base of my toilet bowl. Literally a $13 part and probably 20 minutes of labor. Instead they decided too rip out my original toilet - without even asking me - and replace it with a cheap toilet that didn't even work. In that process they broke the flange that attaches the toilet to the floor so it started leaking in addition to not working. I then had to have someone else spend 1/2 a day replacing the flange and re-replacing the toilet so I had one that worked. And this is just one of the many issues I've had with this shop. This shop is filled with unskilled - and no doubt undocumented laborers. Seriously criminal. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED - GO ELSEWHERE!!! read more

On our travels to Glamis,Ca our 1995 Fleetwood RV had some issues with the on board generator not staying cranked. Well we must had call about 10 other so called RV repair places and none of them either could not repair our issue or even have a oil cap replacement. While the RV units are pretty standard Their service is one of the worst I have encountered in my 15 years of full time rving. Always promising a return telephone call they seem to think you will forget as they have never called back. This is not a case of just one service tech/manager as I have had to deal with several different personal at this dealership. I have left my units at their lot for repairs only to have to call or contact checking on the status. Never have repairs been completed as promised. read more

We were coming back to Yuma from a weekend outing in Phoenix when the hitch pin on our tow bar broke. The drag chains kept the car with the coach. We got off the road and stopped, but not before the car rammed the back of the coach. Our neighbor had some work done at County RV. We were pretty impressed. So, we took our coach there. The generator needed repair along with the body work. Chris Morales handled the whole thing and dealt with the insurance company. He turned the job in less than four days.
