Assuming the answer is not affirmative, whoever operated the route along Brenton Leaf Drive in Ruskin at approximately 5:11 p.m. today (September 9) drew plenty of attention, not exactly fans of loud music conveying what many deem epithets. No matter the lyrical verbiage, your company vehicle is an easy mark generating needless din, of which I am confident FedEx corporate would be less than thrilled about. We received information from the airline that our "delayed" bags were given to White Sands at…read moreapproximately 10 a.m. for delivery by 4:30 p.m. We called White Sands at 5:30 p.m. -- no bags yet -- and they refused to give us an updated delivery time or even ETA. They denied that they had been in possession of the bag since 10 a.m. They also refused to contact the driver who they claimed had the bags, or give us the number so that we could do so. Someone was clearly not telling us the truth about something. Strongly suspect they subcontract with drivers who are not reliable. Why do they need to keep the bag owners happy? The "customer," after all, is the airline paying them to do the job, not the owner. I've had pizza delivery that was more reliable. So we are sitting here -- still no bags -- and my husband needs his suitcase for a business trip early in the morning. Thanks, White Sands -- bang up job! Update: bags delivered 24 hours after landing. Airline policy is that delivery must be made by the courier within 6 hours. Max time from airport to our house is under 2 hours. Creepy Driver shows up at midnight reeking of cigarette smoke and starts taking photos of my house when I refuse to sign release form, griping about how he had to deliver 18 bags today. Horrid experience.
