Overall she started out a little laid back and then really pulled thru in the last 5 days. My furniture did arrive with minor damage. I could see the potential damage from the pictures they sent me but I figured they were the professionals and I shouldn't question their many years of experience. The damage was done by placing the 4 chairs on top of the dining room table that was upside down. The chair legs scratched the outsides of the dining room table. Also a 2 inch chunk was chipped off the dining room cabinet. I was disappointed but glad my furniture made it in overall very good condition. It was the first time I hired long distance carriers. They could improve a little on packing and protecting.

Based on this situation a violation was issued to me due to the condition of the property. I am not posting this because of the violation; it is valid based on the photos I have seen. I am posting this because the envelope in which the "NOTICE OF NON-COMPLIANCE" came in had the words "CRIMINAL" on the front, above and to the left of the address window. This I take issue with as a veteran and former law enforcement officer. I have never been a CRIMINAL; a non-compliance property violation sure does not make me one either. The envelope from the "Clerk of Court and Comptroller" with CRIMINAL above the address window caused my young son to ask if I was a CRIMINAL when he brought the mail in. Any parent who is not a CRIMINAL should not have to have that conversation with their child. Is this a tactic used by Santa Rosa county to get these types of issues resolved? It sure does seem that way. Defamation of my character in this petty, ridiculous manner is a much worse violation than a Non-Compliance Notice violation, which is a non-criminal matter.

My husband went to this place to return a package via Fedex, he had the barcode on his phone. The woman working there said they do not have a scanner, and they would charge 2.00 if he emailed the address. How is this a "Fedex" location, and they can't even scan a barcode. The price for an actual P.O. box may be a little cheaper in Pensacola, at least in my case because there would be no initial key fee but the customer service and attention to detail more than make up for the measly monetary difference. I'm sure with the way everything has been so far that there will no problem and that the service will remain excellent. I would highly recommend checking this place for all your packaging needs because they do so much more than just give you a mailbox.
