Review Highlights - Perdido Pack & Ship

Since there's no post office on the west side, this is the go-to place for mailing, shipping and supplies.

I arrived 20 minutes before close and Tracey was so kind and generous. She made a hard day feel better!

This is not a review of this story but rather UPS as a while, especially its tracking system…read more With a recent deliver, tracking said delivery would be between 10:45 and 1:45, so I planned my day around that. At 11 am the map showed the truck about a mile south of my house, so I assumed my delivery would be shortly. Then it showed the truck on my street, so I'm sure delivery is imminent. Next time I check the map the truck is back south of my house, further away than it was before. Site says delivery time has changed to "before 9 pm." Now we're past 1:45, so I check the map again and it shows the truck is back on my street, so I'm looking out the window waiting. Next time I check it the truck icon is 3 miles north of my house and the delivery time is changed to "before 7 pm." Then the truck logo is a mile west of my house, then back on my street, then two miles north again. Package was finally delivered at 7:30 pm. The next day the UPS store said that might have been because they wanted to deliver first to businesses that closed at 5, but most of the places I saw the truck were in residential neighborhoods. Why can't the truck just deliver in a straight line? Seems like it would save time and fuel instead of being -- literally -- all over the map. I would never use UPS as a shipper but as a recipient I have no choice.
