I have frequented this dry cleaner, several times in the past several years. It used to be such a good place,very friendly people Quality was spot on. I have given it a few tries in the past year and have been disappointed with the quality and service. I picked up several items and was charged more than expected and questioned why they charged me for a dress and not a shirt. The gentleman that assisted me said you'll have to call Tonya back. I said, but this is a shirt and he said I don't have any control over that? I did not have time to dispute it. I then took a queen down comforter, and I was told it would take a week to get it back,which I understand. I was text within two hours of leaving saying it was ready. I said what happened to the week out. She said oh I had time to do it today. I questioned if it was professionally done and she said OK. I will send it downtown and have it done??? I also had a five dollar coupon taken off at drop off. Tonya said when I went to pick up the item that the five dollar coupon was not honored. Both Tonya and April were very rude and as a matter of fact and not customer service friendly, I will take my dry cleaning elsewhere. read more

Stopped in on Tuesday, Aug 27 at 6:48 pm. Sign says the store is open until 7pm, but it was locked up, lights were off, and nobody came when I knocked (loudly) on the door. Management might want to address leaving early with the employee(s) who were supposed to be working until 7pm on August 27th. If you have a land line in the store, I have a suggestion. Require whoever is supposed to work until 7pm to call you at 7pm from the store land line. That way, you know they did not leave early... read more

Second time I took a king duvet cover to be cleaned. First time when I got home I found dirty footprints on it and wrinkles that had been iron permanently. Cost to me about $34.00. Returned this year to try again with same duvet. Picked up yesterday. Charge $60.00!! read more

I'm glad I'm the first to Yelp about this place, so we begin with the truth, and not get any further. O! Look I move to Indianapolis and around the corner is a dry-cleaner...walking distance...around the corner, too. How quaint, how nostalgic this place seemed. I went ahead and gave them all! my dress shirts. Welp...that was a mistake. If my clothes were a character in a movie they'd be Monica Belucci in Irreversible. Take a look at that photo uploaded, and, yeah, you'll notice my shirt -- every single shirt -- was stamped, permanently! WHAT! I've had my clothes dry-cleaned from Kansas to California and no one has ever stamped my clothes! They actually iron on your name and address to organize them. For some reason they haven't been told about any other possibility, huh? I throw a fit in the store and they reply, "Well...we've been doing this for forty years!" He went on to say, "well...it's on the tail..." Ummm...I tuck my shirts in when? Oh that's right...I don't...so there's my name on my clothes...thanks Mom for reminding me whose shirt it is. I came to your establishment with high recommendations from fellow colleagues. After a couple of attempts at trying to fix the mistake of others at no charge to me, I greatly appreciated the generosity of the attempts. When I brought the garment back in for a third time and offered to paid for it, I was met with attitude from the guy at the front counter. I LOVE this dry cleaner, have been using them for the past 7 years, they have friendly and helpful staff and know how to treat delicate fabrics. They let you know when to expect your order, and I always find it ready for me. I especially like their eco-friendly green fabric bags, you can put your dirty dry cleaning in it, and get back your clean dry cleaning in the same bag (so you don't have to wrestle with the clear plastic ones). I also like that our name is labled on it, so I can leave it on the counter on a busy morning. Check them out, you will be glad you did. read more

Had an issue at our house involving a water pipe that allowed for limited, and I do mean, limited water usage for over a week. We needed to get some laundry done, and as an RN who is currently dealing with very ill patients during this difficult health crisis, I decided to take advantage of Tide Cleaners offering free laundry for First Responder's. I really like this place! The gentleman who helped me when I first dropped off our laundry was super nice, and so friendly and helpful. I had everything sorted and ready for them, and couldn't believe how things were returned when we picked them up. Items that we just wash normally were dried cleaned. My husband was told that that is normal for some items, so that is what was done. Wasn't expecting to see that. For having to use a cleaner's for multiple loads of laundry, something that we normally do if water wasn't an issue, this was a pleasant experience and I will definitely be using for my real dry cleaning in the future! read more

Admittedly the cleaning was done quickly and well, but when I got the silk scarf I had dry cleaned home, I found that a tag with my name had been safety pinned into the scarf, permanently leaving pin holes in one of the corners, which has never been done at any other establishment I've taken things to be cleaned. I will not be going back and risk damage to more of my clothes. read more

I don't have a ton of dry cleaning needs but when I do they are conveniently located along my daily commute, friendly and efficient when I am in the shop, and responsive to feedback when there is an issue. When one pays for a service you have a right to expect good service. When you don't you; you raise the issue; but apparently at this establishment they don't like hearing customer complaints. After having my clothes mutilated by them 3 times ( buttons ripped off pants, "folded" shirts shoved into a bag, asked for folded come on hangers); I was told that this store "doesn't like my kind'. I recently dropped off 4 dresses and 1 light jacket. I should have taken it as a sign he rushed checking it in and didn't bother to ask if there was anything he needed to do, I made sure to point out a couple stains on the dresses and jacket but I could tell he wasn't very attentive. When I picked them up the 3 out of 4 dresses were not cleaned at all and the jacket stain wasn't even attempted to have been removed. Needless to say for the $60 I spent it was not worth the money! To top it off the one dress that was actually cleaned was snagged and ruined! I will not be returning and would not recommend to anyone read more

Took in a brand new 1818 Brooks Brothers suit (retail over $1,000) into Meridian Heights Cleaners to be dry cleaned after it was worn once. When I picked it up, it had multiple holes in the fabric and is unwearable. They said it is due to faulty fabric. Will never return to Meridian Heights Cleaners. read more

I brought a down comforter in to be washed the day after Labor Day (Tuesday) and was told it would be ready the following week on Wednesday. I went in on Wednesday to pick it up and the lady working there said they were still running behind and to come back on Friday. I went back Friday morning and was again told that it wouldn't be ready until after 5:00. It was finally ready that evening. I made a bunch of trips only to be told to come back later. They did a wonderful job cleaning the comforter, I just wish they had a better idea on when the item(s) would be finished. I'll give them another chance and hopefully their estimates will be more accurate. read more

This cleaner has changed hands recently. I don't know about men's shirts; I don't use them. The establishment used to be quirky but personal. It is now less quirky, but it still makes a good attempt to treat people as valued customers. They now issue receipts for clothes, and track your items by computer. The quality of the cleaning has always been, and continues to be, excellent. read more

We received a "Free" $10.00 dry cleaning bag in our front door. Well, let's try them out we thought. (Even though they failed to heed the "no soliciting" sign on our door. Should have seen the writing on the wall there). We put a single sweater in the bag. It came back a week later with a second EMPTY hanger and an invoice for 1 items at no cost and a second item at about $7.00. Well we only gave them 1 item. We called and emailed and NEVER received a response from either. Finally we paid the $7.00. Simply not worth the headache. They are simply dishonest thieves. They invoiced us incorrectly and then failed to correct the problem give multiple chances. Finally, we just gave in. Sounds to me as if it is a premeditated plan to scam people out little amounts of money that they won't fight over. read more

I, too, have gone around and around with the iron-on patches that have my name and address on them. THey won't stop putting them on my clothing, and they won't remove the patches once they are on. I tried to remove them myself, but have been unsuccessful without damaging my garments. I have been a loyal customer of Meridian Heights for nearly 16 years--and since our last move north, it is a destination Dry Cleaner for us. While I dislike the patches, I have yet to find a Dry Cleaner that does such consistent, quality work. read more
