I hired Elite Landscaping in late September 2025 to perform a full sprinkler inspection and repair…read moreany broken or misaligned components throughout my property. During the initial walkthrough, Ernesto suggested converting my backyard drip system to an above-ground sprinkler system. I agreed to this upgrade. Ernesto brought a crew to perform the work but left them unsupervised. The project took two days, and I was later informed via text that the job had been completed. Upon returning home, I found my backyard in shocking, unacceptable condition. The black lava rock in my in-ground and raised flower beds had been buried beneath dirt or scattered in piles throughout the yard. Some of my yard décor had also been damaged. When Ernesto returned that evening, he expressed surprise at the condition and acknowledged the work had not been completed properly. He subsequently had additional lava rock delivered and attempted to restore the backyard landscaping to its original form. In addition to the landscaping issues, his crew caused significant damage to my irrigation system. Multiple in-ground sprinkler valves were broken in both the front and backyard, and a water line was damaged, resulting in water flowing into the street. Ernesto requested that I pay for replacement of the valves, which I refused, as the system was fully functional prior to his team beginning work. He later returned to repair several underground leaks that had resulted from the installation. In late February or early March 2026, I discovered that none of the backyard sprinklers--including those servicing the grass and flower beds--were functioning. Due to recent rainfall, the issue was not immediately apparent. When I notified Ernesto, he claimed the issue was due to a faulty timer and suggested I would need to pay for a replacement. I declined, as the system had been fully operational prior to his involvement. As of today, March 27, 2026, I have now confirmed that the system is improperly functioning in the front and backyard areas, including all of the flower beds. Many sprinkler heads are either overspraying well beyond intended areas or spraying in the wrong direction entirely. Additionally, the system design is causing excessive water pooling in several areas due to improper sprinkler head selection and placement. As a result, I have been forced to hire a new landscaping and irrigation company to redesign and repair the entire system in both the front and backyard. For the record, I only paid 50% of the original quoted amount, which, given the extent of the damage and incomplete work, and that I now have to pay a "qualified" business to restore everything, was an amount more than the value of the services Elite Landscaping provided.

They showed up on time, were professional, respectful, and worked hard the whole time they were here. They installed a clean above-ground 8-station sprinkler valve manifold system for me, replaced valves, repaired irrigation lines, installed a newer Rain Bird smart controller that can be managed from a phone, fixed plumbing issues, and adjusted the sprinkler system so everything worked much better. Everything was organized well and much easier to access for future maintenance. What I appreciated most was that Joseph went above and beyond what was originally included in the bid. They replaced an old hose pipe and spigot that weren't working anymore at no extra charge, and they also replaced a few additional sprinkler heads for me without charging extra. That kind of honesty and customer service is hard to come by these days. The work came out clean and professional, and Joseph was easy to communicate with throughout the process. We really liked the work they did installing a solid patio cover at the neighbors house and we were in the market for a patio cover ourselves so we decided to use Perfect Home Bakersfield. Their salesman, Alex, came out and quoted us for the patio cover and we placed the order. After the initial quote I called to make a few changes. I called multiple times asking to get an updated quote on the price and I was never given one. At one point, the receptionist knew I needed to talk with the manager, Manuel, about my question and she tried to transfer me to him three times, but he refused to speak with me. On the day of install the two-man crew showed up on time and completed the install in one day. Phew! In the hot Bakersfield summer we were so happy to have shade and the patio looks great! But they left a mess. They blew small bits of trash, nails, screws, and aluminum shavings into our lawn and flowerbeds. We have small children whom they met that morning. My kids like to go barefoot in the backyard and they couldn't! They also forgot to finish the install of the ceiling fans; the decorative cover that sits flush with the ceiling was left hanging on the fan motor. When I called to pay and finally find out the changes made to my estimate the numbers seemed off. After further discussion, I was told that the cost of the rain gutters had been left off the original estimate. I called the salesman and the front office at least 3 times each asking for more information on my quote and I was given the runaround every time I called. They all just passed the buck to the manager who refused to speak with me. It wasn't until my patio was installed that they finally spoke with me about the price again and raised it by $600! They were the lowest price in town for a patio cover, but I was quite disappointed in their service. Buyer beware.
