Stayed here recently, and omg what and experience !! So I did not know that they only clean the Rooms every other day ! I'm paying for a full stay therefore I want my room cleaned and bed made my entire Stay !! Then if I have Already paid on Priceline or hooper why are you even charging me ? Brittney was great and helpful along side Gia I think her name is both ladies were really nice but I don't recommend! And I will be going cooperate also also only one elevator was working. read more

I walked in with my reservation and confirmation number in hand with the quoted price on it, there was even an answer to a question I had asked on the reservation email. Even though I had that information they could not find my reservation. They had a room available for over 200 dollars more than my quoted price. If they agree to allow others to make reservations for them they should honor the reservation and price. Management was useless to help with this situation. In addition to this, the TV in my room did not work and the water in the shower took way too long to heat up, just when I decided to take a quick cold shower the water began to warm up. From the time I walked in this was my worst hotel experience ever. I will say that some of the people who work there were pleasant. read more

My uncle is a Marriott Titanium member and got my boyfriend, 3 yo daughter, and I a room for two nights while we were visiting GA from LA for a family reunion. Our stay was very pleasant. The hotel and the room were very nice! The staff was even nicer! I was quite impressed and grateful for how friendly and accommodating the staff was honestly! Really wish they had a tub in the room, but not a big deal at all. Amenities were convenient and nice as well. The room was clean and decor was pretty! My daughter got to sleep on the spacious couch/lounge included and she loved it! My boyfriend and I were so comfy in the bed! I also loved that we could control the room temp with an actual thermostat. The location was awesome too. A few restaurants and a Sam's conveniently located right around the hotel. One thing I loved even more: we packed up, checked out, left, and got around a half hour down the road when I realized I had forgotten my rings in the bathroom. I called and was directed to housekeeping. After a brief hold, she got my name and number and checked the room. She then called me back saying thankfully that she found them! She left them at the front desk. We got back and I got them back. I was SO incredibly grateful for their pure kindness and hospitality. I HIGHLY recommend!! I have given this property multiple chances for my business, yet they consistently disappoint. On this particular stay the issues began right at the front desk at check-in. After a long 19 hour drive my wife selected a plain bottle of water from the marketplace. I asked the desk person if she could comp me as a Lifetime Titanium Elite. She said "no, I have to charge you for that because our comp elite member bottles of water are half bottles." I then asked for a half bottle and she replied, "we are out of those!" I was disappointed they couldn't comp a bottle of water but I was getting nowhere with my reasoning and was tired, so I let it go. When I opened the door to the room it was cold and had a pet odor to it. The first thing I noticed was the bed was messed up. It had the appearance that someone had slept in it and it wasn't quite made up. Knowing that a request for a bottle of water blew the front desk's mind we figured they would never send housekeeping at that late hour, so my wife and I elected to sleep on a couch and a chair. In the morning after little to no sleep I opened the curtains to find one window completely cracked. This presents an unsafe situation should kids ever be in the room. In the bathroom I found black mold on the ceiling above the shower, empty shampoo dispensers and a flawed sink. I have pictures of all this issues and will post them on social media since there is no option to attach them here. I discussed all these issues with the General Manager the next morning. She seemed concerned and apologetic and promised to investigate them. She also insisted that she provide some restitution for the unacceptable stay. Unfortunately, her actions do not follow her words. Just like the last time I experienced an issue at this property I have had to reach back out to her multiple times over a two-week period to see where her promised restitution is, to no avail. I've stayed at my fair share of courtyards and this one, unfortunately, ranks towards the bottom. Here's why: - The fitness center: It might as we'll be nonexistent. One of two treadmills was broken, there were no towels, and it was incredibly stuffy - The bistro: I brought some veggies with me so ordered fries which were described to come with three dipping sauces - sriracha ketchup, garlic aioli, and green goddess ranch. I got an order of fries (to go) and got to my room with the gourmet dipping sauces of two ketchup packets, two yellow mustard packets, and one mayo packet. While normally that wouldn't bug me, I paid $25 for a glass of wine and fries. - Staff: Significant variability...Some are absolutely lovely, some are indifferent. Overall, my stay was fine. I am glad it was only for one night, though. read more

I won a free dinner for two at the bistro here from a raffle and my boyfriend and I decided to use it tonight. I was a little wary when we walked in and only saw one guy at the bar, but my concerns were quickly assuaged. It ended up being a fantastic evening. We could not have been more pleased! Sabrina was absolutely fantastic! She greeted us when we arrived, thanked us for coming, talked us through the menu and made great suggestions (definitely get the French fries!). He got the hamburger with French fries and a Diet Pepsi, and I got the herb chicken with arugula, tomatoes, and broccolini with a bottled green tea. Both meals were fantastic, especially the fries and the broccolini! They were especially bomb! Before leaving Sabrina thanked us again for coming to see them, and encouraged us to come back anytime to eat, drink, or even just hang out in their many seating areas or patio. I can't wait to come back, this is such a fantastic place, even though I'm a local and don't need to stay in the hotel, it seems like such a nice low key place grab a coffee or snack and hang out or get some work done. read more

The Courtyard by Marriott is a beautiful hotel. When you first walk into the lobby you're warmly greeted by the hotel staff and immediately see a Starbucks bar located across the room. This location has meetings rooms that allow for large groups. There is an inside pool, workout center, and laundry facility. This location is next door to a Sams Club, Logans Roadhouse, and shopping center on the main road. Located minutes from I-75 with the Atlanta Hartsfield Airport is about 30 minutes away. read more

On our way to fl. Stopped here for a night. Check in super easy, room was clean and nice. Went to lobby next morning for coffee only to find out that you have to pay for everything even a cup of coffee. I wish the receptionist would've shared that with us when she said breakfast is served at 6:30 AM. Also, just being picky the lobby was subzero cold. Is there no one to control the AC when it's only 30 outside. Then our keys were deactivated so we had to come back down to the lobby. The receptionist could've cared less for that inconvenience. read more

I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice friendly place celebrate with family. First, we made reservations in April/May 2023 for a Family Reunion. I talked with the hotel several times and not one time was I told the pool was closed and has been closed for a while. We found the day we arrived. Being I was the one who handle the reservations, I was blamed by family for not telling them the pool was closed. People traveled from Philadelphia, Florida and other states to fine out pool closed. I have a problem with lack of communication. Then told after the fact that the staff had shopped to get toys for the kids to play with since the pool was closed but we were never offered and accommodations for the kids. We should have been given the opportunity to decide if the pool was a breaker, and it was. Some family members arrived and found out from other family members the pool was closed so they went elsewhere. We were given no accommodations at all. We were treated as if we were at Motel 6. They left the lights on and that's it. Check out other reviews before staying at this place. Our reunion was great except for accommodations. Never at this place again. Also I called Tameka Grant, manager, several times and left her at least three voice messages, as of this day, she has not acknowledged my calls. Is this how management roll? Corporate needs a house checkup in management. read more

Seriously! Before my review The Bistro at Courtyard by Marriot has 4-1/2 stars on 4 review? Do these reviewers normally consider McDonald's a 5 star experience. 4-1/2 stars means mostly fours and somebody threw in a five. This was not a bad dining experience, it just isn't anything special. It is just a simple bistro in a hotel lobby with your standard breakfast fare and later in the day soups, sandwiches and flatbreads. There are no signature items or anything that makes this a go to spot. I would imagine the only patrons are the guests of the Courtyard. You order at the counter from a friendly staff, grab a number, have a seat and a few minutes later they deliver your meal to your table on a real plate with real eating utensils. They do add the appropriate accompaniments for your meal (butter and jelly with toast, raisins and brown sugar for the oatmeal, etc). I had breakfast on two consecutive days because it was convenient in the hotel. Both meals were good and fresh but nothing special. read more

When we checked in the gal was very helpful, the second night our key wouldn't work so we had to go to the front counter an the new gal on duty that night said oh you have no card on file how is that when we have one the previous day? Then the air conditioner hake a awful sound all night mode you I'm in Georgia for work, the bathroom light is out only the lamp in that restroom works, no maid service from the previous day just all around one of the worse Marriott I've stayed in. read more

I stayed at this hotel because I had water break in my home. The hotel staff was so hospitable and courteous. The breakfast team had Starbucks coffee and wonderful delights on the menu. They have a sunrise platter that is to die for. The rooms were spacious and super clean with hotel ammentimes such inside pool, lounge area, gym, computers and printers on sight and outside deck sitting area. Would strongly recommend your stay here for business or pleasure! Overall 100% satisfied. read more

Had a restful and quick 1-night stay. Room was super clean and beds were very soft. Only negatives: the pillows were all very soft. I wish they had some firm options. Also, while I appreciate the conservancy of the low-flow toilet, it didn't flush very well - or completely. All in all - good quick stay for the weary traveler. Drove 9 hours from Indianapolis to McDonough. This hotel is gorgeous! The housekeepers are extremely personable and polite..the layout and amentities were up to par. Our suite was veru spacious and clean & I very much enjoyed the courtyard and room. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars, is due to the slightly rude service we received at check-in from the gentlemen on duty. It was a small issue with printing put the reservation.. his demeanor and impatience was quite frustrating and offputting.. So I was frustrated initially, but the remainder of our 5 day stay, was just about perfect! Customer service is so important, so even with the mishap with the front desk attendent, I would definitely stay here again! read more

We are here for 4 days for a girls soccer tournament and that number of kids and families can take a toll on a hotel staff -- think being asked for a duplicate key by 100 13 year old girls, per day. But, this group is pretty special -- friendly, helpful and patient. The hotel is your standard Courtyard - nice, clean, comfortable, but the staff is what makes it. The management and employees of this place should be complimented and proud of the customer service they provide. read more

I walked through the lobby this morning and was greeted by my first name by the lady that checked me in three days ago. Clean rooms great housekeeping staff. Good food at the bistro. Stayed for the weekend. At softball games all day and hung out on the back patio at night. Thought it was a great place until we checked out. They charged us an additional $250 because they claimed we had a dog in our room. We have 3 dogs from 45 to 60 lbs. we have FB posts from the woman dog sitting. Our daughter brought her blanket from home and they said there were some dog hairs on the bed. They basically called us liars. There is no way I'm taking almost 200 lbs of dogs to an out of town tournament. Now it will be 5-7 days to get our money back. Plus it's a card we just use for hotels so we received and over the little mit charge as well. If you own pets - wash your clothes, put them in an air tight container and don't pet them before you leave!!! It might cost you double to stay here! read more

Rude front desk staff I made a reservation for my mother and aunt to stay, but the reservation was in my name. I have done this numerous times. When my mother called the hotel to tell them she would be later arriving, the woman at the front desk was rude in explaining that I had to let them know she was checking in under my reservation. I messaged the hotel to inform them of my mother's name and that she would be checking in. The hotel never messaged me back and told my mother when she checked in that they don't use the messaging system. Why would Marriott put a message feature on the app if you don't use it? My husband and I went to Italy this summer, and I messaged the hotel frequently with many questions. Despite the time difference, the hotel messaged me back promptly! When my mother and aunt arrived at this hotel, the man at the front desk was very rude when my mother wanted to go ahead and pay with cash. We all understand the need for a credit card for "incidentals," but the guy informed my mother he was placing a $100 hold on her card which would be reversed in a few days. When she asked why, he finally lowered it to $20. Then he proceeded to make the statement that my mother must not travel much or check into hotels frequently. My mother called me upset about these comments, and I was furious!! My mother asked him exactly what damage he thought 70 year old women were going to do. The comment about "lack of experience" checking into a hotel is quite laughable as we take trips at least monthly. In fact, she and I are going to New York City in March. Whether it was her first or millionth time checking into a hotel there is NO need for such a comment. As a Marriott Gold member and Lifetime Silver Elite member, many of my accrued nights have involved taking my mother with me. I have never been insulted in such a manner. When I looked closer at the reviews of this hotel after this incident, I saw ours was not an isolated case of front desk rudeness. I expect way more from Marriott. I will continue to be a loyal Marriott customer, but I will never book this hotel again. Stay away from the rudeness and find another Marriott! The manager and Marriott International will be hearing from me. read more

Tried to check in after driving all day. Received a room on the 4th floor.... after three trips to the front desk for new keys we found out the room was occupied. The gentleman helping us was rude and non apologetic. After wasting 30 minutes just trying to get into a room we told him to cancel our reservation, this was met with a dirty look and protesting. I certainly did not feel the love being a Marriott Gold Member. I would steer very far away from this place. read more

I stayed at the courtyard by Marriott Atlanta McDonough for my daughter's softball tournament. The hotel was modern and clean. The bistro in the hotel had delicious food. However, the customer service was horrible. They would not give us extra pillows. I stayed there two nights and they never cleaned our room. They never replaced our towels or changed our sheets. And when I told them about it they just said 'sorry' and we will notify the cleaning team. They would not give us a credit. I will not stay here again. read more
