I have stayed at this location several times. The customer service has always been great, with the front desk staff being friendly and always willing to provide good recommendations on local eateries. It has always been a clean place to stay with a hot breakfast (not continental) in an area that is near the highway. There are also a ton of shopping and food places within a mile. Easy check in, the suite was large, clean, the bed is insanely comfortable we literally melted. We heard a train when we first sat down but neither of us heard it again till we were checked out and outside the hotel. The hotel was very clean. I will say I wish the free breakfast would go to 10am this is a complaint I have with all hotels. Or offer a breakfast option like cereals, oatmeal, easy items for guests that check in late at night. This disgusting hotel does not deserve the Marriott name. We booked a suite with a sleeper sofa to accommodate a 5th person. Upon arrival, we literally pulled out the bed to discover a brown stained mattress with zero bedding. Tried to call down for a replacement mattress just to discover the room phone to the front desk doesn't work. Had to go down to the lobby to get our bedding and sadly no replacement mattress was available so one of us had to sleep on a towel covered brown stain! We also found the carpet was not vacuumed because we literally found 2 sharp screws, 2 bolts, a broken drill bit and a staple on the carpet. Thankfully nobody cut their feet on the sharp objects! We had soccer games in Hampton GA this weekend and had reservations at this location. At 530PM we arrived at the Inn to find out that we didn't have a room because they overbooked. Once again we made the reservation two weeks ago. There was no real explanation or any type of resolution. So after a long day of soccer and being hot, hungry, and tired we were left to find a place ourselves. Unreal!!! Very unprofessional. Thank goodness for Westin by the airport. It was way out of way and ended up with a late dinner and late showers. In fact not sure my daughter even showered because we had an early match. read more

Beware! Just had a disgusting revelation that because of Covid they are no longer cleaning the rooms or replacing the sheets. Discovered this upon opening the refrigerator and finding someone else's leftover food. After calling down the front desk finally admitted because of short staff they are not coming into the rooms for more than rearranging. It's disturbing to think of what could have happen on the sheets they apparently aren't cleaning or changing. Help stayed at this location a half-dozen times over the past 5 years and I've always found it to be an excellent choice. Rooms have always been clean, beds comfortable, water pressure and temperature reliable. Service has always been friendly and breakfast better than average. Common areas are attractive and inviting. That consistency in itself justifies my high rating. It is also centrally located in an area with walking access to shopping and restaurants. Has easy access off of the interstate. I spent less than 8 hours on this property so I can't say that I experienced all of Fairfield's amenities. Than being said the bed and the office chair both worked flawlessly. The bathroom was clean and supplied an endless supply of hot water.....endless might be a bit too strong of a word. Didn't bother to eat breakfast there because the Fairfield breakfast is one of the worst around. I'm sure the franchise owners don't have much say so in who supplies their food but someone needs to let corporate know. read more

This hotel has very easy access from the interstate which a huge plus for a tired traveler. The staff is super friendly and helpful! We had a big post graduation family crowd and they went out of their way to accommodate everyone. Nice! The rooms have an added sleeping feature in the form of a pullout love seat size sofa which is incredibly helpful when you are distributing sleeping spaces for teenagers or adults. The free breakfast was a huge hit as well. Everyone starts the day better when they are full and happy! Don't miss this stop coming or going from Atlanta! read more

It's just like any other Fairfield. The rooms are clean and well appointed. There are free cookies in the lobby in the afternoons, and there is the pantry with tons of ridiculously salted microwave entrees and other choice junk foods. The breakfast is free. If you're into breakfast pastries, juice, packaged oatmeal and fruit, you'll be fine. If you're like me and a tad more selective, you'll stop at the nearby Cracker Barrel, where you can get real oatmeal (or what appears to be real oatmeal). The walls are thin, so if anything, you know that you're never alone. Great choice for a solid sleep over. read more

After making reservations at another Marriott hotel and finding they were overbooked- we found a room here. The rooms were updated and met our needs for a place to rest for the night that was safe and comfortable enough. Nothing overwhelming to just make you need to stay here again but, it was a good night sleep. The room was comfortable with adequate space and furnishings. They had updated with idocks and flat screens (expected in 2015). The beds were not to my liking..they are hard. The bathroom water presuire is the other reason.it was awful...like trikling out. I get saving water but I can't deal with needing 10 minutes to fully wash my long hair. I also was really looking forward to a nice hot shower to ease my aching body after a long drive...I did not get that here. The linens, towels, pillows were all typical. Free breakfast was what you would expect- meh. We ended up grabbing McD breakfast and used the free breakfast for some quick fruit and cereal to tide the kids over until we got out of the room. Now the front desk service when we checked in was phenomenal, Larissa encompasses everything you would expect and more from Marriott. SHE WAS AMAZING!!!! She made everything so much better and heck, I may be rating based on her CS somewhat because I honestly can't see myself choosing to stay here again (unless left without other Marriott options) with many better Marriott's in the Atlanta area. Anyway, her service was phenomenal-so helpful, friendly, warm and just made our night better. All in all, it is a decent hotel but there are better options. I personally would not chose to stay here again for the lack of water pressure mainly. read more

I originally planned to stay here for a three week business trip. After checking in, showering and preparing for the next day I flip the sheets back to check the mattress and you guessed it, bed bugs. I found roughly 30 red blotches on the side of the mattress. I immediately call the front desk and they offered an "upgraded suite" and $4 in quarters to wash three weeks worth of my clothes, not dry clean my suits. The new room and the $4 did not help me sleep through the night. They did not offer to treat my suitcases like the Holiday Inn Express does but instead suggested that I throw my $300 set in the trash lol. Not an option... When I spoke to the real manager about feeling uncomfortable after being in the suite, he tried to reassure me by saying housekeeping checks and flips the mattresses daily to check for things that may "injure guests or the housekeeping themselves". If that was the case, how did bed bugs end up leaving 30+ blood marks in the first mattress? I ended up leaving the hotel after the conversation with him. Upon returning home for the weekend, guess what? I spot bed bugs crawling out of my suitcase and onto the floor. Thankfully I had some pretty strong bug spray to treat the suitcases. The features of the hotel weren't even that nice. Tiny pillows, 50 basic channels, bathroom appliances could be upgraded, and finally my case of bed bugs. I hope management sees this and works on some compensation and accommodation policy. read more

I have been trying to go to sleep here for 3 hours now. The hotel allowed adults to leave at least 6 unnattented kids under 12 alone in the room next to mine since 8pm, it is now 1am. They have been inneffective at dealing with these kids, or locating thier parents. The kids won't tell them where they are. We asked the kids very nicely to quiet down twice before involving the front desk. Because of business travel I have spent more than 2000 nights in hotels in the last 10 years. From low end properties like super8 and motel 6 all the way up to high end boutique hotels. This is hands down the single worst experience I have ever had with noisy neighbors. Let's face it, it happens sometimes. However, this Marriott property couldn't even handle a room full of ten year olds. They are still making tons of noise in there and the hotel has been unwilling and/or unable to handle this matter professionally. I would avoid this particular property like the plague. read more

I just had an excellent experience at this Fairfield Inn. Yes, as far as layout, design, comfort etc., it is what you would expect from any Fairfield property. However, the customer care I received from Crystal upon my check-in and the service offered by the room servicing staff member, Dan were exceptional. I felt very welcomed and my group of 17 was well accommodated by the hotel staff. All other staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant as well. read more

This is by far the WORST Fairfield I have ever stayed at. If I could rate less than one star, I would. Lets start with the surly attitude of the male desk clerk at check in, who didn't bother to acknowledge me other than to take my reservation print out, DL, & CC, hand me my key cards and say "Here's your key" before ignoring me again. Our room was on the first floor next to the conference room. The was also apparently a kids/teen team staying there as well. These kids spent the entire time we were there running up and down the hall, screaming and screeching, and playing ball with each other and their parents in the lobby and hallway. The night clerk, Randy, was the only employee who tried to make them stop. Sunday morning, after barely sleeping due to the noise, we were woken up bright and early by the custodial staff vacuuming the conference room to prepare for the Revival Church Services that morning. Aside from Randy, we were greeted once with a "Welcome back," when we entered the main doors - when we came inside after putting a few bags in the car before leaving! When we checked out, I told the very defensive female desk clerk about the miserable experience and was met with a shrug & a giggle about the behavior of the kids, and the excuse, yeah, we had a team staying here, and asked why didn't I request a different room. Considering there was a no vacancy sign taped to the doors, I didn't know it was an option. She then told me they still had rooms on the 4th floor which were nice and quiet. So good to know at check out! She did offer to credit me the cost of the room for the prior night, which a week later still has not appeared on my credit card. You would think the staff being aware there was a team in the hotel, and church services scheduled in the conference room, would avoid placing uninvolved guests in the middle of the complete chaos going on. Another guest had her credit cards stolen out of her room, but the GM couldn't be bothered to come to the hotel to review the tapes for the guest and police. I guess I shouldn't be surprised she hasn't bothered to contact me regarding the subterranean service we received staying at her location, which was the 3rd Fairfield in 3 days. The room was in poor condition, including a sloppily repaired crack in the shower tile, no water pressure, a barely working toilet, slow draining shower, and a warm refrigerator. I gave this hotel 3 stars due to the decor of the place ..however there is much more wrong with the place. First off we were unable to check in due to a family member booking the room. She had to come to the hotel and show who she was to get us the room. Next we get to the room and the tolite was stopped up took the poor guy 20 mins to figure out what was wrong.now on to the fact the bed had a dip on the right hand side of the mattress that made it uncomfortable to sleep. Unfortunately, I wish I could say my experience was better but it was pretty much awful. Check-in was a breeze and rooms are modest, but clean. What really ruined it for me was a "computer error" that gave another guest the key to my room. I was getting ready to shower before heading out for dinner, when I heard someone open my door and walk in. This old lady walks in and rushes right back out. The front desk had given her my room and a key as well. I immediately called the front desk, incredulous, and they apologized profusely and took full responsibility, but if I had not been in the room at the time, or if that guest was not an honest person, they would have had full access to my belongings and could have easily taken anything they wanted. They tried to rectify the situation by offering a free room upgrade and a "reduced" rate for the room. I laughed and said that I didn't think I should even be paying a dime. They did comp the room and assured me that it would not happen again, but it's hard to feel safe at a place where a computer error could be this egregious. I'm a Hilton Diamond member and this experience makes me glad for it. This l, unfortunately, will be my last stay at a Fairfield Inn, and possibly other Marriott properties as well. read more

All I can say is this was a great place to stay. Ultra clean rooms, free shampoo and a kick-ass pool and spa experience (at least it was for me.) All the staff smiled and were pleasant-nobody with a case of the Mondays. (remember that line from Office Space?) Of course it wasn't Monday but people can have one of those days anytime. Jennifer, the staff member who handled my checkout, was up to the task and engaged me in conversation about what I liked and didn't like about the property. I also educated her about the YELP site, which she had never heard of. I told her she would get a nice write-up in my review. The free breakfast was sufficient for me but may be lacking for others. Coffee, juice, tea, milk, yogurt, b/f bisquits, waffles, cerial, oatmeal, bagels, bread, fruit and a few other things. If you just have to have your bacon & eggs, you'll need to go to a restaurant. I highly recommend this property. Be sure to ask for a room NOT overlooking the a/c condenser fans, which cycle 24/7 and can be a little disruptive. BTW-the Wi-Fi service is lame. So is the public computer. Their ISP is also lame. read more

For over 20 years i stayed at Marriott Hotels when I travel and it's a lot with kids that play traveling sports in Football, Volleyball and Basketball, I'm here for the Junior Liberty Bowl and Combine in Atlanta, this hotel by far was the worst I stayed in, the cleaning staff to me will be called Can't Get Rite, been here since Tuesday and Checking out on Monday, they haven't cleaned my room since we been here, I've been taking out the trash at night on my own, no fresh towels left in room because they said we had our do not disturb on door which was a LIE!!!!! so the next day I hid that sign behind the TV and when we came back guess what, the sign was on the door which meant they were in the room and did nothing, when I went downstairs for the 3rd time in 3 days to complain and ask for fresh towels they still had none so the nice lady on night shift gave me a key to a empty room to grab towels and wash clothes which I appreciated her for that, I had 2 towels for my family of 4 so I grabbed 2 towels from the pool area for my wife and I to use, on Friday night I asked for sheets so I can change beds myself, when I pulled the sheets off of the bed it was a large URINE STAIN!!!! with other similar stains on different spots of the bed so I slept on the floor while my wife and kids crammed on the bed ( 14 and 12 years old) asked to change rooms but it was Friday night and packed by then with Softball Teams too, thankfully I grabbed towels before that person checked into that room but now they had no towels, I'm to tired to finish my complaints but trust me I took pics and will send to higher ups, I liked the Marriot as a whole, Thank you to the nightshift workers that tried to help and could only do but so much but this location is at the bottom of the food chain for me, this makes me rethink about staying in a Hotel with the Marriott name posted up on it if the money is coming out of my pocket,,,,,,,,,, read more

Looks newly updated/renovated. Clean, what I always expect to find at Marriott properties. The desk people, Mariah and Candy, were very friendly, yet professional, and extremely helpful. We just happened to have had several requests, from restaurant choices to help printing a document. When the "guest" next door was loudly playing war video games, I picked up the phone, explained the problem, and within two minutes, the problem ended and stayed quiet. They met every request for service as though I was their most important guest, while managing incoming patrons in a friendly, efficient manner. Kudos! We would definitely stay there again! read more
