I have been staying at the Courtyard Marriott in Mishawaka since October 2025. I stay here four days a week for work. I continue to stay here every week because of the customer service of EVERYONE that works at that hotel. There are three front desk workers (Rosie Bostic, Jadaela, and Julie who are so kind and friendly everytime I check in, they always offer water and always check to ensure my favorite room is available. They also greet me by name every time I walk by the front desk multiple times a day. Crystal, Ashley, and Hudson always give me a gracious pour of my favorite Cabernet and offer very friendly conversation while I wait on my weekly food delivery. I notice throughout the week they are always having friendly conversation with anyone sitting at the bistro. I am going to lump Haley and Aaron (management) and Richard and Gionni (maintenance) together because anytime I have had an issue with heat in a room, they have worked swiftly to fix the issue or immediately move me to another room. This is a relatively old building so hvac issues are expected, but have only occurred twice in my 5 months of staying here weekly. Both have been heat not working in the room. Both times have been handled swiftly and with little inconvenience to me as the customer. Finally, I have stayed in at least 7 different rooms on the third floor including the suite and I will say every single room is always extremely clean. Yolanda, Bree, Estephany, and Amber are always cleaning the rooms when I am leaving or coming back to the hotel throughout the day. My schedule is pretty flexible so I will usually leave around 7:45 and I may return several times a day usually around 10:30, 1:30ish, and between 4-5. I have also forgotten my key several times and they are always accommodating with getting me a replacement key. The housekeeping staff is always either on the elevator with cleaning supplies going to a floor or they are on the third floor with the door open cleaning a room. I usually do not use their services throughout the week because I am pretty tidy, but if I have needed something like an extra towel or an additional wash cloth, they are always prompt with getting me what I need. This review wouldn't be complete without mentioning Kameli who has been an excellent sales manager for my work account. She ensures my corporate rate is always applied to my weekly reservation and she gave me a lovely customer gift during the holiday season. Everyone at the Courtyard Marriott in Mishawaka has made traveling for work much more enjoyable and I will be sad when this assignment ends and I have to move on from this lovely staff. read more

This is my first time staying at this hotel. It's conveniently close to many places to eat and only minutes from the university mall, which is nice. There's lots of parking and a smooth process for check-in, and the price makes it even better. There's lots of seating in the lobby area. With a big screen TV, booths are over to the side with a small private TV for viewing. The elevator is over to the left from the front desk. It was not complicated to find the room, and seeing the ice machine before finding my room was a bonus for me, even in this cold. I liked that the floor was nice and clean, with no bad smell as you searched for your room. The room is a little outdated, but it was nice and clean, so that's a plus, with the basic body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap complimentary. I like the size of the couch and table in the room, including the desk and the TV, with a few drawers to store your clothing. The closet is a good size with an ironing board, extra hangers, a pillow, and a blanket. I had no issue with my keycard not working Overall, it was a good stay, and for the price, it was worth it. And the lady who worked until 11 p.m. can't remember her name. She has a short bob haircut. She's so welcoming and pleasant, not to mention she remembers your name, which makes you smile, especially if you are having a rough day. read more

I checked in went to the third floor where my room was and the keycard didn't work. Went back down to the reception desk and the clerk went back up with me. Keycard didn't work again. He used his master key and it opened. The problem was the room was already occupied by another guest. Went back down to the lobby. Issues a new room and it was unoccupied! Settled in turned on the TV and I could only get one channel. Great right?!? Go to dinner and see said clerk and I tell him about the TV. He says "happens all the time" and explains how to fix the issue. Try it and nothing. I just gave up and used my cell phone the rest of the stay. Handicapped room on 3rd floor. Room was a normal size double bed, sink was standard size not lowered for a handicapped person. Beds are way to tall for a handicapped person. I rolled out of the bed while trying to pick up a pillow and hit the table between the beds. I hit the corner with my face and threw me into the handle of the same table. I got a huge black eye still hurts barley still. And when I was trying to get in my wheelchair and caused me to miss it and I fell and now my foot and eye still hurt. The thing about a hotel is while your stay is taking place do they provide you with the service you need if something goes wrong. These people here went out of their way to make sure the problem I had was solved Barb was a great night manager and did her best. There are nearest several great breakfast place which also is a plus. Like I said I would recommend this place because of the commitment to the staff to solve a problem you have and go out of their way to do it. read more

Manager on Duty, Tina, refuses to freeze an ice pack overnight to be able to transport breast milk home to 4 month old baby at safe temperature. Absolutely disgusting behavior. This manager deserves a lesson in customer service and human decency. The customer she was "serving" was in tears. I am appalled at her treatment of this new mother. I stayed with my 2 friends from April 26-29. On our last day we got back to our room and it looked like a 2 year old had made the beds. The towels were just thrown on the sink the room wasn't cleaned up at all. My friend realized that her boots were missing.( Brand new boots) We went down to the desk again for the second time to tell her this time the boots were missing. We're from California, but had our wedding at the Basilica on the Notre Dame campus, and needed a place to house all of our out-of-town guests. The Courtyard Marriot was recommended to us by our day of coordinator, and we are so glad we took their recommendation. Nichole, the Sales Coordinator, was amazing and such a pleasure to work with! They have a terrific policy regarding room blocks, and Nichole was very responsive over email (a huge plus since we were planning a long distance wedding). She made our planning so much easier! The staff at the Courtyard was also incredible. Everyone is friendly and helpful; they went out of their way to help us with anything we asked! Me, my guests, and my family not only stayed here, my then-fiance and I also chose to have a catered Rehearsal Dinner in there Meeting Room. They helped set up tables, and even went looking for a radio when I commented that it seemed too quiet. Every person working that weekend should be promoted, especially the ladies working at the front desk! The rooms themselves are great. The room my girls and I prepped in, the "Bridal Suite", was a King Suite on the 1st floor, and was plenty of room for me, my 6 Bridesmaids, my mom, our make-up artist, our hair dresser, and our 2 photographers. Also, they have a computer and printer that you can use for FREE in the lobby. We printed off all our last minute seating charts and notes for MCs the night before the wedding here; this was a HUGE lifesaver! If you need a place to get ready at for your wedding, to house your family and guests, or to just stay at while visiting the area, I HIGHLY recommend staying here!!! read more

The hotel was at capacity while we were there and you would've never known! It was so quite, the staff was so polite, and there was hardly a noise. The room was neat and clean. The beds are extremely comfortable after a long day. Some rooms have a balcony that we were lucky enough to get. They also had a complimentary breakfast, Starbucks, and a bistro in the lobby. It was an easy check in and an easy check out. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone, even just a one night stay! read more

I like staying in this hotel, it was very pleasant. I'm used to staying in 5 stars hotels. The staff was helpful and check in and out was fast. This is a negative review because of location!! The staff was great and the room was clean like courtyards always are. HOWEVER, there is a Lowe's immediately behind the property. Until about 10:30pm and starting immediately at about 5:30am the next morning, I listened to the words "SPECIAL ASSISTANCE NEEDED AT THE PAINT DESK .. WATER CUTTING AREA .. FLOORING AREA" and other insanely loud announcements about every 2 minutes. If you want to go to bed before 11pm and wake up any time after about 5:30am, it might help to request a room on the front side of the building or stay somewhere else. I am 100% loyal to Marriott but this was so annoying. read more

Would be a very nice hotel, if not located next to some kind of outdoor warehouse/ storage facility. If you stay here make sure you ask to stay on the "quiet side" or you will be awakened at 6am sharp by the constant sound of forklifts and trucks backing up. An otherwise nice place, but if you choose a hotel based on your ability to sleep, this isn't the place for you. read more
