Solid! A mostly relaxing stay with family. The hotel wasn't too crowded. Our rooms on the sixth floors had solid views and were quiet. One room did initially have issues with the heater not working, but maintenance came up within an hour to rectify. The sink was also extremely strong. Too much pressure meant water going everywhere haha. That aside, the location is wonderful, within walking distance of countless restaurants/shops. Service was good for check in. Comfort and convenience. One incident to share: not sure if it's standard protocol for the evening or if there were other dynamics at play, but the front desk attendant asked me if I was a guest of the hotel, which room I was staying at, and my name. Nice convenient location on the Easton property. The cleaning solution they use may need to be revisited. I am not sure why the whole lobby smelled like chlorine or some sort of sanitizer. The guest room floors are definitely better in terms of overall. The guest rooms are what one would expect from any Courtyard by Marriott. The room and bathroom were both very clean and well maintained. There is a space to work (desk) as well as relax (couch). Despite being the room next to the elevator, the room was pretty quiet on that side. It was the opposite side that neighbors the next guest room that we could hear the mother disciplining her kids... One final nit--parking seems to be in demand. The front lot is small and is next to the lot in front of the strip of stores across from the hotel. Less than expected from my favorite hotel brand. The lobby smells so bad I could barely stand walking through it. We had two rooms on 6th floor. No hot water in one. Waffle pieces and paper trash on the floor. Check in took forever as employee didn't know how to assign rooms. I've stayed at a ton of these and this was definitely not up to par. Let me first say that when we travel we normally stay at Marriott hotels. This one was disappointing. We arrived late Friday evening, checked in on the APP but weren't sent our room assignment or mobile key. So tired we had to go to the front desk, where no one was to be found. We were left waiting there for several minutes . Then the hotel pool was gross. It had hair floating across the top of the water. It looked like the filter needed changed. And then we had to leave early because of a family emergency. Again I utilized my Marriott app to text the front desk. No response until the next day. I've stayed at other Marriott hotels and used this feature and they responded within a couple minutes. And when we got on the road to travel home, I got ab apple notification that my airbuds were left behind. I had remembered that I had laid them on the bed while packing up. I immediately sent another message that went unanswered until the am. I was told they would email me as soon as the room was checked. Again, no one could be bothered to go look for me. An email came 3 days later stating they weren't found even though my find me app showed them still there but now they were out of the case. The Manager couldn't care less about our experience or my missing item. Please tell me what would make me want to stay again? read more

I think I had unfortunate day yesterday- every where I went I had complaints lol including this hotel. In general, it was typical courtyard hotel with the modern touch. The interior was modern and neat. The room on the first sight looked okay and clean. I was surprised by discovering a toilet trash can full of previous guests' trashes. I thought that "wow, had room been cleaned at all?" I called the front desk and asked to send someone to empty the can. Kathy, the front desk lady, was super polite and apologetic. She sent ASAP a cleaning lady and talked to the manager. Kathy was amazing and took out 100$ from our bill- this was the top notch service! We were really pleased by the hotel customer service and front desk staff. I put three stars mostly for the room. The minuses were: shower wall was destroyed- room 626; the air conditioning system was insane- it was all the time on auto and worked loudly! We didn't have a good sleep just because of the machine. The room didn't have any amenities such as water or mini bar, no shower cap or piece of cotton. In the end, if you Marriott member, it's okay hotel to stay to get your points. But be careful about noisy air conditioning system and finding other guests trashes lol read more

Flew in from out of town arrived at 10:30...front desk took a while to recognize we arrived...didn't offer us water as a platinum member ( the least they could do) and got to the room no tv went down to front very sweet woman gave us key to another room still no tv...said she would call the Hilton....same owners.....never again!!! read more

I love Easton. I also love that Marriott has two hotels in the Easton complex, so I can drive up, shop till I drop, and stay the night in the comfort of my favorite hotel brand. My sister and I drove up to Easton in pursuit of the perfect prom dress (that shit show of an adventure is a story for another time), and decided to stay at the Courtyard for the evening. I was able to make last minute reservations, and checked in before heading to dinner. The hotel is either newer or very well kept. The exterior blends in well with the rest of Easton, and it most certainly doesn't look like a typical Courtyard. Our check in person was new, and was having a hard time finding us a room. She was super friendly and was trying her best so I didn't mind. My patience may have paid off because she was able to get us a two queen room that was recently renovated. The room was probably one of the largest rooms I've ever stayed at in a Courtyard. Since it was recently renovated, the color scheme was the newer soothing gray and blue as opposed to that god awful yellowish green/red color abomination of 80s Courtyards. The room was cool and felt very clean. I was also surprised to find that they offered the internet TVs. I know a lot of the full-service Marriotts were moving toward the internet television, but I wasn't aware Courtyards were doing it as well. It was nice to be able to watch movies from Netflix after our failure to find a prom dress. I didn't use any of the recreational facilities, but they all looked well kept from when I walked past. This was a one-and-done trip for me, and I don't typically stay in the suburbs when in Columbus. However, if I have to stay in Easton again, this will certainly bring a top choice read more

Hotel was tiny and pretty average. Nothing special about it but its in a good area close to the shops and the lively area in Columbus with many restaurants in the area. The hotel is by no means luxury or offer more than near by hotels. Sound cancellation in rooms was not great , you can hear people in hallways and those using the ice machine. read more

The staff at this Courtyard is very nice and we had no issues with them. The hotel is clean and the rooms are bigger than the average hotel or Courtyard, for that matter. The reason for the 3 Stars is because the walls are paper thin and you can hear every footstep in the hallway, and every word being said in the next room. It was so loud, and so difficult to get a good night's sleep. I would think twice about staying here again because it was hard to sleep here. read more

Under Construction. I expect a nice clean quiet room and facility. Elevators closed, old carpet scraps as rugs in the hallways. Drywall dust. Temporary walls and doors. Open rooms under construction. First impressions really do stick... the moment I walked in to check-in dropped my rating from five stars to three automatically. One staff person at the front desk was not welcoming at all, not a hello, smile, nothing... I know they'd rather be out clubbing but "hello!" this is the job you signed up for! After settling into my room things started to look up. The room was very clean and spacious with a comfy bed. Made my way to the Bistro for a glass of wine. Caitlin was wonderful. I opted to sit on the patio by the fire pit, and she came out often to see if I needed anything. Unfortunately, the Bistro stops serving at 9:15 pm, which seems a bit early, especially on a weekend. I have stayed in hundreds of Marriott's and do my best to avoid Courtyards....they are often small, dingy, and the rooms always have paper thin walls and loudly closing doors. While it might take a few more experiences, this location certainly is helping improve my opinion. The lobby is of the new Courtyard variety - a nice food bar, modern seating, and a nice seating area. The check-in was friendly and quick - as a Platinum member, I received the points AND a market pantry item! My room was a bit larger with a king size bed and extra seating area. The room seemed fairly quiet. There is still the crappy air conditioning system at the window that is way too loud and the walls are still a bit thin, but the improvements are nice. While I can't speak to overall location as it relates to Columbus, it is located next to a nice open air mall with plenty of food choices and a Trader Joes. Would definitely stay here again. read more

The rooms are very clean and spacious, the staff was extremely friendly and our room was always cleaned in the morning, we never had to wonder if it was going to be cleaned or not. As far as I'm concerned this is the only place to stay when in Columbus. The location in Easton is great because of the shops and food. Plus, it is only 10 minutes from the airport. One of the bike paths is also just a few blocks away. It is fairly new Courtyard. For some reason the pillow were not very comfy and the internet dropped out many times. read more

The moment you walk in here, you feel welcome. It's the furniture, the colors, the amazing beds & showers, great-looking and useful lobby, tasty food and friendly staff... My dinner (delicious, by the way) at the lobby restaurant took three hours - all because of a very friendly bartender and delicious personal BBQ chicken pizza. Both the shower and mattress allowed me to feel rejuvenated and re-energized the next day. Not worth taking a star off the rating, but I have to mention that given that it was a 6am checkout for me and there was no one else in the lobby, I would have expected a faster service (just needed an updated copy of my bill) to get out of the door. Start with the good. Comfy room clean room. Nice TV and line up. Mini fridge but no microwave. Very convenient location for all the shopping attractions that are walking distance. The bad. Unfriendly staff. Apparently no perks if you are platinum status. Most give vouchers for the breakfast. This one doesn't. Packed parking lot. Parked in the back lot and it was pouring down the rain. Soaked by the time we reached the front door. No executive lounge. Nothing like spending thousands on Marriott stays and reaching platinum status to not get any perks what so ever. read more

Under Construction. Without any notice or real concern the hotel is under construction. The noise alone would be enough to not come. The sound of saws at nine am every morning. The front desk staff at this hotel is untrained and inexperienced, in life & in hospitality. The hotel is in a very nice section of town, it is actually part of the Easton Town Center. You would think we were in the heart of New York City. They treat you like you should be thanking them for letting you stay with there. I love Marriott. Unfortunately, when you have a hotel that is new & has high aesthetic standards the reflection of your hotel comes down to the experience that you have with the staff. Standard hotel rooms, nice lobby, great staff - very attentive and friendly both day and night. I know nothing about the competition in the area, but for a business trip, I'd stay here again. I do wish the free airport shuttle ran more often. A 45 minute wait between runs is just enough time to miss a flight. Taxi costs are about $20 for the 15 minute trip, I'd suggest taking a taxi over the shuttle unless you have time to kill. read more

Great location, good decor, large comfortable rooms. It eve has a reasonable bar.
