A friend brought me to Cooper's Hawk for a birthday wine tasting and we had a great time! The wine bar is first come, first served so get there early. A staff member was kind enough to give us a glass of grapefruit wine while we waited, so tasty. Once it was our turn we got go try samples of six different wines and they were each so unique. Their team also did a great job giving alternative suggestions and helping my friend pick out a few bottles for her own upcoming birthday party. Afterwards we switched to the restaurant's bar area for happy hour and got a few things. I ordered the burger but honestly got full off the bread and an appetizer, so I took it to go for a late night dinner. It was a lovely visit overall :) read more

Well... let me just say..... I was looking forward to this time at Coopers Hawk with friends. We planned this a month ago. Reservations made. We got there at noon and we were seated. Great. Our server Ava greeted us and took our drink orders. I got the Brunch Sangria. So good. Actually 3 of us got one. Things were moving along. She came back around we put our order in. That was probably around 12:20. Making great time. I got a side salad. A friend got the Wedge. That came out in good timing. It was pretty good. This is when things went left. Around 1:30pm.... The entrees came out. I got the chicken potstickers. The temp on them was ok. But the other meals were cold. Yall... their meals were inedible. We waited all that time for their food to be cold. Not only that there was no check-in being done from our server. Felt kind of neglected. The manager came over to apologize after it was asked if they could have food that was hot. He seemed sorry. But it kind of put a damper on the meal. This is not a cheap place. Expectations are high. They were busy. Totally understand. However to serve cold food is not cool at all. Like I said I ate my potstickers. They were delicious. Could have been a hotter temperature for sure. But it is what it is. Will I go back? Yes. Definitely with the hope of better. read more

Pretty restaurant! When you first walk in there is a large tasting area and a few items for sale. The hostess desk is through the tasting area - similar to other locations I've been too. They have an outdoor area that was sadly closed - we would have loved to enjoy the beautiful weather! We dined inside over the weekend and they offer Brunch & Bubbles as well as their traditional menu. We ordered off the Brunch & Bubble's! Started with mimosas/No-mosa's - very good and such a reasonable price of $5! That was a treat! They had complimentary pretzel bread and butter for the table. We ordered the APPLEWOOD SMOKED BACON PIZZA, CANDIED BACON BLT, and the EGGS ANY WAY. My friends enjoyed both the pizza and BLT and said they would order again. Eggs any way feels misleading as I ordered scrambled egg whites and they came back and said they don't have egg whites and if normal eggs that have milk mixed in are okay instead. I am confused if they can make fried eggs why they can't separate the yolks for egg whites? For a restaurant at this price point and prestige, I was disappointed and will defer me from going there for brunch in the future. Instead I got three sides - applewood bacon, potatoes and oven roasted vegetables. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed with the potatoes and oven roasted vegetables. The potatoes had a sauce on them that felt heavy and was unexpected - I wouldn't order them again (my friends who also had them with the bacon BLT said the same and in the future would ask for a different side) and the oven veggies were a bit saucy and tangy. The perception of what you will receive based on the name does not match what is presented. I've been to a Coopers Hawk for dinner several times and really enjoyed it, but this was a miss for me. read more

Stopped in for dinner with a friend and stumbled onto success since it is Restaurant week! Started with their crab, shrimp, lobster bisque which was creamy and flavorful. Had a fair amount of seafood chunks. For my entree I picked the pretzel crusted pork chops which were cooked to perfection and served with a side of mashed potatoes and broccolini. So yummy! Finished the meal with the Cooper's Hawk chocolate cake (has a side of vanilla ice cream). The meal could not have been better, especially since it was $40! I'm not a big wine drinker, but did enjoy a glass of their prosecco which we were able to take advantage of at their Happy Hour price. Wish they had more options that are non wine. Great service and all were helpful. The lobby is too packed because of the merchandise. Parking can be tricky in that area of Easton, so be prepared to pay via app if you are in the neighboring lot. read more

My husband and I went out for our anniversary dinner and wanted to go somewhere that would be a little more special, and wanted to include our 7 year old son. We decided on Cooper's Hawk, and made reservations a week prior for 5:15pm tonight. When we arrived, the hostess wouldn't even lift her head to acknowledge us, and indicated our table wasn't ready. We were finally seated at 5:45pm, and waited another 10 minutes before we were greeted by our server. She brought out waters and bread, and we waited another 15 minutes before she came to take our drink order. We decided to order everything as we were starving and our son was restless and beyond hungry. The table next to us was seated 10 minutes after us and received their appetizer and drinks before us. We also noticed other tables with kids receiving their kids drinks in plastic cups with lids and their kids food way ahead of the adults. Our son was given his drink in a heavy glass without a top, and were informed 15 minutes after ordering that his kids dinner was not available, which resulted in a meltdown. We ordered the filet medallions from the kids menu as a last resort for him and proceeded to wait another 30 minutes before it was delivered to our table. The filet medallions were burnt to a crisp and inedible. My short rib risotto was gummy and full of tough fat instead of toothsome risotto and melt in your mouth short rib. Our server was very defensive and seemed to have an answer for everything, and informed us that the manager was too busy to come out to talk to us. We observed other tables around us and everyone seemed to have issues with their meals, and tables were not cleared or bussed after the parties left. With the price of the meals and ambiance presented we were left extremely disappointed and frustrated. A celebratory meal for us should have been memorable, but was memorable for the wrong reasons. We even put in our reservation that it was our wedding anniversary and that wasn't acknowledged and we weren't even asked if we wanted dessert. We won't be returning, and hope this serves as a warning before any others are planning a visit to eat here! read more

I had a great experience overall at Cooper's Hawk at Easton. The atmosphere is upscale but relaxed, making it a solid spot for a nice dinner without feeling too formal. Our server was attentive and friendly, and the food hit the mark. I ordered the pretzel-crusted pork really flavorful and cooked well, however I didn't like the crusting because it was mushy but the flavor was there. I gotta say, the pretzel bread they serve before the meal is dangerously good. Like, could-eat-an-entire-one-by-myself good. One of the best parts of the night was the wine flight is 4 legit glasses of wine for $20 is a great value, and a fun way to try different options without committing to one bottle. Only downside: during the meal, someone on staff accidentally spilled water on me. It wasn't the end of the world, but it was surprising that they didn't offer any kind of comp, apology gesture, or discount especially given the otherwise polished service. That's the only reason I'm docking a star. Still, I'd definitely come back. Good food, good wine, and a great atmosphere. I just hope to stay dry next time. read more

Yes, the wines can be hit or miss depending on the variety and vintage, but I would say more often than not, the wines are above average. The food has always been excellent! I try and not order the same thing each time, but mix it up. Never had a bad meal. This most recent trip, we enjoyed the Sweet and Crunchy Shrimp Lettuce Wraps with Bibb Lettuce, Asian Cabbage Slaw, Toasted Cashews, and Chili Crisp Ranch. Then it was the Cilantro Lime Chicken Salad with Crunchy Corn, Pickled Vegetables, Grape Tomatoes, Avocado, Tortilla Chips, Avocado-Lime Dressing, with Chili Ranch. My second time at Cooper's Hawk, my first time at this location! I made a reservation since I knew that this is a busy place to go to. Large space with high ceilings. And you can do wine tastings at the front area where you can buy wine things. My friend and I started off with wine, of course, and the crispy rice with tuna appetizer. Delicious! Presentation was a bit off as some of the tuna fell over. No biggie! The tables are kinda close to each other, so servers had to squeeze by and I'm sure it couldn't be helped that presentation couldn't hold. It took 30min to get our entrees. To be honest, I didn't even realize how much time had passed, but the manager came by and apologized, told us we didn't have to pay for anything and to get dessert on him. Wow! Exceptional service! They had lost our ticket in the kitchen. I appreciate the fact that they were willing to make things right for us even though my friend and I weren't upset. After that, our food came in like 5min. I liked the food. I got Dana's Parmesan chicken. Pretty big portion! Well seasoned and a perfect crunch on the chicken. My friend got the skirt steak salad which she enjoyed. Large portion there too. We got dessert since they said we wouldn't pay a dime lol shared the budino. Delicious! A bit too sweet for us but excellent presentation and the layered textures were an exceptional pairing. From the service to the food to the wine - it was excellent. Jennifer M was our server and was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was refreshing to have a server that went above and beyond. She found us a better table for the seven of us after our original table was a little snug. The Blanc de Blanc was so crisp and light. I could have had 2 more glasses but I'll have to come back for more. The crab shrimp and lobster bisque was served hot and tastes very fresh. The croutons were a nice touch and Jennifer had no problem getting more for us. The cup was a perfect snack size. Moving into my entree - the ahi tuna. Perfectly cooked and the slaw it was served on was really crisp and light and delicious. It came with 2 sauces - one was a creamier one that was great. The fresh ginger on top was an added bonus. I like that they serve tastings of their wines for free and Jennifer didn't mind grabbing several of them for our table. Side note for anyone using a corporate payment - they do show on your bill but are free with dinner. Overall, this was a fantastic meal and the atmosphere was nice. It was busy on a random Monday night which is a good sign. Knowing this place has other locations means I know where to find good food and wine across the US. Fortunately, I have never had a bad experience. 1) Make a reservation, no matter when you go. They are often busy. 2) If you go often, the membership is worth it. We're a 2 bottle family! We used our membership to have a couple of glasses of wine. My personal favorite is the Scarletto or the Riesling. Wine is all about preference, but I like that they have a bit of sweetness, but not too much. 3) Try one of the flatbreads. My favorite is the Caprese. Erin was out waitress and recommended the special brisket flatbread. It was phenomenal. We could've had three more. I hope they bring that back. 4) The lunch portions are big. I ordered the Chicken Piccata. If my husband didn't finish it, I would've had leftovers. She seemed to be inconvenienced when we asked for our check and after bringing it, charged our card for an appetizer we didn't order. Everything from start to finish at Cooper's Hawk was delicious! The restaurant was nice inside with low lighting and simple decor but had a comforting vibe for the holidays. We made reservations for Christmas Eve and although it was busy, we did not have to wait long for our table to be ready (maybe 20 minutes). Our waitress was spunky and hilarious (she introduced herself as Oprah lol). She was lovely and did a wonderful job with our service. We started off with their over the boarder egg rolls and died at how amazing they are! The pretzel bread was also insanely delicious and we also enjoyed the bruschetta and Italian sausage and whipped vuestra flatbread. Everything was great! For dinner, we ordered a variety of items including the prime churrasco grilled steak, the jambalaya, braised short rib risotto, and grilled tenderloin medallions. We all thought our dishes were quite tasty. The only hiccup was three of us ordered the churrasco steak and they did not quite get our meat cooked as each of us requested but aside from that, the dish was great and the cilantro-lime aioli was awesome! 3pm, restaurant nearly empty. We were seated the same time as the white couple ahead of us. Within 45 minutes they had drinks, appetizers, and full entrées. We had water and bread. At the one-hour mark, still nothing. A manager "apologized for the slowness" -- no food, no explanation for how a table seated minutes from us got a complete meal while we sat with a bread basket. I have been to Cooper's Hawk on SEVERAL occasions but not in a long time. I went here for lunch with a friend during a weekday. I didn't have a reservation. My friend was there before me and told them we didn't have a reservation. They took her name and said they would call us around 1:15pm. 1:15pm came and went and they were calling people's names that came AFTER us. Now the young man calling out the names was not the person who took her name originally. She got up and spoke with the young man who was calling the names, told him the situation. He said he would get to her, he still kept calling out people who came after us and then she asked for the manager. She told the manager the situation and he found us a table immediately. We waited literally 15 minutes before the server acknowledged us. That was for her to say that she would have someone come and take our order. So a young man who was helping her out and he took our order. Then the man who originally took my friend's name came to the table and asked if we wanted appetizers (on the house), she ordered pot stickers. We waited about 10 more minutes and the drinks came, the actual server came to the table. Then the food came (no potstickers). The food was fine. When we were halfway through the young man who offered the appetizers asked how the food was and she told him we never got the potstickers. So he brought the potstickers. We saw our server maybe once more to see if we were fine and then I told her how the check should be. It WAS very busy when we came, so I understand why we didn't see her much. Overall this was just not a good experience, but since this has only happened once I will return. read more

I've been multiple times for a wine tastings, which I highly recommend. But I finally dined in. Let's start with the Pretzel bread and butter. At first I was disappointed that it was Pretzel bread because that can be a very acquired taste. But it was actually very delicious. Nice crunch, soft on the inside and the pretzel flavor was not too overbearing. We had apps and a flight of wine. App spread- chicken pot stickers, carne asada flat bread, seafood bisque. I've heard a mediocre reviews about the food. But these apps are all very delicious. You get about 8 potstickers on a massive bed of slaw, which is delicious and has crunchy bits. & sweet soy was the perfect accompaniment (9/10). The seafood bisque is super flavorable and has chunks of seafood in it (10/10). The Carne asada Flatbread was probably my least favorite, but it was still good, solid 8/10. Love the Pesto. For the wine fight I ordered some of my faves including the Unoaked Chardonnay, malbec, chocolate almond and blueberry acai. I think the pours are reasonable for $22. Service was mediocre. But Iwould definitely return to try dinner. read more
