The rooms are cozy, spacious, and come with great vistas

We have been to this location many times and this location is our favorite in Columbus. The atmosphere, service, and amenities are second to none. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to accommodate all guests. Everyone is a VIP here. In my opinion, this hotel will always be the crown jewel of Columbus OH. Cheers

This Hilton is in dire need of a refresh with both staff and accommodations. The rooms are worn and not worth the money. The front desk was rude. Not what one would expect from a Hilton property.

From the outside to the lobby look beautiful and would expect it to be top service. However this didn't seem to be the case. The restaurant hours were hit or miss. The thing in the room said they were open till midnight and each night at 8:30 when I came in the women told me the grill was closed. So essentially you could not get anything to eat after 8pm. The rooms were good size but all the USB ports were broken or failing out. The room was good size and clean. The AC didn't work very well wouldn't go below 74 in the room. I would of expected a little more from a Hilton. During the day the hotel staff was nice and I'm assuming everything was open. Just like everyone else these days they don't clean rooms daily and you have to go out of your way to get clean towels. Maybe for one night this place would of been ok just not multiple nights.

This manager came up to me and told me I was not able to take pictures on their property. I informed him politely that I was a guest. He then explained that I can't take any photos in a public area. He didn't inform another photographer (my colleague) who was also in the area, nor the other 8-10 people who were taking pictures in the same area as I was. He specifically singled me out. Although I wasn't happy with what he told me I said "I will just go to my room and take pictures there". He then asks me what room number it is and what's the name of the reservation. Had no reason why he would be asking me this but I complied and kindly replied. Upon heading to my floor and before I got to the room he caught up with me outside the elevator with a member of security and forcefully told me "You have to leave immediately". I repeated that I was a paid guest, but then he threatened to contact the police. After this unpleasant moment I headed to the room only to find out he had disabled the key lock to the room. After my friend (who booked the room) tried to no success to get the door opened we had to wait for an hour for maintenance to finally get the door open. All of this happened in front my clients and I have recorded the complaint I filed afterwards at the front desk. This manager (I didn't get his name) refused to apologize to me. I told him he was wrong to assume I was not a guest and for treating me like crap in front of my clients. Hilton group, you should not have an unprofessional person working for you in hotel management. This man is a liability at this position. I have a picture of this individual and a video recording if you would like to follow up with me regarding this instance that occurred Saturday April 5th.

Dirty plunger left in hall, perfect picture of what you can expect at this hotel.

If it was possible to give this "hotel" a zero we would. The people running this hotel should be fired for incompetence and endangering customers health. We have stayed here many times while visiting family, but this will be our last stay. We travel around the world and as long as our room is clean, the rooms are serviced daily and the AC works we aren't that picky. We booked 2 junior suites for my husband and I, our son and his very pregnant wife and their 2 girls age 3 years and 10 months. Their AC DID NOT WORK AT ALL! Ours was not great so they gave us both box fans. BOX FANS. We later discovered many others on the 6th floor also had no AC. BOX FANS FOR EVERYONE! For the 4 days we were there NO ONE ANSWERED THE FRONT DESK PHONE, EVER! My husband had to go down to the lobby and stand in line at the front desk daily (some days 4 times a day) to get someone to look at the AC, the first day 3 times he went down, nothing was fixed. Our pregnant daughter in law was getting physically ill from the heat. No one came and cleaned our room for the 3 nights we were there (yes we requested daily service). When returning to our HOT, dirty, unserviced room the first day we of course called the front desk (no one answers the front desk remember, yes this is a supposed to be a nice Hilton people) with no answer and again my husband goes back down to the lobby. Hours later after 8pm we finally were delivered some towels, we had to physically hand them the trash bags and could not get refills for the coffee machine because the woman understood zero English, plus she was only towels, no supplies. She did however know how to pick up the tip that had sat there all day waiting for housekeeping. For $240 a night these simple things are what we paid for, this isn't the Ritz, but AC is mandatory. We were told there were no rooms for our son and his family to move to. We could have all slept in our room on a filthy couch or filthy dirty carpet but that wasn't happening. At this point we were desperately trying to find another place to move our family to before we ended up having to make an emergency room visit but had no luck. After sending emails to the "general manager" Perry Hansen, we were replied to with a form letter saying they would give us future rooms if we would give them a 5 star rating! UNBELIEVABLE!! Nothing fixed, still no service, just some CYA platitude email. I would pitch a tent and have a better stay on the grass out front and would not stay here again even if it was free. We received the same form email (which I will attach) multiple times from this clown all while nothing was done. It seems posting pics of yourself on FB is more important than taking care of customers. Hilton, you really have dropped the ball here, this is an epic fail, my next letter is to your corporate office where I will add more details of their incompetence. Then to ever other travel site where I have accounts. By some miracle the second night, after a brutal first night they "found" a room to at least move my sons family to. While moving we met another family who had been there for 4 days with NO AC FOR THEIR WHOLE STAY. They were given the same excuse, no rooms, here's a box fan and suck it up. They luckily got to leave before us and refunded for their stay in full. Interesting right? Like us they were busy during the day thinking they would come back to a clean, cool room only to find a HOT, DIRTY, UNSERVICED ROOM and a completely absent management staff. This joke of a hotel ruined a trip we had planned months for, the way we were treated was inexcusable and our daughter in law's and grandchildren's well being from the heat and the hotels neglect was bordering on criminal. The general manager cares nothing about the customers and only about his "5 star rating" which apparently he thinks can be bought with future free stays, I can only imagined how you would be treated if you paid nothing here! Makes you question the legitimacy of other reviews right? We have been Hilton customers for over 40 YEARS and this is not typical, it is sad and pathetic if this type of service is now considered acceptable in the Hilton chain. This was a $2500 mistake we will not make again and hopefully helps prevent others from making the same mistake. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS.

Extremely unclean & shabby! I booked a king room with sofa : well in advance . Cannot hold a candle to Chicago accommodations. Carpets were spotted & very dirty. Mirrors & surfaces - dirty. Staff were unhelpful at desk. I've used Hilton in other locales before. This was not one that I could recommend. In addition; upon booking I requested a quiet room - so I am Placed by the elevator?? There is a nice shopping center directly across the street . Hilton, get it together!

toilet paper on the floor in all the stalls because the holder has no stopper

I didn't stay the night here but was here for an event. I don't know how much control they have over the programming of events, but maybe they should exercise more. I was attending a concert/banquet and it opened with a 2 minute prayer that asked everyone to bow their heads, an hour and a half after the doors were supposed to have been opened and food was supposed to have been served. It was so incredibly disorganized, and it clearly wasn't at full fault of the hotel, but I didn't see any staff helping the event organizers whatsoever. Got to a table with old, soggy salad and inedibly sour dressing. The chicken was okay, and the rice was disgusting. Pro tip: don't serve bad rice at an Asian event. They didn't plan correctly, so whereas most of us got okay chicken, some people got salmon which is worth way more and looked much more appetizing. The presentation of dessert was cute but gross, like someone threw together a box mix and put in 3 times the amount of sugar asked for. The sound quality was okay, but bad enough that I couldn't understand much of the words being said or sang. The catering staff were doing their best but were understaffed and uninformed. Any time we asked a question, they had no idea of an answer and were not at liberty to bring us another plate of food when one of the people at our table didn't have one. The bartender in the back of the venue was great and held down the fort well on her own even though... why would they have 1 bartender for an event with hundreds of people. Lastly, the bathrooms had toilet paper all over the floor, in almost every stall. I was astounded by how people could be so sloppy, until I reached for toilet paper and the whole roll slid off. There are no stoppers on the toilet paper holder, which was weird, wasteful, and so unsanitary. They don't have mounted paper towel dispensers either, just glorified tissue holders sitting on the sinks with water surrounding them and dripping off them. At least one sink didn't work. Overall, seems to be a place that pretends to be really nice and upscale but is really just mid and cheap (quality) af. Would not come her of my own accord or recommend for an event.

What a beautiful facility. It was spotless, the staff friendly & it was perfectly located across the street from the Easton Mall. Not to ruin the surprise, but hang around the bar to hear the bartenders last call. It was entertaining to hear as it echoed throughout the lobby.

My only qualm was I really stayed at Hampton because I love my breakfast waffles. One of the waffle machines was broken and the one that was working kept sticking the waffles; but again that's just a qualm because I was super hyped for breakfast. Overall breakfast was yummy! Checkout again was super easy and I was out in literally less than a minute! 10/10 would recommend and probably stay here again if I needed a hotel.

I was told that my Honors Member rate would be booked for the full stay. At check in, the reservation I made was not even for the correct number of nights. I booked for Wednesday thru Sunday but they only had my block of rooms for Wednesday and Thursday. We were told to come down and check out and check back in the following day. When we came down in the morning to take care of this, that front desk person said we should not have had to check in and check out and move rooms even though this is what we were told upon arrival. We then find out that our rate has gone from $187 to approximately $500 a night for the remaining stay. Of course we are shocked. We went to speak to the manager and he was not willing to meet us in the middle to find a solution. He gave us a hard no and said you won't find another hotel in this area for the remaining days. We found another hotel, three rooms left and did not stay and found other accommodations. I think there were enough issues with our reservations and being told a different story depending upon who we spoke with that the hotel. It is unfortunate that they seemed to not care to loose guests and two rooms. I am truly floored by the switch and bait and also that management/staff really seemed to not be bothered. We might only be 6 guests total but they just lost customers who that will never book with this hotel chain again.

This trip brought us to the LeVeque. I opened the door to my room and literally stopped in my tracks. My first thought: Can the interior designer come do my house next? The decor is gorgeous. One of my favorite discoveries was that the gold framing around the mirrors and bed? Plastic. The crisscross "marble" lamp bases? Also plastic. Honestly, brilliant. They look exactly like the kind of ridiculously heavy gold frames and marble lamps that would double as murder weapons in a Dateline episode. The bathroom is huge, the towels are fluffy, and there's a separate privacy door for the toilet--an underrated luxury when traveling. My only room complaint: the shampoo has that generic "guy cologne" scent that never quite smells as good as its creators think it does. The hotel's artwork is classy, and the bar area is comfortable with plenty of couches for lounging. The drinks, however, are pricey. At those prices, the martinis should arrive with special effects--a bubble on top that explodes into smoke, minimum. A minor annoyance: the lobby ran out of Diet Coke for purchase. Unfortunately, Marriott doesn't seem to give employees a small emergency soda fund to run out and buy a case. As for parking, valet would have been nice, but instead you park in the garage around the corner. The attached walkway makes it easy enough, though. Overall: beautiful hotel, stunning rooms, great atmosphere.

They did send service up to try to fix it, but he was unable to. Would definitely stay there again.

The place is gorgeous, well put together. The hotel staff were very attentive. A small hiccup on checking in. I was already charged through a booking website but when I arrived they said my booking was cancelled. Odd but quickly fixed. I took advantage of the welcome cocktail -- well, I asked for mine to be a mocktail. If you're looking for an alcohol substitute, you'd like it. If you're looking for juice with a flair, you will not. The bartender really loves what he does and that was nice. I also took advantage of the free COSI tickets. Lovely museum. Room was clean. Bed was nice. Shower was nice. Would've been better if it had a handheld shower head component. Downsides The walls are THIN. Unfortunately, I was privy to some extracurricular activities. Fortunately, it was short and not repeated. The steamer was dirty and not so great, and the wifi was soo slow. The bathroom needed more hooks. You could hang a towel but then you couldn't hang your wash cloth. If you needed a space to steam your clothes, you couldn't have your towel or wash cloth up. Lastly, they only gave me one wash cloth lol I did ask for more and it took a little while to get it. I think they got sidetracked because when I called down to the desk, it was there within 15 minutes.

I felt $39 for valet parking was very high, especially since the first night my car was not even parked in their lot. I actually felt that they should have refunded part of the valet fee since my car was parked a block and a half away in an unattended lot. I actually felt that for $39 per night that the cars should have been in a garage. The hotel was nice, though we were looking for something to eat late at night after 10:00 p.m. and didn't realize that the sports bar stop serving food after 10:00 p.m. and the restaurant upstairs was packed and very loud. We ended up ordering out doordash which was easier and quicker especially since it was pouring down rain outside. The desk wasn't always staffed while we were there, that included when we called on the phone at 7:00 p.m. to speak with someone and the phone just rang and rang and rang, it also included daytime when we were looking to speak with someone at the front desk and there was no one there. A desk in a downtown hotel should be staffed 24 hours a day. When we booked our room I didn't realize my mother would need a handicapped room. When we finally did get a hold of someone a little bit after 7:00 on that first evening we were able to move to a room that was supposedly handicapped but wasn't quite as I expected it would be. Yes there were rails everywhere in the bathroom but the toilet was low and what really blew my mind was there was a bathtub and anyone who's handicapped like let's say in a wheelchair is not going to be able to get into the bathtub or out very easily. There was a seat underneath the sink that could be set up in the tub but how would somebody if they were handicapped get into and out of it. The first room we had had a nice shower that you could practically walk in without having to climb over the edge of a bathtub. I would have felt that would have been much better of an option for someone handicapped. Drawer space in both rooms was non-existent. In the handicap room there was one drawer underneath the fridge. In the other room there were two drawers. We were there for the weekend, we operated out of the suitcase. They were all so only four hangers. It seemed to me a bit ridiculous that there wasn't enough storage space for someone who might want to unpack if they were there for a week or longer than a weekend. In fact, I've never been in a Marriott hotel that didn't have more storage than this one. It was a bit odd to me. The staff was friendly, helpful, the little store downstairs was nice to pick up some drinks or some snacks, I'm unsure where we would have heated up the frozen dinner or pizza that were in the freezer in that little store since we didn't have a microwave in our hotel room. It was nice that the hotel was close to comfest that was happening while we were visiting the area and that North market was just a block up. It was nice that you could walk to things and weren't always reliant on your car. Again I really wanted to like this hotel thoroughly, but there were just things that didn't make sense and were problematic to me. But since we were there for an event, we didn't have a choice of the hotel for that event.
