We don't believe her teeth were brushed while she was there. Her 2 gold necklaces were stolen off her neck-very creepy. Responses from staff were few and far between-at best. We experienced some extreme rudeness from some of the nursing and front desk staff. We also experienced an attempt on their part to extend her stay (and bill unnecessary treatments) when informed of hospice's involvement. When informed that her necklaces were missing, the only response was that they weren't listed in her inventory. When sent a video with her wearing the necklaces-in their facility-there was no response. Just shameful! DO NOT SEND your loved ones there!!!

The staff was very professional and courteous. All the nurses that I saw was a RN, working the floor just like the nurses aide at other facilities. The surrounding area had a lot of trees, that gave it a very serene feeling and atmosphere. In my opinion, these trees give your mindset to breathe , relax and meditate on the goodness of a God given life.

The nurses, CNA's and physical/speech therapy staff are very caring to my husband. Yes, you may get a new CNA that does not meet this criteria but I noticed they do not last long. Have patience when your loved one first arrives as the staff gets to understand their needs. They are working hard taking care of many people with different situations. Eddie in the business office is also great to work with. I appreciate his attention to my needs.

The staff at LaPosada are exceptional! Kind, Welcoming, Helpful and knowledgeable. The services, activities, meals and quality of living is tremendous. My mother absolutely loves her apartment and she loves living there! She has made friends quickly and always has a friend (or new friend) to have dinner with each night. And we have joined her for dinner several times and the food is upscale and delicious! We especially like the cocktail hour each night in their bar area. I love that there are two restaurants to choose from and there are new specials every night. There are also plenty of fun, interesting shows, activities and exercise classes for her to participate in. She enjoys regular transportation to Publix, the mall, or a doctors appointment. In addition, the grounds and community center are so beautiful and peaceful. A special shout out to many of the wonderful staff members: First our initial contact Lonnie Ehmann who shared her time and talent and layed the foundation for our initial visits. Fabulous Kim Mancini, Yolanda, and Vivianna all made my mom's transition seamless and comfortable. Stephanie, Jennifer and all the wait staff at the Waterfront dining are so gracious and outstanding! Anything that might need a repair is only a phone call away and maintenance is always pleasant and knowledgeable. The entertainment is wonderful and the food is superior. The views are so lovely. There are many fitness programs and an on-site Physical Therapy facility as well. Seriously I could not be in a more caring or better place.
