The room was a bit dated... Had a lack of charging stations... these days you have to update to current needs! The room lighting was really dark... I mean come one... put in some real lights. The bed was good the room was clean. It just needed to be updated. I also don't like it when the tv is not centered on the bed or when you have to turn sideways to watch it. New and clean hotel . Good customer service. Downstairs it has a bistro with 24 hours drinks , breakfast , lunch and dinner . Also a snack bar called the " market " . The hotel has a nice pool and a large gymnasium for exercise . There are 3 elliptical, 5 runners and 2 stationary bikes , plus many weight lifting machines. I am impressed that it has clean towels , water fountain and cups , and an antiseptic wipe counter . It is so important to have antiseptic wipe in a gym to prevent transmission of germs . The Bistro has hot food for order and Starbucks coffee . Lady works there is super polite and helpful . The lobby area near by are well designed . You can relax to eat and chat , read a book or work on the laptop . There is an outdoor patio too if you like to go outdoor . The only draw back I have is the Starbucks does not provide Stevia ( Truvia ) sugar alternative. It is the most healthy , does not cause cancer and is highly recommended by doctors . In other coffee shops outside , they all have Truvia . I enjoy my stay here . I highly recommended this hotel . read more

Like many hotels, trying to pretend they have a full kitchen as they basically nuke precooked food in the back. just be real, don't offer food, you don't have a real kitchen, let people order the microwave food from the lobby market and face their fate with transparency. read more

Very nice hotel. I love how pretty snd modern everything is here. The staff was lovely, as well. This hotel was very COVID aware, too. Plenty of free masks if you needed one. Many bottles of sanitizer displayed prominently throughout the lobby. Great add-on! Staff was masked, too. Made me feel comfortable. The rooms were very nice and comfy. Everything was clean and fluffy. I loved my big soft bed. The noise level was minimal in the hallways and throughout the hotel. The hotel is easy to access from all major highways and well traveled streets. Access could not have been easier. Parking was plentiful and it was easy to get a parking place right in front of the hotel. Safety is always a concern for me and I never felt unsafe during my stay. Highly recommended hotel. Nice spacious Marriott location just outside of the big city of Kansas City. Well situated around shops and places to eat. We were doing some late night traveling so ripped in pretty late and left early. Service was very good. The lady at the desk gave us a good suggestion on a local non chain pizza joint that delivers. Once pizza was delivered we decide to take advantage of the nice patio. She seen we didn't have any plates so she went to the kitchen and grabbed us some to use. Went above and beyond for us. Room was very large and comfortable. No complaints on our end. Was very satisfied. read more

Business trip brought me here again, and I stayed here last time. Very nice and comfy stay, good Cust service, but the set always have difficulty giving me my room key through the app. I always have to go to the desk to check in. The breakfast is good, but they always have difficulty confirming my breakfast is included with my room. Otherwise, I enjoy this location. read more

There's a new sheriff in town! This Courtyard is definitely designed by business travelers for business travelers (if you can remember the old Dick Cavett commercials). They certainly got it right, although they still need to work on the employee training part. Brand new and located across from Buffalo Wild Wings, this Courtyard improved on the shortcomings of Courtyards past. Spacious open lobby area with their restaurant/bar directly across from the check in area. The staff was very friendly, although I was upsold on my room. The rooms themselves are very well designed with USB and 120VAC power almost everywhere. The bathroom has a large stall shower with fixed glass. The bed was very comfortable as well. Large TV and desk area. The fitness center was very impressive. Open 24/7, they have Matrix equipment including treadmills, cycles, ellipticals and strength machines such as chest press and leg press. Caution!---when driving from the Courtyard, be mindful that the right turn from the parking lot is tight and it's very easy to end up in the wrong lane----especially when its dark. It didn't happen to me, but could easily happen and should be fixed by the city. When checking out, my rate was changed to a higher rate. When I checked in, the clerk asked if I wanted a king room instead of the 2 queens. I mentioned I didn't care so she put me in the king room. As a Titanium, I thought it was part of the upgrade system. During checkout, I realized I was charge the extra $10 per night which they said they would credit me later. Be mindful of being upsold. As long as they continue to keep the hotel in great shape and train their staff, I'll be using this hotel exclusively. read more

Wow! Such a pleasant surprise as it is VERY hard to find a nice hotel in the USA right now if the Ritz or 4 Seasons isn't in your cards. Nia was the first to greet me at the front desk and I was blown away by her kindness and enthusiasm. My interactions with the rest of the staff have also been top notch. You can actually get a real, healthy, made-to-order breakfast and Starbucks latte in the lobby. Don't miss the little bar + awesome bartender in the evenings. 15/10 for Courtyard Olathe! read more

A very comfy hotel. Loved the lobby seating with a bunch of different nooks and the big TV's! I stay in in the Olathe area at least once a year, and every year I try a different hotel. Well, I may have found my permanent choice! Upon arrival, I was greeted by a very nice front desk clerk. She was able to give me all the necessary information I needed, as well as eating establishments that were still open at 11pm when I checked in. Although I DoorDash'ed food, which was pretty awesome nonetheless! The hotel is new, therefore, it is pretty much immaculate. My room had no odd scents or chemical smells. It was very nicely laid out, with the bed on the wall sharing the bathroom. There were ample plugs for all of my electronics, including USB plugs so I didn't need my actual chargers. The microwave and fridge were concealed in this interesting furniture piece, but it's still a nice amenity to have. The TV was huge, and you can stream your mobile device to it, which is a bonus. The bathroom was spacious with a huge shower. The bistro downstairs was a nice touch in the morning. I ordered a breakfast burrito and a latte and they were both good. They serve Starbucks Coffee at the bistro, so if that's not your particular brand, seek another establishment. There is a Black Bear Diner right across the parking lot, which as we Californians know, is basically a step above a Denny's. There are other dining establishments in the same shared parking lot, as well as a Target close by and a few other shops. If there was one gripe I had, it's that there wasn't enough dresser drawer space if you had more than three nights worth of clothing. Other than that, this is a fantastic hotel and is definitely devoid of any opening jitters or cobwebs. read more

Very clean and I am incredibly picky about how clean a hotel is. I never even questioned it here as I could see and smell easily how the room was cleanly. I did not manage to use any of the facilities like pool or a gym if they have anything like that--so I cannot attest to them being clean as well, but based on the rooms I am sure they are. My only reason for giving 4/5 stars is because I would expect at least a decent breakfast option but they only have a small selection of excessively overpriced food or drinks, and then a starbucks (which is overpriced enough on its own without additional hotel prices). To end on a positive note I would like to mention that the receptionist was very friendly and did not overcomplicate anything at all. Overall very positive experience. read more
