Vicki was outstanding! She was incredibly helpful when making our reservation and was there to warmly greet us again at check-in. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel very welcome. Our room was very clean, and the bathroom was as well. The hotel staff did an excellent job, and we had a very pleasant stay. The only issue we experienced was with the refrigerator. It seemed to operate on some type of timer rather than cooling continuously. We placed food in it before leaving for the day, but when we returned, the food was only slightly cool instead of properly cold. Unfortunately, we will probably have to throw it away. It would be wonderful if the refrigerators could maintain a consistent, food-safe temperature. Aside from that one issue, we were very pleased with our stay. Great hotel! I was very impressed with the staff and facilities from the moment I walked in. I was greeted as I came through the door and the desk clerk was very helpful with recommendations for a local sushi place as well as general information about the area. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. My only problem with the room was that there was no bottled water available in the fridge, and that would have been nice to make coffee in the morning. My favorite aspect of this stay for me, however, was not the comfortable bed or the free cookies in the lobby. It was the excellent bar area in the lobby. I stayed here twice while traveling through the area, and it was so enjoyable to have a place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening without having to leave the hotel. I also enjoyed an excellent breakfast here on my second stay. I was blown away with how good it was. The only issue here was I was charged separately for the breakfast, even though it was supposed to be included in the price I paid for the room. The young lady who checked me in and completed my transaction apologized because she was new and didn't know how to add in the price for the breakfast, Overall a very pleasant experience. From the outside, you would expect that this Courtyard by Marriott was a new building but it's not. The rooms are very clean but the bathroom and the vents have rust or oxidation on them. The floors are relatively quiet but from the 3rd floor, I could still hear footsteps during the evening from the ceiling. The front desk staff are friendly but not always on the ball with information provided to them by a 3rd party payer. Food ordered from the Bistro is just okay, not wonderful. I would suggest eating at an outside restaurant instead of the Bistro. read more

So here we are sitting for the second game of the World Series, and because this lovely establishment does not have local television you have to view via YouTube. But there seems to be a problem with that. So the lovely front desk gives you a helpdesk number and the helpdesk says oh it's internal. You may call your front desk. As far as hotels go in San Angelo, this is definitely one of the better options. Recently built, this Courtyard is modern, clean, quiet and priced right. We checked online and upon arrival our keys were ready. The room was a good size for two people and everything was clean. I liked the many lighting options, numerous plugs and charging spots in the room. Our room also included a mini-fridge and microwave. The bathroom was clean and modern. The Paul Mitchell soap, shampoo, etc is a nice touch compared to most places generic options. While we didn't use it the hotel has a bar, which also serves Starbucks coffee and food options. At check-out the total price was correct and the manager friendly. We will definitely consider this location on our next visit. read more

It was a horrible experience. I made a reservation a few months in advance, and no room was available on the day of my stay. I was told they gave my room away because they were overbooked. I am Titanium Elite with Marriott, and they could care less about customer experience. I have contacted the Corporate office, and I am waiting for a response. If you decide to make a reservation here, be careful; it's not truly a reservation. We even did mobile checkin and called the hotel the day of to confirm. Still didn't save us a room. I have left messages for the general manager to contact me, and it's been over a week, and still no contact. Customer beware. read more

First time in San Angelo and stayed in this hotel. Located in Southwest Blvd, it is one among the several hotels in this stretch, including Residence Inn, Home2, and Springhill suites. Upon entering, you are greeted by the main reception area and really nice, modern-looking seating areas. They have a Starbucks within the hotel. They also serve lunch, dinner and drinks in the lobby. Staff are very cordial and friendly Our room was on the second floor and very clean and spacious. I like the modern feel and the super comfy bed. The fridge and microwave are hidden in a cool looking closet and there is no shortage charging stations in the room - usb or plugs. The study desk has a built in charging station and each bedside table flanking the bed also has a charging station. The bathroom is clean and apacious, with basic amenities provided such as toiletries and hairdryer Wi-fi is free but no breakfast included. It was a pleasant stay all in all. Had a very good experience staying here. We booked online and got a great price and the check in was smooth. They have a bar area that also has food available. They offer several beer brands and we got a couple and sat outside by the fire pit. Really nice area outside, in addition to the fire pit there is also a separate seating area with a tv. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. It's a fairly new property so it has a new look to it. There were multiple outlets and charging ports located around the room, which was a nice touch. The shower is not entirely enclosed which I've seen at other properties, but not really a fan because the floor invariably gets wet. Overall a good room for the price and we all got a great nights rest and we really enjoyed the fire pit area. read more

Terrible probably the worst hotel experience. upon arrival the front desk lady argued with us for 15 mins about one out of our three rooms wasnt ready an hour after scheduled check in. the lady was continuously saying it wouldn't be ready for another twenty minutes after twenty minuets. Once our room was ready we received a room on a different floor after being promised they would all be on the same floor and multiple room keys werent properly activated for us and other guest -- later we decided to go to the pool which wasnt "ready" until after 5... and then a guest and one of my family members had step on broken class. once the front desk was notified, no apologies were made and the staff did not sweep/clean up the glass until an hour later. and no staff member checked the pool for glass, which is where a child was cut by it. the pools person capacity for covid-19 was 10 people max and there were well over 15 people. Completely disappointed as we love staying at courtyards and this one was a complete disaster within 3 hours of being here. read more

A nice new Courtyard in San Angelo. What could go wrong? Shoddy construction. Got no sleep in our 3rd floor room listening to every step, door closing, and other noise coming from above. Thank god the insomniac above us didn't watch TV or we would have had to listen to that also. It was miserable and so unnecessary. This hotel is clean and comfortable, but dark (not much lighting) and has a bit of a cheap feel. I've stayed twice, the second time due to my assistant mistakenly booking there instead of across the street (I checked out in the morning and went across the street). The night desk staff is pretty inattentive and mostly unable to do much but check in and out. Nothing special about this hotel. Note, the rooms DO NOT have refrigerators. They have electric coolers that work for 2 hours, then shut off. If you need to keep something cool for more than 2 hours, like medication or breast milk, do not stay here. read more

The accommodations at this hotel were great! They have a nice outdoor fireplace, which is an inviting place to enjoy a drink from the bar. The pool and Jacuzzi were well maintained and clean. But while the place is new and clean and welcoming, the staff was not friendly. We got the feeling they did not care whether they maintained our business or not. We were going to stay an additional seven nights, which would've earned them an additional $700. But they jacked up their prices because an event was in town and they refused to give us the government rate. I doubt our room earned them $700 during the period of the event. Overall, impressed with the location, not impressed with the service. I'd rather stay at the Fairfield Inn in San Angelo, where the people are friendly and it is obvious they want your business. read more

Holy smokes this hotel is awesome. It is uber modern in the rooms. Everything is extremely clean... and the staff is so amazingly courteous. This is probably one of the best hotels I've stayed in 2016. Next time I'm in San Angelo for business, I actually be looking forward to staying here again, which is saying something considering that I'm typically not a fan of hotel life. read more

This place is beautiful and I appreciate the staff calling me by name. Room had adequate A/C and it was important because outside it was 106 F ! The work out room had a nice exterior view and the equipment was up and running in good order. The restaurant had a nice homey feel to it and the food there was top notch and well made! All new, clean and a great deal! We just needed a nice place to sleep, relax and have a nice shower on a road trip. My only (very minor) complaint is that the shower took a minute to adjust temperatures after I turned the nob and there's no curtain so it's chilly until the bathroom heats up. Great people, great room and amenities. This is a beautiful new modern hotel that is extremely clean, quiet and comfortable. No design details were missed -even the iron has a headlight on it so you don't miss those pesky wrinkles. Bed and sitting area very comfortable. Gorgeous fire pit to hang out at in the evening. Nice pool and hottub. Wifi works great with plenty of outlets by both sides of bed and at desk for electronics. Staff very attentive and hospitable.
