My neighbor and I went in on a new fence and hired 707 Fence after getting a few bids. Jen visited…read morethe site and gave us a reasonable quote, addressed a few concerns we had. Alex and his crew showed up on time and worked with our particular requests while being very careful to avoid an old water line we were concerned about. Alex was very communicative and made sure to check in with us and walk us through our options, briefing us during the process in a way that was refreshingly welcomed. Normally communication is the weak area of modern contractors and cause of issues, so we were grateful. I would highly recommend 707 for your fence job. They made it easy, exceeded our expectations, and are my go-to for future fence / gate jobs or whatever else would be in their wheelhouse.

Alex and his 707 Fence crew were excellent from start to finish. We had a friend who had his fence…read moredone by 707 and the work was exceptional so we hired 707. Alex was responsive and offered a very fair quote. The fence was even better and more beautiful than we imagined. Quality: very high quality redwood and expert craftsmanship. Efficiency: they removed the old fence and built 150 feet of new fence with lattice in just 2 days (3-man team). Communication: Alex came by each day to ensure his guys were doing what we wanted and was available to discuss things like where to put the gate. Crew: the guys were friendly and even helped replace a rotting plank in our deck. (I picked up the 2x6 at the lumber yard). They were easygoing and respectful of our privacy. Completion: it was clear that 707's builders take pride in their work and wanted to make us happy. Overall: my wife and I feel we got great value and really appreciate the hard work done on our fence.

My husband and I are very happy and absolutely satisfied with "Diaz Landscaping!" Father and sons,…read moreAlmiro, Brian & Pablito, along with their crew did such a fabulous job with our landscaping! They also built our side gate as they not only do landscaping. They also build fences and gates! They are true professionals, honest, dependable, extremely meticulous and they show up with big smiles on their faces! Without a doubt, I, along with my husband, highly recommend "Diaz Landscaping!" Apart from the beautiful salvias, wonderful palm trees, lovely cherry trees, enchanting birds of paradise and pretty bougainvilleas they planted, they also installed magnificent lights throughout our landscaping! Everything is amazing! Hats off to "Diaz Landscaping" for a job so excellently done! Spectacular!!!

Recently we were hearing running water in our yard and were unable to find the source. A plumber…read moretold us it was likely our irrigation system, which we don't even use. I found Diaz Landscaping online and filled out a request form. I heard back in about 2 minutes, and Brian offered to come the next day! Once he and his dad arrived, they were able to quickly identify that the situation was actually a lot worse - a major copper pipe burst underground - and nothing to do with irrigation at all. Instead of just leaving me to figure out next steps on my own, they gave me guidance, referrals, called their contacts to get back up options in line, and were incredibly attentive. Happy to report that I used their plumber recommendation (Amesos) and the issue was cleared up that same day. I asked for a referral for a landscape designer, and they gave me one who came over the next day, and I'm looking forward to hiring Diaz to do the work if we move forward. They have certainly earned my loyalty through their customer service!

Joe, Miguel, and team at Expert Gate Company have been great to work with. The scope of our project…read morewas in two parts: replace our driveway gate and make it powered, and then later replace the front fence and pedestrian gate, this time incorporating a built-in parcel box and security hardware. Expert Gate's craftsmanship is rock solid and we're really happy with the results. We live on a downslope hill with MANY utility lines underground to literally work around. It was a complicated project that required an entirely custom fabrication to follow the grade of the ground, with posts in really specific positions. We worked with Joe as our Project Manager, and throughout the process he was attentive and receptive to feedback, quote negotiations, and design requests along the way. There were 3 things that popped up over the duration of the project. We kept having issues with the gate operator that took longer than anyone wanted to deal with. It ended up being a series a faulty parts from Liftmaster, and nothing to do with the installation from these guys. Additionally, there were a couple of details that I wish were incorporated into the quotes, such as measurements and design mockups (we had to talk about a couple of things and make decisions in real time, which could have been mitigated if we had more specifics on the quote & planning process). Finally, the overarching project time for the front fence did take a little longer than expected. We had to have the front of the house in a bit of a construction state for a few weeks, but ultimately the end result is polished and very well executed, and we're happy with how everything turned out. Those minor issues aside, were still glad to have worked with EG and will gladly work with them in the future. Thanks again to Joe, Miguel, and the crew!

Update: found someone else who was able to fix everything without moving the posts at all. Insanity…read morethat I was going to let these guys swap out my aluminum posts for iron posts that wouldn't even match my gate. So I ask again, what are these guys experts at? Initial experience was bad. Sales guy came, was short with me, seems uninterested. Promised to give a quote. Waited 4 days. Didn't get a reply. I wrote a bad review and moved on. Owner contacted me asking me to remove the review and he can help me out with my gate job. I needed someone to help fix a botched gate install job so agreed. The job was to remove two existing posts and replace it with new steel posts. The price quoted for TWO posts were not cheap. He seems to think he's doing me favor for labor only but it was not cheap. It cost the same amount as the full job by the other company for the full install. I'm OK with it because at that point I wanted a job to be done by someone who knows how to do the work. Of course, I found out the reason they're expensive because they SUBCONTRACT to another company that specializes in gates. Are they the expert or is the subcontractor the expert? Nevertheless, I waited a week and a half for the scheduled date. The night before, he text me and ask if I have two steel posts that they need. They quoted me a very high amount to fix two posts but does not provide the materials for the fix. These guys are supposed to be experts in STEEL gates but do not have the materials for STEEL. So what are they experts in? Subcontracting? Reselling gate install service? What irritates me is that he sprung this on me at the last moment the day before. Our conversation was that the quoted price includes labor and materials to fix except for the extra materials that are needed that are ALUMINUM which I purchased. The fact that he asked me to provide STEEL materials at the last possible moment was maybe because (a) he misquoted me or (b) the subcontractors wanted more money to do the work. In any case, I cancelled the job. I cannot trust a company that bait and switch. If you misquote, then you own the difference, not spring it on your customer at the last moment.
