When you first walk inside there is a guy at this window trying to quickly size up what your purpose to the shop is. And although it was a bit strange by normal standards, I realize that this shop is a far cry from the chaotic "anything goes" type shops I've heard about around here. The waiting area up front is seperated from the chairs in the back. Which ironically made the shop feel a lot calmer than normal shops Where everybody is sitting in one room screaming, debating, or trying to get their point across. It's almost like you're going to a nail shop or spa!! BEWARE! THE APPOINTMENT SYSTEM IS IN FULL EFFECT HERE!!!! I was alarmed when a lot of older guys walked in and went right past me and into the chair ahead of me after waiting 30 mins. But the cut was worth the wait. The barber was very nice and experienced and gave me the best flattop I've had ever!!!! And those are honestly tough to cut! Most times when i ask for it they just ramp it up with no scissors or shaping. But this was a totally different experience. And since there was no talking or commotion, the focus was on my head at all times. Priceless nowadays. This is by far what a barbershop experience should be. Calm, relaxing, and productive.
