I had heard of Cova through the grapevines of Facebook, and a visit to my mother on a holiday weekend led us to head there to take a peek! Walking in, the aesthetic of the store is BEAUTIFUL. Very clean and open and inviting and streamlined. I didn't feel like I was squeezing through aisles. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted warmly and was offered help! I wish I got her name! She helped my momma get some products for her hair and she was SO knowledgeable and made great recommendations. I will make it my business to frequent Cova if I'm in the area! I had heard that this place was one of the largest beauty supply stores and I couldn't​ wait to visit. There is tons of parking in front and the area is clean and everything looks new. When you first walk in you are greeted by one of the sweetest associates ever and asked if you need help finding anything. The store has specific sections in order to find exactly what you're​ looking for. Please see the photos. If you have natural hair and are looking for natural hair products you can find them on the Natural Hair Wall. What I like about this store was that it was extremely​ clean and organized.Things weren't​ crowded and dusty like most beauty supply​ stores. She had all the name brand products and they also had several products that can only​ be ordered online in store. it was so refreshing​ to be able to locate everything I needed in​ one place. I got a chance to meet with the owner, Dianna who even gave me a tour, she who was not only professional​, ​she was also beautiful as well. She was very knowledgeable​ about the products in her​ store and actually uses them. Most of the people don't know what I'm talking about or asking for when I go to a supply store. They barely know where the products are or even what they do have. However, she was able to give me specific instruction on how to use certain products and she could speak to the benefits of the products as well. The atmosphere​ was different than any other beauty supply store it even smelled amazing. I purchased​ several products and so did my daughter. We can't wait to try her recommendations and return very soon. I love this beauty supply store! It's convenient and close and the prices seem reasonable compared to what I'm used to posting for certain items. I've been coming here since they first opened. The owner is super sweet and recognizes me whenever I come in and always offers her help and opinion when I need her. The store is huge and unlike a lot of other places I've gone to it isn't over crowded and you're able to see everything in the shelf. Probably one of the most organized beauty supply stores I've ever been to. I think that may be my favorite characteristic of the store. The only thing I can say that is bad about the store is I've found myself not able to get certain braiding hair that I need and have to go to another to find it but the chemicals, shampoos, gels, proteins and everything are always on point. Plus, she also supports black owned businesses and have their products in her store! If you're ever in Stockbridge, definitely stop in. read more

I was in need of hair for braids. The store opened up at APPROXIMATELY 10:00 a.m. on the dot. A young lady stood at the door looking at her watch and didn't open until it was 10:00:00. ‍. There was another lady waiting in the parking lot beside me as well. When the door was opened I went in and asked if they had braiding hair (Freetress). The young lady who assisted me took me to the aisle and the selection was very limited. I wanted to patronize them but they didn't have what I needed. The store was clean and organized. I've heard all good things about this place via social media. One of the things that peeked my interest is that this place is black-owned. Upon arriving I noticed how spacious and clean this beauty shop was. I had more than enough room to shop and not be under anyone. The associates named Brea and Christina was very sweet and greeted me upon arriving in the store. Brea, helped me pick a color for my hair extensions for a hairstyle and very informative on their inventory. The store has everything pertaining to beauty: hair, skin care, nails, grooming kits for men and women, and so much more. They have been at this location for 4 years now, and I'm just stumbling across their establishment. It's a shame on my part but I am glad I've been introduced to such a wonderful beauty shop. I had the nicest most FRIENDLY experience at Cova beauty supply store today. I was a little leery at first as I was not greeted as I walked in but shortly after Christina walked over and asked me if I needed help. I listed everything that I needed and she patiently showed me where each item was and even pointed out a new product that I was interested in trying. Man I had to write this review because I was totally IMPRESSED with this place. I have been looking for a "black owned" beauty store with amazing products as well as incredible customer service. Cova is THAT PLACE. Upon walking into the store I was greeted IMMEDIATELY with smiles and assistance by the very beautiful Jordan and Sarah. I want to give a special shout out to Sarah. Sarah helped me so much today. I have decided to get crochet braids for the first time in my entire life and wanted to get the right hair. Sarah gave me a full breakdown of what kind of hair to get based off of my hair goal. My goal is to achieve a natural look with crochet hair (meaning a look that will give the impression that the crochet hair is my own hair). Not only did she help with picking out my hair she recommended maintenance products for crochet braids. I am so happy that my experience was so positive at this place. I can see myself getting addicted to this place but when you're experience is positive you'll WANT to spend more money (this is key). I don't mind spending extra at Cova. read more
