The house was very nice and clean. The only real problem there, was no internet or cable. So if you want to stream, you better make sure you have either a roku or google chrome cast with you. Since none of the TV are smart tv's! Also the internet is a little buffering problem. If you wpn't have cable then at least for the amount you pay, have a smart tv. Or just have cable based on what they want to rent the place!

Now I can't get anybody to even answer when I call. I"ve called several times for the last three days. I've even resubmitted the form for the place I'd like to rent and have not gotten any response. I'd be happy if they'd just say they can't rent the cottage to me - at least I'd know. And it would be nice if they met their claim of a response within 24 hours. Perhaps there are problems at the office of which I'm unaware but, regardless the reason, the performance is extremely poor. Jennifer is a wonderful host and is so helpful on the property and what's going on around town. The area is quiet, clean, peaceful. The cottages are fully furnished with all you need in the kitchen. Each cottage is appointed with everything, outdoor showers, bbq grill even charcoal to get you started. And they are Clean. This matters. Some cape cabins or rooms tend to be musty or messy. Sorry, but I've been coming here for 45 years and nothing's changed. Cottage grove cottages are impeccable. This is a quiet refuge from kiddos. Sorry, but that's my take on it. There is no pool, no playground, none of that. Plenty of those elsewhere and that's where the kids are. Go enjoy that if that is what you need. This is quiet and wonderful for adults, couples, singles, artists, empty nesters or anyone wanting to get away from screaming, kids crying and yelling, parents, cursing, car horns.... Ah. Back to serenity. Isn't that better? This is the best there is. Close enough to PTown, Wellfleet and Truro. Go to Nauset lobster pool, get a few and bring it back for a nice dinner on your picnic table. Stars are out. You got back from free music on the beach. The pizza had sliced fig, shaved prosciutto, honey ricotta, garlic olive oil, and baby arugula. It was very tasty. It took about 15 minutes for the pizza to be ready. The rosé was poured into a plastic cup. The staff members were very friendly. I really adored my time on The Front Lawn on a weekday evening. When we arrived about 5:30pm, it wasn't too crowded yet but as it got later in the evening, groups of people started to appear. We relished our food and drink and played some lawn games. It was so nice to be outside and take in the fresh air. The Front Lawn is a great spot for families and offers a relaxed, open-air atmosphere. I was unimpressed with the professionalism shown to me by Arwen from the get-go, through the site visit, and post site visit. Arwen was supposed to send me a link to the property online so I could view it (it hadn't been posted yet so when it was posted she was going to send me the link), but she never got around to doing it. When I visited the home for an on-site visit, it was a mess and Arwen told me to "use my imagination" in regards to it being clean. She couldn't answer questions like "Does this house have central air?" She rudely told me, "if you want information all you have to do is type in the website and go look." She was rude over the phone and didn't seem to care that she wanted my business, even after I asked to speak with her Manager and she responded by saying "I AM the Manager around here." I can't work with someone who clearly couldn't care less about providing even adequate service in a service industry. I decided that while I liked the property I wasn't going to support a company with such poor service.

The agents were very helpful, the house was great, just as they appeared online. The only problem we ran into was logging into their WiFi, we contacted the agent and she responded right away, and helped us out so our kids could get onto their phones and we could sit on the deck with a glass of wine and watch the sun go down. We hope to come back again next year and will book thru this agency again.
