**We had A Delightful Stay in Yarmouth, MA** Our recent stay at this charming bed and breakfast in Yarmouth was an absolute treat. From the moment we arrived, the hosts were accommodating, and even Mother Nature seemed to be in on the hospitality--the weather was perfect throughout our visit. Our friends arriving from NYC recommended the spot since they stayed once prior our visit. This historic property is ideally located, just a short distance from the beaches, making it a breeze to enjoy the sun and surf. Our morning walks could not have been better and complete with Cape Cod views! We rented a Jeep for the trip and were pleasantly surprised to find a garage available, which made storing parts and beach gear super convenient. Thoughtful amenities elevated the experience, including umbrellas, beach chairs, and an unexpected highlight--unlimited Prosecco! The attention to detail was impressive, and you can find even more about their offerings online, as they're remarkably well organized. One of our favorite features was the music room, which houses a Yamaha baby grand piano, multiple saxophones, and guitars--a dream setup. Breakfast was perfect and always on time. All allergies were respected and delivery was flawless. I remember once we had to leave early and the owners have packed our snack To-Go. Wow! This B&B truly blends comfort, creativity, and convenience into a memorable Cape Cod getaway. It is highly recommended. read more

This week, I had the pleasure of spending three nights at the Inn on Main to celebrate my birthday. Chris and Sarah are terrific innkeepers and I had a great time. Took a ride to Provincetown (P-town) and enjoyed seeing some of the many lighthouses along the way. I'm looking forward to another trip in the near future and take in a whale watching trip. Inn on Main is the best bed and breakfast experience we've ever had! Chris and Sarah are the most kind, gracious hosts and have thought of every detail to make your stay the best it can be. Starting with check-in, Chris waited up for us when we ran behind schedule and arrived late. What a treat to be welcomed by homemade chocolate chip toffee cookies as well as a 24/7 chilled beverage station (well stocked with water, soda, seltzers, beer and wine). Our room (the Yarmouth) had the most luxurious king bed and fine linens, a SmartTV with great new movies, an in-room AC unit, and was stocked with eco-friendly soaps. Our favorite part of every day was being treated to Chris' 5-star 2-course breakfasts and hanging out with Crocker, their sweet and sociable rescue puppy. Each breakfast we had felt like a fine dining experience, so delicious was their food and stunning was their presentation. Chris even shared notes on how to recreate some of his masterpiece meals at home. The location is great as well - the Inn is on a quiet street so you can relax without worry but only a short drive to beaches or whatever Cape attraction you're looking for. They are excellent with their COVID-19 precautions, including requiring masks in common areas (when others are around), having hand sanitizer available in rooms and throughout the house, and wearing gloves during breakfast service. Saying goodbye to Chris, Sarah, and Crocker was bittersweet but we can't wait to return and make Inn on Main our go-to cape destination. read more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Inn on Main and had a lovely experience. I highly recommend this spot. The inn is conveniently located minutes from amazing beaches and restaurants, one of which is just a quick walk down the street. The room was so thoughtfully decorated and included everything we could have possibly needed. Sarah and Chris are terrific hosts and made us feel right at home. The breakfast in the morning was phenomenal and the patio setting was quiet and peaceful. Great for a nice getaway from the city. I cannot wait to come back! read more

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn on Main! Sarah and Chris were so welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable about the area, the room was cozy, clean, and comfortable, and we had a delicious breakfast made both days we were there. The Inn is also pet friendly which was such a plus since we could bring our doggy Max who was also welcomed by homemade dog biscuits! This place is top-notch! Sarah and Chris (Innkeepers) really rolled out the red carpet and welcomed us as if we were family. You can tell that they put a great deal of time and effort to think of every single detail to make us feel at home. The sheets were so soft and our room was very spacious. We also cannot forget the amazing homemade breakfasts with a touch of local influences. In addition to the relaxing venue, it is right in the middle of Cape Cod making it an easy starting point for your days excursions - including to Martha's Vineyard and Provincetown. On a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being best, I would rate the Inn on Main in Yarmouth, Cape Cod, Massachusetts a "6." Chris and Sarah, the Inn Keepers, make you feel at home from the moment you arrive until the minute you depart. As you enter the Inn, you are immediately transported to the beauty of New England summers on the Cape. Shades of blue with contrasting whites predominate the color scheme of the main floor which is reflective of the warmth of the Cape's beaches and ocean waters. Each room has its own unique character which is indicative of the Inn Keeper's excellent eye for design. The two course gourmet breakfasts are a superb treat to both your taste buds and your eyes as each course is plated like a work of art. Course one is a delicious fruit dish that varies each morning and course two may be a delectable egg dish or exquisitely light scrumptious pancake with flavorful accompaniments. As an added bonus, the Inn accepts canine and select feline guests. If you are a dog lover, you will fall in love with the third Inn Keeper, Crocker. Crocker, who is a rescue, is a magnificent black dog with white accents on his coat and expressive, big brown eyes. He will happily greet guests with a paw shake or a high five. With or without pets, a stay at the Inn on Main will be a wonderful experience that you will long remember. All Covid precautions are in place. read more

We loved everything about the Inn on Main. Great central location, walking distance to the local shops and Edward Gorey's home. A short drive to the beaches, including the amazing Gray's Beach. Pet friendly with plenty of space to take your dog out and Crocker was a delight. Our pup Erik got along great with him. But it was the hosts, Sarah & Chris, who really made our stay memorable. The breakfasts were honestly the best we've experienced at any inn. Great conversations. They attended to every need and went above and beyond including leaving a bottle of Prosecco in the room because we were celebrating a birthday. Every day they cooked a different breakfast, my favorite was this breakfast panini thing. I never thought of panini as a breakfast food- but brie cheese & bacon made it both fancy and breakfasty. The TVs had a zillion channels- seriously, there's even a Bob Ross channel. There's a bunch of stuff in walking distance, and it was great that they were pet friendly. The left fresh baked cookies for us and fresh baked cookies for the dog too. My family come from RI to visit while we were here, and they set up the patio so that we could all eat together outside cuz ya know- pandemic. They even brought out patio heaters. We loved staying here and day tripping all around the cape and what not. read more

We just returned from a trip on the cape this weekend and had a lovely stay at Inn on Main. Innkeepers, Chris, Sarah and Crocker (their border collie mix), were gracious hosts and our family had a great time. Most attractions were about 15-20 min away so the location is perfect. Chris makes amazing two course breakfasts, there is a complimentary drinks/snack bar in the living room open throughout the day and fresh baked cookies and lemonade in the afternoon. We even brought our dog, Sesame, and Chris and Sarah had helpful pet friendly recommendations for lunch/dinner. Look forward to our next visit at the Inn! read more

It's a challenge to adequately describe in a few words how much we enjoyed our stay at the Inn on Main. Yarmouth Port is perfectly located on the Cape, and Sarah and Chris have created the perfect B&B. The first thing that caught our eye was how well maintained and clean the inn was. The grounds, setting and attention to detail throughout the property invites you to sit back and relax. Sarah and Chris have a knack for giving you whatever space/privacy you desire while also being extremely attentive to your needs. They are a delightful and fascinating couple and amazing innkeepers. The included breakfasts and local coffee were out of this world and were a great start to each day! We were celebrating our 40th anniversary and have stayed in and enjoyed many B&Bs along the way. I found this Inn on a whim when my husband and I decided to take a long weekend trip to Cape Cod and we were so happy we decided to stay here. The breakfast each day was fantastic, the bed was very comfortable (the linens were so soft it reminded me of what I use at home) and they really thought of everything when it comes to what you might need. I have stayed at a lot of different hotels and inns and for comparable pricing you don't get anything close to what they offer here. Highly recommend!! read more
