My mother has Dementia and had damaged her hearing aides recently. I can't describe how much more difficult it is to manage a dementia patient who cannot hear. Unfortunately, the location that I used to bring her to has closed, so we went to this Port Washington location. When I explained what had happened to Jody and Dr. Sophia, they informed me that my mothers insurance was no longer accepted by the organization, but they still wanted to help me given the difficult circumstances. This isn't just great customer service this is incredible human kindness. They repaired my mothers hearing aides while we chatted and shared pleasant conversation. I didn't even know that she was repairing the units while we were talking. I thought she was prepping them to be shipped for warranty repair/replacement. I can't say enough about how much I appreciated this kind and helpful gesture. All I can say is no customer service program will deliver this type of care, without wonderful, caring, human beings delivering it.
