I just got home from this office after getting a Cerac crown. Amazing, I cannot tell which is the tooth that was done! The office is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and every member of the staff was helpful, friendly and efficient. Dr Sami was kind, considerate of my comfort, and his skills are incredible! He explained every step of the procedure and was utterly pain free! I am going to go back to him again to replace work previously done elsewhere!!! I am writing an update of my review now that I've been at this practice for 3 years. Everything I mentioned in my original review still holds true. The office staff are so sweet and they know me and my husband on a first-name basis. I am moving to CA this year and they offered to email my most recent x-rays to my next dentist. I haven't chosen a dentist out there yet, so they had me sign a health records release form for when I request the x-rays in the future. How proactive is that?! They always send a feedback survey after each of my visits so they can know how to improve. Instead, I've opted to write a public review to share it with the community. Entire family disappointed by bedside manner and reception area attitudes: bringing kids elsewhere

Is it possible to have a pleasant experience at the dentist? I never thought so until I went to Gold Coast Smiles. Dr.Sami and staff are super nice and super gentle for a "dental chicken" like me! The office is clean and you can relax in the comfy chair while you watch tv and for those of us that have "dentist anxiety", you can have the"laughing gas", which really helps with the anxiety. What a fantastic dental office. Everyone is pleasant, competent, concerned for the patient and their needs. I never had to wait more then a few minutes for any appointment, which to me at least,is important and a sign of a well run practice. Dr. Sami is a master at cosmetic dentistry. Mine is still a work in progress and yet,the results are a 100% improvement from when I walked into his office! I cant wait for the final results. I was referred to Dr. Sami by a professional in the dental field and recently completed extensive work. There is so much to share about my experience, I hardly know where to begin...perhaps by walking into their office! The staff is delightful; always pleasant, helpful and welcoming. The surroundings are beautiful as well, but this office is the most punctual, and you rarely have the opportunity to sit in the reception area before you're assisted toward Dr. Sami's treatment room. (The doctor must work hard to maintain his very tight daily schedule.) Although there are multiple treatment rooms, the doctor is a solo practitioner, so you can always be assured, he personally will care for you, stay on your case and work with you from start to completion! Dr. Sami relies on and works closely alongside the most experienced, most competent and congenial dental assistants in the field. As a patient in Dr. Sami's chair, as he works, he explains exactly what is being done and what you can expect, as he continues to guide throughout his procedure. Lastly, but surely most important, was my finished project; after several months I left with the healthiest and most beautiful "mouth" I've had in a very long time. Dr. Andrew Sami and his staff are the most professional, caring, and welcoming group of health care professionals I have ever had the privilege of working with. After being turned away or either had my dental case made worse by many dental teams, I finally found the holy grail of dentists in Glen Cove, NY! My dental case was one of the most stressful experiences of my entire life and without Dr. Andrew Sami, I would not have been able to move on from the dental horror story cards that I was dealt. I would not be able to feel as good as I now do, both emotionally and aesthetically. My case took months to resolve and is still an ongoing process and I could not feel more at peace knowing that I have Dr. Andrew Sami and his staff on my side for the rest of my journey. With any emergency or concerns I had, Dr. Sami was right there on the other side of the phone to console and reassure me that he would fix things and that is exactly what he did each and every time. Not only was he always available to speak to no matter the time of day, Dr. Sami always fit me into the earliest appointment time possible to relieve me of any distress. Aside from the entire staff's extremely professional and caring bedside manner, their office is in one of the best locations, is kept very clean, and the entire aura of the office is extremely comforting which makes the entire "going to the dentist" experience a lot easier since it can be a stressful and uneasy task to overcome for people of all ages.
