My boss rented a boat just like this for a corporate event and it was a huge hit! Tips: Fishing poles are provided but let them know about fishing in advance so the best bait can be supplied. There's an emergency bathroom on the boat but a better bathroom to use is at the marina and he's able to make stops. Let him know before you get on if you want to swim and he'll take you to a great swimming spot. I use a floaty in the water because I get nervous and it was fine. The boat fits comfortably four adult guests and five if one guest is a child. The boat ride was quite relaxing. We stayed in the river and only ventured into Saco Bay once Captain Joe determined it was going to be a comfortable for everyone.

We brought a small soft sided cooler with us and had some snacks and a couple of adult beverages while we enjoyed looking at the beautiful Maine coastline. There is a large parking lot right next to the boat docks where you can park for a small fee. Parking is good for the day and there are a ton of shops and restaurants within walking distance. He did a nice job explaining some of the history of the area, pointed out some noteable waterfront homes and who their owners were and pulled up a few lobster traps from the water to get a close up and learn a little more about the delicious crustaceans. The trip is reasonably priced (which is a plus for any family vacationing in the area because EVERYTHING here is pretty expensive). The weather was excellent and my group had a really nice time with the crew and other folks on the tour with us. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking to fill a few hours throughout the day and gain a little local knowledge of the area.

We determined our arrival time and set it up. We were greeted by the most friendlies people and they offered to sit in the lounge area (A/C) and they had fun beverages for purchase, while you waited. The captain of the taxi vessel was fantastic and professional We arrived just a few minutes late for the reservation and still surprised the birthday boy. Oh, you pay the captain of the vessel when you arrive to your destination and they take cash or card. So easy and really not that expensive. Thank you.

Captain John has a route that he follows but is always willing to veer off that path if there's something at sea that might be cool for the passengers to see.
