I bought two sessions and had my mom join me. We were very nervous for obvious reasons and did not know what to expect. My girl Annie was super friendly and eased my nerves as this was my first time receiving this kind of treatment. The spa was very clean and the tools were all sterilized. The owner was very kind and personable and gave me a coupon to use on my next visit! I think that if you are a Groupon user and pay half of what the normal retail value you can't expect the most amazing treatment ever. However this visit completely exceeded my expectations and was well worth the 40 dollars I paid for a 100 dollar treatment. My time at Cove Wellness was quite possibly the best money I've ever spent. I was amazed at how much I learned there, and how great I felt after my visit! Lisa, Kristina and the whole staff there are the friendliest, most welcoming and professional I've ever known. I was slightly apprehensive the first time I tried colon hydrotherapy. Kristina helped me to feel comfortable and relaxed all throughout the three procedures I experienced during my first visit. I have been back since, and cannot recommend it highly enough. I really enjoyed the foot detox spa. This step is the last of the three and very relaxing. You can literally see the toxins dissolving away! The staff is so knowledgeable and was able to answer every question I had. Our health is the most important thing we have next to family and it can't be replaced. When I left Cove, I could really tell a tangible physical difference and that my body had been cleansed of so many toxins that plague our every day life. I've heard nothing but great things about this place UNTIL I made an appointment to try it. I'm sure it would be great if I actually could have made my appointment. I had the address but my GPS was broken so I called to get directions... After receiving their voicemail 5 times (during operating hours) I still could not find the place. I called 2 more times and must have interrupted the receptionist's lunch because she just picked up the phone and hung up on me!!!! Twice in a row!!! I could hear the phone being answered and then hung up!! I called back again and received the vm so I left a message saying that I could not believe how they treat their customers and to cancel my appointment because I was not coming anymore! (After driving 20 mins in a circle) After about 10 minutes I get a call from LISA who then decides to blame it on "phone trouble" and the fact that I couldn't find their establishment! After I decided I did not want to argue about fault and "phone trouble" anymore I hung up. Lisa called me back just to bitch me out and comment on my "maturity"! Really??!!!?? LISA called me back just to instigate another argument??? Who taught these people about customer relations?? This place is AWFUL and I WOULD NOT recommend it!!! This place should be renamed Cove HELLness! HORRIBLE customer service! I didn't even make it to the place because because the phone customer service was so bad!! How is a customer expected to feel comfortable getting a colon hydrotherapy treatment when the customer service provided over the phone was so rude. I spoke to the business owner who made it very clear that her business needs (making money) was more important than providing customer service and health & wellness to people. I purchased a living social deal for myself (1 per customer), and my friend gifted (purchased) a voucher to me. The owner said I was not allowed to use my gift. How ridiculous is that!! I have NO control over the gifts that people give. Her exact statement: "I cannot afford to subsidize your wellness care if you have two vouchers. I will go out of business if I let everyone redeem two vouchers." No, lady, you will go out of business because your customer service sucks! The amount of money spent is still the same- two different people bought vouchers, the only difference is that 1 person is using both vouchers!! So, the owner clearly doesn't care about ones health and wellness if she's not squeezing as much money as she can from one single customer. She must not be getting many repeat customers to have to try to get as much mine as she can from every individual customer. I now see why she has 3.5 stars on yelp. I should've checked yelp before I purchased the deal. Thankfully, living social has AWESOME customer service and refunded my voucher and my gifted voucher AND gave me an additional $5 for my horrible experience with Cove Wellness. read more

This place does not deserve even one star....i have never been treated so rudely before... horrible, horrible, horrible, service. Lisa, who does the scheduling, (or may be the owner,) is probably one of the rudest people(who is in the service industry) i've ever spoken to for obtaining spa services or any king of service for that matter. I scheduled my appointment online (to use my groupon) and waited to receive confirmation for my appointment as it clearly states you can only 'reserve' a time and date and it is not an appointment until they confirm it. Well, apparently, they send out an email confirmation, which i never received, to confirm appointments. they do not call you. I called in the day before my appointment to confirm to find out that they scheduled me on the wrong day. after speaking to lisa, she would not reschedule me with using my groupon. even after explaining i never received any kind of confirmation. She was very rude, indignant and does not care or act like she needs any new customers. I was genuinely excited to use some of their servcies and probably would have become a regular client..but not now...not after the way she treated me. she more or less hung up on me after stating she had been on the phone since 6AM. very unprofessional and very disappointing. Her attitude was highly unacceptable in any situation not to mention that of one in customer service. I've never written a bad review before, but had to with this place. Watch out. if you make an appointment online. Call in the next day to confirm, don't wait for them as you may not receive the phantom email or it could go to spam. This review isn't so much for you the reader but more of a public THANK YOU to Lisa (the owner) herself. I've known Lisa for over 10yrs now. I started going to Lisa after she was recommended at my first Tony Robbins event "UPW". It made sense to me to cleanse due to the air we breathe, the things we eat, and the toxins that can built up in our body. I made sense to me to help the body along with what it already does innately so I went a few times and felt lighter and cleaner with clearer thinking. "You are either cleansing or clogging, you can't do both" Then I went on a 5day cleanse with nothing but juice, wheatgrass, udos oil, smoothies, and water with electrolyte salts (no solid foods). On this 5day cleanse we did colonics everyday for 5days straight while eating no solid foods. Proof that colonics REALLY worked happened on day 5. After 5 days of liquid only nourishment I had my biggest results (trust me you can see it through the window). Not only did I lose weight and my Elvis/John Wayne impacted feces (ha, no but seriously my organs must of loved me at that moment), my tastebuds felt like they changed and when I reintroduced solid food back into my diet I couldn't finish my meals. I had to dump water over my dinner to stop eating just for the sake of "eating to eat"...it literally felt like my stomach shrunk! I promised myself to do that cleanse once a year and to maintain it by going to Lisa and her team once a month and so I did for years (until late 2007). Then life happened and the collapse of the economy happened so I've only been a handful of times since 2007 (little did I know that it was the most important thing I could of been doing). Stress hormones built up in my body (the primal "fight" ones like 'Cortisol' and 'Norepinephrine' were released into my bloodstream but instead of being their for 30seconds they were there for years). Most people who got hit hard by the economic collapse, experienced the same thing that leads to acidity in the body, inflammation (keyword), autoimmune issues, and unwanted antibodies. And pretty soon before you know it all of those toxic emotions and acidity/inflammation from stress could very well explode into something dangerous. On my rise to be a better me than before and to create/innovate, contribute, grow and add value the stress from one of the events (Shark Tank) along the way sparked a "Flare up" in my body from all the inflammation. So of course one of the first people I turned to was Lisa. I used cleansing before for different reasons, today cleansing for me is to not only to help rid toxic foods, gluten, etc. but to cleanse out a build up of stress hormones, acid, and inflammation (treating the cause not the symptoms). I've been getting colon hydrotherapy here for the last year. Kristina was my therapist each time, she is wonderful at her job. However last week I went in on Tuesday and was very sick and nauseous during and after the procedure. I went in that same week on Thursday and informed Kristina I still felt nauseous and sick, and had no appetite and couldnt keep anything down. She immediately got defensive and told me" that just doesn't happen". She was quite during the entire procedure, and just didn't seem concerned, or have any solution or answers about what my body was going through. All she said was "the results are different each time, and what i am experiencing only happens during colonics" It too bad because I really liked this place, but with this last experience , and lack of concern I will not be returning. read more
