The work was thorough, like, surgical precision but make it roof tiles kind of thorough. I watched as old, worn-out tiles gave way to clean underlayment, like a snake shedding its skin to become a much better-insulated, leak-proof version of itself. They navigated tricky valleys, ventilation pipes, and multiple pitches with a kind of grace I didn't think was possible for construction. Ordering the custom Velux units ended up taking longer than anyone anticipated--a manufacturer delay, not Nick's fault--but he kept me updated every step of the way. When we first moved in we had a few minor repairs that needed to be done asap and he fit us in his busy schedule and did excellent work. We have had him do everything from exhaust fan replacement, removing carpet in a bathroom and replacing it with flooring. He replaced 2 toilets, repaired a hanging rain gutter and painted stair railings. He has replaced a side of our deck that was damaged and changed the design to match the rest of the deck. He used quality pressure treated wood and was climbing up and down to get this 2nd floor railing perfect. He is very busy (which means he is very good), so you might have to wait a bit for an opening in his schedule but he is worth it. Plus he is a very nice guy and easy to communicate with. He invoices and always makes sure we are all on the same page.

When we asked them to be more conscientious and considerate of our property, we got a bunch of attitude and aggression from both the painters and their manager Dave. When we brought up our issues to the owner, Matthew, we got the same angry/aggressive response as if we were in the wrong for speaking up.
