I used to think the Pernice family was a good known family in our town who we thought we could trust to do some honest electrical work for us, but it turned into a nightmare... I hear we are not the only ones either!! John Pernice (the son of of the owner) came and gave us an estimate, asked for money upfront to get supplies to do the job, left, and never came back.. I called him many times about it, and a few times he said he was coming to do it that he got held up or something with the supplier. Said he would come tomorrow. It was now tomorrow, called him, he said he had it and was on his way, never showed up and stopped answering my calls after that. its been about a year now and he still has the $700+ i gave him, and never gave it back or completed the work. I've talked to about 5 other people around town who said he's done pretty much the same thing to them, and those people said they know other people that Pernice electric has done that to as well. So it looks like this company is basically robbing people left and right. It's BS! I had to hire someone else and dish out more money, so now i am like $2000 in the hole over a small electrical job. I hope this gets stopped soon, I can only imagine how other people out there have been robbed by these low lives.
