They saw what was wrong and fixed it. , Working with Zack and Eddie was a pleasure. They were on time, very friendly and were able to determine what was wrong. I was impressed with them. As a follow up, I asked them to provide me with an estimate for another project which we will do next month. I found Gladiator listed in Tesla's recommended Electrician website to install EV charger in my property. Reached out them thru their website and got a reply from Mike (the owner) within few minutes. They collect initial information such as electric panel, location of installation and pathway from main box to the location. Mike stopped by few days later to survey the property and provided me an exact quote via online. The quote site provides option to pre-qualify for financing which was a convenient option. Once I accepted the quote, got an installation appointment date 2 weeks away. On appointment day, Gladiator team arrived right on time. They did an amazing job of pulling the cable through my basement ceiling without cutting or poking anything. They used good quality material to run the cable through the trench to the charging dock. They installed the charger and ensured my Tesla was charging properly post installation. It took them about 6 hours to complete the job and they were dedicated to it through out the time. John, Jessie, Marcus were amazing. Gladiator pulled the permit and scheduled inspection with the town. I received notification emails for each of the appointments and reminders as well. Once inspection was done, I got all the documents from them to submit to PSE&G for rebate program. Overall I had an amazing experience working with Mike and Gladiator team. Really happy to see such a great company operating from my town. Would recommend them for any EV or electrical job. Will reach out to them for any future work in my house. read more

I posted this review on Google 3 months ago. Now I used Gladiator again and it still applies: "I was very pleased with the service I received from Gladiator. They kept me in the loop with texts at every change of status. The serviceman, Will, was very knowledgeable, answered all questions, was quick and neat also. I look forward to using this company for all my electrical work." That was for installing a 220 line for an air handler. This time was more challenging. I had lights dimming occasionally when I ran certain appliances. PSEG found some issue at the pole. When it was repaired, it only exacerbated my problems with lights going out completely now, TV box constantly rebooting, etc. Will found the cause rather quickly in the grounding to the water meter, improperly done when the house was built and now loosing contact due to corrosion. Gladiator scheduled emergency repair for the next day. Thank you, Gladiator. Hopefully I won't need electrical for a while, but when I do, I will call Gladiator again. read more

He set realistic expectations for when they had their next availability, and was able to schedule us in. We had some minor things that we needed repaired in our home inspection along with light fixture installation. Mike sent a quote to us right away for each thing we needed. We even received a reminder email. Eric came the scheduled day. At first I thought that maybe we would have to explain to Eric everything we sent to Mike (not that it would be a big deal). Worked with Mike and Gladiator to install a 240v in our garage to charge our Tesla Model 3. We gathered three estimates; two of which were from the Tesla approved outside electricians. I contacted Gladiator Electric to see if they could replace a small ceiling light fixture (no fan) with a pull chain. I had already bought the replacement light. I ultimately reached them through Yelp's messaging system, and the owner, Mike, replied within 30 minutes. I told him the work that needed to be done and a picture of the replacement light fixture. Since it wasn't an urgent request, Mike gave me a quote that was very reasonable and a list of available times in the following week. Upon confirmation of the job, I received an email and text that went to their website that listed my job, the price of it, and who was performing the work (Eric). In the following week, on the day of the job, I received a text from their website, indicating their estimated time of arrival. Eric the electrician showed up on schedule. I handed him the replacement light and showed him where the old light was located. Eric asked some additional questions about the electrical wiring, which I answered to the best of my ability. He brought in his small utility ladder and got to work. I chatted with him a little bit initially, and Eric was a super friendly guy. I then left him to do his work. He finished the work in about 25 minutes. I paid Gladiator, and Eric was off to his next job. I am very happy with Gladiator's workmanship, even though this was a small job. I also like their computer system setup, as I could see the statement of work online and get status updates. Gladiator Electric is very organized with its paperwork. They were great from start to end. They are Tesla approved and were great at answering detailed questions I had about the best way to charge my new Tesla. They responded to text questions usually within 15 minutes. For the quote they have a system where you send them pictures and a description of the work you need done. They actually asked for additional info and pics to generate the quote. They sent a written quote and there were no surprises at the end. They sent a few reminder emails that my installation appointment was coming up. They came on time. I wanted a bit more difficult installation to hide the wiring and they did the bit more difficult installation without any argument or complaint. Got about seven quotes to get my Tesla charger installed, and Gladiator was the best fit for me. After a number of quotes you learn something about the electrician. Some quotes came in offering to install 100 amp service to 80 amp service. I didn't know the difference. When Gladiator came in, the person explained to me why I should get 60 amp service. He looked at my panel and told me if I was running what I had hooked up already then I would be flipping the breaker if my laundry machine and dryer were on while I was using my service. Ended up with an honest opinion on how to make it look good for my house to run the wire without leaving holes to patch. And when it came down to do the job, four electricians came and did a quick job, cleaned up and the quality of work was solid and experience was professional. Wish I knew about these guys when I gutted my house and had a lot of work done. Honest and upfront electricians are hard to find. Well worth the effort to get that last quote.
