I had a really good experience. I would definitely return against Needed my car washed before I went to my family's house but I didn't want to pay $20 for a half done job. Went to this car wash and it cleaned every spot I was stressing about, including dead bugs and bird mess. I got the platinum wash and it did a great job. After my car got washed, I parked in the vacuum spots to deep clean my car. I was shocked to see it vacuumed my pugs hair out because I can't even get lint rollers to get the hair removed from my car. I like how there are places I can put my floor mats to hang while I vacuum under them. The vacuum area is under shade, so the sun isn't on you while you vacuum. read more

Been to other Express Car Washes before so I thought I'd try this closer to home. Same type of convenient set up for a quick machine car wash. Drove up to the kiosk where you get to choose what option yourself without an attendant. I chose the single wash Platinum VIP which was $16 -- not that cheap but pretty standard price. Got to the start of the tunnel where usually they prewash your car, although this time I had only 1 guy who just sprayed my car for a few seconds and sent me through the tunnel already. Finished the tunnel, but noticed at the end where the machine typically blow dries your car, my car came out soaking wet from all the windows. When I went to park to vacuum, I noticed the machine actually did not do a good job of drying most of my car. Luckily I had a microfiber towel in my trunk and in which I had to give it a good sweep. Side note, these vacuums were one of the strongest vacuums I've ever used in any drive through car wash. It was so strong I accidentally sucked up one of my USB cables straight from its port and couldnt retrieve it back. Might have been more of my fault though for not paying attention to where I was vacuuming. Be warned for your small and loose items. Overall, not the best drive through car washes I've been to. But also, it was a pretty quick in and out so I guess I can't really complain much. read more

As others have noted the Covina Express Car Wash is "closed for maintenance", has been "closed for maintenance" for the entirety of November, was still "closed for maintenance" when I drove by this morning (November 26). When I got home I checked my credit card account and noticed a pending charge from them for the month of December. I was also charged late October, for November, even though they're "closed for maintenance" and preventing me and other customers from using their facility. I called their number (626) 699-2043 but could not leave a message, so on a whim I sent a text but (so far) have not received a reply. I've also emailed them, but as they did not reply to a previous email I sent earlier this year, I do not expect an email response this time, either. As they allow customers to sign up online, by NOT also including the means to cancel your membership online they're in violation of California's Automatic Renewal Law, which took effect as of July 1, 2025. They are literally breaking the law. read more

Overall, Covina Express Car Wash is a decent quick and easy car wash option. There is a clear entrance and exit- although the lot itself is relatively small. I went on a Saturday morning and nearly missed the turn-in for the "entrance" to the wash. The staff were friendly and helpful- there are a couple of options in pricing which varies the soaps/waxes that are used as you go through the wash. Couple of things I noticed on my visit: - the dryer isn't super effective and felt like my car (and many other vehicles) were left wet and owners were wiping down their vehicles post wash. I get that the blower is not going to catch every drop, but definitely seemed like more wet than dry initially - there is "free" air and vacuuming after your wash - the vacuum power was incredibly strong which I felt made that my cleaning that much easier - the air was helpful but again, if the dryer worked better it would require less time for me to use the air to get off the remaining drops l - at 11am on a Saturday, the lot was full and I had to wait ~10 mins for a stall read more

I have visited this location a few times but I have seen some patterns that put me off. I usually purchase the $13 car wash option. 1. After paying driving into the car wash tunnel the employee that is "guiding" you into the track is hit or miss. Meaning that sometimes they guide you correctly without hearing the scraping noise of your car rims on the rail, and other times they don't and you hear metal on metal. I think they should add a mirror at the top of the sign inside the tunnel so that the driver can view the rail themselves. 2. The car wash attendant sometimes power washes your car ALL the way around and sometimes they don't. I doubt this is based on the car wash option paid for. Again, because I always purchase the same option. 3. More than once I have seen the vertical mops turning but not touching the car on the right side. So half the car is getting a scrub. read more

I have a membership at Covina express wash. I enjoy using the car wash weekly. My only complaint is when the Carwash closes for maintenance. Last month the maintenance was on a Sunday morning and today (Monday) the car wash is closed for maintenance. It's new, but mediocre. I have the monthly platinum subscription which I'll probably end up cancelling sooner than later. My cars are always dirty after and I feel like I want to drive through a couple times before I have to towel off the vehicle myself. Only machines wash the outside of the vehicle and you have to do everything else yourself. At least they have vacuums. The blowers worked okay a while ago, but now they blow off water like an elderly person tries to blow out a cake of 89 candles. Most of the employees have been friendly, but you can tell this is a minimum wage job for them. read more

Well it appears that there is something not so good going on. Perhaps they have gone out of business. As of this morning @ 8 AM 11-2-2025 the gates were locked and there was one of those mobile solar powered camera security trailers blocking the area where you drive into the car wash area. The very unprofessional part of this is there is no sign on the gate advising what is going on. They had the time and money to put the mobile security trailer in place. But not enough time or the courtesy to let their subscription customers know what is going on. I called the number and it rang for a while then a message that the phone number was not set up for messages. Went to their website and this is the email they have to contact them. covinaexpresscarwash@gmail.com My advice if you have the monthly subscription is this. As soon as you can e-mail them and ask what is going on. If you don't get a response in 48 hours confirming what the issue is call the credit card company you subscribed with and contest your last months charge and and put a stop on their ability to charge you in the future, blocking them from continuing to charge on that card any more. There may be a very innocent and valid reason for this shut down or a very intentional tough luck buddy attitude going on. I'll update in a few days. read more

They mentioned a sign that listed of things that they don't cover. We have 2 cars on unlimited Monthly. The agents at the entry are generally just there to make sure we get on track. (They do nothing else with that water hose) We knowingly went into our Monthly plan because it is still worth the convenience! TODAY we had the pleasure of being greeted by an adorably professional young lady. She pre treated .. focused on spots, went to the passenger side! She was amazing She was what appeared to be customer focused, and as we rolled passed She smiled and nodded as to thank us for coming. Staff is great, the wash and rinse is terrible. The worst is staff only wets one side of car, also soap and brushes don't even do anything to the back of my car! The place have been closed for weeks already and they continue to charge my credit card. The personnel are unprofessional as this place is ran by kids, who you can even see arguing with each other. This is poor management. And I wont recommend it. They closed the establishment and didn't call, text, or notified me via email. They just kept quite continuing to collect payment. Did not wash the jeep right, or rinse it completely. First it's a self service type car wash not a problem. First it didn't want to accept one of my credit cards. 2 it does not give an option if you want the brushes in your roof or not, we wanted the brushes. When you enter the car wash they have employees there to wet your car I don't know with what but there was only one guy so only one side of car got wet with that stuff. Now Into the wash the top brushes did not come down to get the hood or roof. There is a lot of soap that comes out so your car is super soapy you cannot see outside your windows.. The rinse so much soap the rinse left soap on our car.. wash done hood of car dirty front windshield dirty roof of car dirty but now the soap and dirt is dry on the car... Go to the guys working they told me to bring it through again. Now there is 2 guys working so both of the side of the car get wet but this time we ask if the brushes were broken because it didn't wash our car they told us the brushes don't come down on car with parts that are not from the manufacturer we had a roof rack. But there is no disclaimer they told us it's a liability and they are not liable if the rack gets messed up so we said ok bring on the brushes... So the wash was better but still did not rinse right. If you want your car scratched and wheels chipped then bring your car to this place. The rims on my car got chipped twice in this place and i also noticed surface scratches on the paint a few times. Sometimes the machine stops moving your car forward and the car behind you keeps coming so maybe one day someone will get rear ended and sue this place. There is a fat worker in this carwash who is very lazy and can't do his job, he always gives you a look with attitude and he doesn't respect customers. Overall this place is going down the sink quickly i think they need new workers who know how to operate the machines appropriately and are not lazy enough to do their jobs the right way. Save your receipt I've been wanting to get my car washed and I thought I wanted to try out this place. When I arrived I reviewed my options and opted for the diamond wash at $11. This was around 10:00 am. As a soon as exited the wash area a got an emergency work call. I did notice the machine doesn't dry you car like other similar washes. I also noticed my car was still dirty. I left and decided I would call or come back. I came back at 1:00pm because no one answered any of my phone calls. I found an older Asian man and explained my situation and presented my receipt to him. He went on to say I got my car dirty in the three hours that I was gone and after insinuating I was lying I told him give me a another wash or give me my money back. He went on to rip my receipt. I told him what was he doing because that is my property. He dropped my ripped receipt on the ground and signaled to just get my wash. Employee that helped me run my credit card on the entry to the car wash was very pleasant and helpful. But I had the same problem as someone else recently reviewed... When I pulled into the tunnel, the attendant pre-washed the left side of my vehicle and the hood but did not go around to the other side of my vehicle to pre-wash that side. One of the other reviews the business owner suggested that if it happens that way to go ahead and just ask the attendant to wash the other side of the vehicle. I was very aware of that idea, but by the time the attendant got done pressure washing the left side of the vehicle and hood my vehicle was already entering the beginning of the wash process so it was too late to roll down my window and ask the attendant to wash the other side of the vehicle. I also noticed my vehicle was not very well dried off by the tunnel blowers... Even the front windshield still had water on it after the air blowing process. It seems like other express washes do a better job of both washing and drying the vehicle. read more

Wrote a review about a year ago about how this car wash damaged my car and left terrible scratches and they responded that it was not them and my car was like that already. My car was in fact NOT scratched before entering this car wash. They also stated that no other car was scratched. YES there was 3 cars infront of me and ALL 3 cars were complaining to them that they had so much scratching on their car. We waiting about an hour to see what they were going to do to fix our cars but no one was getting back to us. A piece of the car wash broke and they tried saying that I was lying when 3 other cars were trying to get their cars fixed as well. I have been a member for approximately 7 months. I went there on Tuesday May 28th and prior to driving through, a gentlemen sprayed my windows with what I assumed was anti-bug cleaner. After the wash, I discovered the moulding around my side windows looked like bleach had been poured on them. See pics. I told the attendant on duty about it and he informed me no owner or supervisor was available. I left my name and number. I emailed the company this morning (5/29) and after no response I drove to the location. Paul, the owner, advised me that the products they use are water soluble. I explained to him that a man sprayed my windows with something before I drove through. After I drove out of the wash my window frame moulding was discolored so some product, whether it was the spray the individual put on my car prior to, or the soap used in the drive through equipment, damaged my car. I came here to check it out when it first opened and I was impressed. The car wash was well washed and multiple cars get washed at the same time in the tunnel. It's fast and you can vacuum you whole car with no questions asked or feeling rushed. They also have the air compressors on so you can dry your car with no streaks. I purchased the monthly plan and I can wash my car multiple times a week. Strongly recommend this place if you're an avid car washer and you like your car looking great every time. I told them a couple of their brushes weren't working so the top and left side of my car didn't get cleaned. They offered to let me run it through again. I said how is that going wash my car properly today? They said that's all we can do. I asked if I could get it washed at a later date when their equipment was fixed. They said no, we don't do that. I asked for a refund they said no we don't do that. I said it was fraud because your car wash didn't give me what I paid for. They said we can't do anything for you. I believe I found my new favorite car wash. The price is reasonable. I decided to get the Platinum VIP wash and all I can say it's definitely worth it compared to other express car wash places. Plus, if you check-in on Yelp, you receive a free cloth. This place is very clear and the free vacuum is non-stop working so you don't have to press the button every time.
