This is in reference to my previous review regarding my back up camera, I ended up taking it apart avd what I found and I also told the installer that that there are 3 wires one white, black and yellow the white tire the insulation was missing from It rubbing against the license plate and causing a short I used heat shrink in place of tape to repair the open wire once that was done I plugged in into my truck and guess what it worked no water in camera the installer needs training otherwise Luis is great to work with but as far as the guy that said it's full of water needs his eyes checked. This is the worse place to bring a higher end car. Don't do it. Just skip and pass. Dealing with Jason is a joke! He's a kid that will turn on you on a dime. Forget the fact that they are incapable but if they break your bezel or damage your vehicle they will charge you more and blame you! Blame the customer! The service was horrible and really a joke if you compare it to a higher end shop. The worse is that Jason started cussing at me in the most profound way. I ended up paying $1300 for the pioneer system and they double charged me labor just because they couldn't take off the old one. And they broke my bezel which I will now have to buy a new one. Go anywhere but here if you care about your ride. I'm still thinking about sending my car to a Porsche dealer and paying them to fix it all and then taking them to small claims court. But then again, I don't really wanna pick on the little guys. There's a reason they can't level up in life and I can see first hand why. Where do I start? I first visited them last year to install a new Kenwood receiver and some rear speakers. I was very impressed with the service. I visited them again to install front speakers after a failed attempt (by me) and they were very quick with their service. I recently went back to have them fix a wire that came loose under my seat and they fixed it within minutes. I went back a few weeks ago and had an under-seat subwoofer installed. They installed it quickly and showed me how to use it. I am extremely pleased with the stereo and with the work they have done on it. My family has been getting their car electronic-related work done here for years. We came here to get my dad an aftermarket infotainment system and backup camera for his old truck and they handled everything great. This was the first place I thought of when I needed a compact dashcam system installed on my new car. But that's basic stuff they sell and advertise. In this case, I needed something a little different. I recently purchased an aftermarket interior ambient LED set (Source: EBILAEN shop on AliExpress) and came to them to see if they could wire it in and install within the interior trim. After showing them what I bought, and talking them through the wires, controller units, the LEDs themselves, and the locations I had in mind, they said they could do it. Made an appointment to drop off my car that weekend in just a few hours it was ready for pickup. It looked fantastic and worked just as the product described--in other words, they installed it correctly despite limited instructions! They let me know to come back if anything needed a follow-up, which I did. My lighting set came with a little wired control panel (I didn't know it was in the box) that I honestly didn't need since I can control the whole thing from my phone and I didn't want exposed wires or controls. I went back and asked them to unplug the controller (its connecting cable was routed under some trim I didn't want to mess with) and they had it ready while I had breakfast across the street, no extra charge. Final result pics included, taken in daylight and night time (both at max intensity, which is adjustable so you can dim it at night) for reference. Colors are fully customizable via color wheel on the app. I don't think they advertise "interior ambient LED installation" as one of their services but if that's something you need, they can pull it off (assuming you have an LED set in hand to bring in after doing your own research). Steering volume controls are defective. 4.) Car trim piece wasn't put back, found it hidden. 5.) Lastly, my grandma past away this past August and I found it disrespectful that my funeral prayer card was left along with the trash of cables. I went back to address these issues and the guy told me to come back another day. I have been coming here since 1999! I have always had nothing but the best service from these guys. They are honest fair good people here. I recommend them for any stereo and speaker needs. I even brought my cousin in to this steep shop for them to fix the bad installation and crappy equipment the other stereo shop across the street sold her and installed that never worked !!! This place had all new equipment and reran all the proper wires in one day and it sounds great ! We do come in periodically to get the amp adjusted or if there's a small issue and they always handle it right away and it usually only takes them a few minutes then we are happily on our way. I can't speak to their ability to install stuff (I see a bunch of mixed reviews on that front) but they've got an excellent lineup of speakers and the manager and staff have a good ear, and know which speakers actually sound great. At many auto sound dealers you just get a mishmash of different quality speakers some of which really don't make it sound wise; these guys sell great brands and have a nice listening setup. For high quality sound at a decent price they're superb, and you can get a dramatic improvement in sound. As for installing dashcams or complicated setups - no idea, since I didn't ask them to do anything complex, but sound quality is vastly improved and their recommendations were spot on there. read more

I took my new truck over to some stereo shop in riverside where I lives to get a system installed in my traverse. After I left that place I notice a interference sound coming out the speakers. I took it back and they said it wasn't their problem. I was in west covina and took my truck over to covina sound, where I used to go for other installs, after talking with them they told me exactly was was wrong. I was able to upgrade my kicker system to a Fosgate system for the same price. They installed the upgrade and cleared the interference. The sound was so noticeable. I will not go anywhere else.
