This is a full service horse boarding facility with a very nice group of employees and boarders. The facility puts on riding events and children's camps as well. Wyatt has a nice, indoor, stall with daily turnout into a nice pasture. They also have an awesome, half covered, arena which is open to boarders to use. Be aware, if you book and have vehicle issues she will keep your money and not issue a refund. We have no plans of staying in Hutchins, TX ever again. We were moving across country. That was the ONLY reason for me booking. Plus, she chose the number of stalls herself to make more money off of me. We have mini animals and not full size horses. She must be very hard up for money to not refund someone who had vehicle issues costing $1,280!

We have stayed at this facility multiple times and never had a issue and recommend them to everyone. We will go out of our way when traveling to put our horses up here and hook our trailer up. As I know I can trust all will be safe and looked after as we always have to drive to the stock yards (about a hour away) and eat at my husbands favorite restaurant so we will be gone 3-4 hours. They have always been accommodating. The latest time we stayed was about 3 weeks ago and we pulled up about 7pm and there was a worker there waiting on us. Cindy had texted me letting me know a gentleman had got our 2 stalls ready and will be waiting on us to help get horses settled in and help us get our trailer hooked up. Then I told Cindy we were heading to the vet the next morning in Oklahoma and she asked what was going on. Once I told her she gave me multiple phone numbers and references if I needed and was very helpful.

Facilities are always kept clean and in top condition. Arena is soft and maintained regularly. Paddocks have great fencing, 3-sided sheds and are cleaned weekly. *Would give this vet zero stars if I could*…read more To say that I am incredibly dissatisfied with the care I have received from Burleson Equine is an understatement. I recently moved to the area from out of state, and was looking to establish care with a great vet. Burleson Equine was close to us and had good recommendations. The first time I brought my horse to the clinic for spring vaccines and a new patient exam, the vet didn't even perform a physical exam on her; instead she simply gave her vaccine through the trailer window. As a former equine vet tech, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured she was just busy and had more pressing patients on her schedule. Come fall, I scheduled an appointment to bring her into the clinic for a float and fall vaccines. when I got there, the vet that performed the float was filling in while she was out of town. I asked to have bloodwork ran to screen my mare for Cushings due to her age and a few indicators she recently exhibited. He did a fantastic job and enjoyed my experience with him. However, things quickly went south after that. After paying the ridiculously expensive bill (be prepared for a 10% convenience fee if you're using care credit; which wasn't applied the first time I had an appointment with them), I realized they had invoiced me for the same vaccine that they had given my horse in the spring. Turns out whoever made the appointment incorrectly labeled what vaccines my horse was due for, so she got a second round of the Core EQ, and then proceeded to not refund me because the service had been rendered and I "should have caught that mistake while the vet was giving the vaccine". I was told the vet that owned the clinic would be giving me a call the following week with her bloodwork results. A week passes by and I get a voicemail from Dr Jordan discussing my bloodwork results, saying she could send them to me via email and I could call back with questions. Over the next three weeks, I repeatedly called the office asking to speak with her and if she wasn't available, at least get the bloodwork results sent over to me so I could have them. All five of the times that I called, I was told that the vet wasn't in the office, they weren't sure when she was going to be back, and that it was "illegal" for them to send me my bloodwork results without authorization from the vet (even though I paid the invoice in full and they are legally my property). The customer service from not only the hospital manager, but the receptionist as well, was very unprofessional and sounded like they had zero interest in wanting to help me. I finally received a phone call and my bloodwork results via email on November 22 after I sent them an email notifying them that I was aware of the Patient Records Release and Charges rule 573.54 in the Rules of Professional Conduct section of the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners, and would be filing a formal complaint through the TBVME based on the denial of my multiple requests for release of my horse's bloodwork results. Very shortly after that email was sent, I received a phone call from the vet that was filling in, and was told I needed to sign a release form to allow the hospital to release my own records, to myself. I sent the form back immediately, and have yet to receive the remainder of my records. Having 5 years of experience working as a veterinary professional, I did not want to write this review. I know how taxing and difficult it is to work in veterinary medicine, especially in equine medicine, but the lack of professionalism and proper veterinary care that I experienced from Burleson Equine is unacceptable. The treatment I received from the staff is shady and their business practices are sketchy. I have certainly learned my lesson here, and will definitely be doing more research regarding a veterinary clinic's ethics and morals before I trust my horse in their care.

They came out at the anticipated time that afternoon, and I know if I need help again with one of my horses I'll give them a call.
